I really never had a great experience with these people. Have to deal with them so making the best of it. Today, I called just to order one little item. While on hold I backed 2 batches of cookies & then this person whom I just could not understand took my order and to my surprise put me on hold again. I made some rice crispy treats while I was holding.
How they can stay in business if just amazing. I'm been trying to get an answer for over l month. I received oxygen in Port Charlotte, Florida, ( live on Long Island) and returned it to them here on Long Island. I asked for a receipt and told I didn't need one. I had the oxygen for 3 weeks and they are still billing Medicare for it. (4 months) I called Lincare in Florida and Long Island at least 30 times and not
One person called me back. Wonder why we are paying so much for Medical insurance. Don't use them!
If the review would allow lower than 1 I would go negative. I have been trying for months to get in touch with the customer service line. I sit on hold for what feels like eternity and finally give up. I have been billed several months for supplies that I have never received. $14.03 each month. I have gone into the local office with no success there. They can't even see what the bill is for. I would HIGHLY recommend finding a different supplier.
My daughter was recently switched from one Lincare office to another because the other location is"closer" to where we live is what I was told. Well this office we are being forced to use now is the absolute worst! I just called to order my daughters supplies, same supplies I've ordered for over 10 years every month grant you, only to be told by some rude, uninformed and unconcerned employee that they don't order this certain item! I asked when did this change happen as I've ordered this item every month from the other Lincare office, she says "well we don't have it here!" This office has sent my daughter faulty equipment but charged as if it were new and now I can't order supplies that I've ordered for 10 years or more! We're done with Lincare!
Lincare is one of the worst companies that I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I have a bi-pap machine. I was told that if I outright purchase it would be $3000. I went via insurance and my insurance (Blue Cross) pays for rental until you have bought the machine. Thus far Lincare has billed my insurance for $7,570.20 and say there are. 3 more payments. They cannot explain the variance. I have been bounced between the insurance department and customer service with a few diversions to billing. No one has a clue. Also I had to go to the local office to have my address corrected because apparently it is too much for them to do over the phone or internet. To date I have not received a single invoice but the collection notices seem arrive on time. I have paid the bills but I am seriously thinking of throwing the machine in their front door. Crap company. I will go else- where next time and I advise anyone else to do the same. Disappointed that I had to give them even a star.
Response is slow. No upkeep of equipment. Still charging my bank account months after returning the machine. I have called and called to get this changed. My bank will stop these charges for $30.00, which makes me all the madder at this incompetent supplier.
I am still waiting after two months of phone calls to remove the electronic withdrawal from my bank account. Now it is the end of the month and still no refund. Will Lincare take another withdrawal or refund by the first of the month. Do we have to sue them in court to collect or stop this? Never let this company set up auto pay. Find another company to do business with. Buyer beware.
My father was on tube feeding and they did not send out his food. After several phone calls in one day I was desperate and called insurance company. As the next day was Saturday the insurance was not able to get a new company involved until Monday. I called Lincare again and they said they would send the food when they felt like it! Tube feeding requires a specific liquid feeding mixture and my 80 year old Dad had to wait from Friday until Monday for food. People on feeding tubes still feel hunger and not having the nutrients he got sicker and we had to have a nurse come to try and help with a sugar IV. I cried for two days watching my Dad go without food and suffer. This is not the first bad experience with Lincare and I have never dealt with such uncaring, nasty, rude people in my life. Even calling the corporate office I could find no one who cared.
When I needed oxygen the manager refused to supply based on insufficient records. My Dr. sent every record he could but still no help. Insurance company sent a representative out to explain that requirements were met and they had obtained records they shouldn't have. Finally the district manager returned the records. After visit from insurance rep the manager calls me and said he would still not supply the oxygen.
Lincare bought my original bipap supplier and after weeks of calling they said that even though the insurance would pay for a new machine after mine broke. M machine was past the 5 year requirement for a new machine as well. They said they would decide if they wanted to supply the machine even after the dr. called them. I need oxygen through bipap at night and they didn't care. Finally insurance company pulled there approval and sent it to another company and I had the machine within 48 hours. Nasty office people and Icare at corporate took information and said they would help and I never heard from them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
I was having issues out of my aunt's concentrator. It has been beeping for weeks and no matter what we've done we could not troubleshoot the problem so I called Lincare and they sent out a driver. Her name was contessa and she is the most detailed person I've ever met from Lincare and explaining everything about the machine that nobody else did when they first brought out the concentrator. She was very proficient and enjoyable to talk to and for that she gets a 10 star rating from us! I hope she is the only one that they send out with any more future issues! She was very professional and caring. Thank you for sending someone experienced that took the time to explain everything to us!
They are the worst customer service oriented business I have ever dealt with. They do not answer phones or return calls from messages. They do not call before delivering, not even a mention a day they are coming. They can also be rude if you get them on the phone. I thought it was just the Fall River, MA office, but by the looks it's the whole company.
When you live in a small town and Lincare holds the contract, they do what they want. And the employees are underpaid and likely abused by the management. That doesn't help me as the customer who can't get my medical supplies in a timely manner though. I've been overcharged, sent products that I didn't order and can't get a call through to accounting. (She's only one person, apparently!)
I don't want to use them, but they're the only game in town and they know it.
Answer: Yes, Lincare is fraudulent. I finally sent a letter to my Medicare Advantage and also Medicare. The only way to stop this company is to take action. All of our rants and raves are exactly that, rants and raves. Please talk to your insurance company and medicare provider. This company needs to not be in business, especially with such vulnerable customers who depend on them. WA state

Answer: Really? Then ask someone why I tried for over 3 weeks to get a new c-pap mask and hose from the HOME office in Florida and it never showed up! I'm not indigent like some of your customers, I don't accept incompetence. My sleep clinic simply changed me to a new supplier and I am now very, very happy with them.
Answer: DONNA, I REPLACE THE FILTER BY ASKING MY SUPPLIER, THEY USUALLY ARE VERY ACCOMADATING AND GIVE ME ONE. LINCARE, NORCO, AND SUPPLIER WILL REPLACE IT. I ALWAYS CLEAN THE VENTS MYSELF, BUT I LET THE COMPANY REPLACE IT.
