Been active on Listia for about 2 months. Already have well over 100 positive reviews - mostly selling but some buying. Haven't had a problem so far *knocks on wood." Couple of times I had a question for support and within a couple hours, I had well thought out, informative and helpful responses. Only issue is that I have one buyer that doesn't confirm delivery within a day or two like everyone else. Not that they open disputes or anything, it just locks up your funds until 20 days after payment way made. That's only 1 buyer out of dozens. Seems like they have really tightened things up in a good way since switching back to Points from Ink. Fill out some surveys and it's like free money. Highly recommend giving it a shot.
I bought a. 999 silver gram bar from what appeared to be a trusted seller but instead received a small silver grain bar about half the size of a gram. When I did all that listia asked me to do they said I didn't send pictures which I sent 3!. Regardless listia closed the account with no other options. The seller of course was happy to have my credits and not worry about making any other corrections as he can keep selling grains for grams and listia isn't incorporated enough like that of ebay, amazon or even etsy to manage a site such as this one. With all that said please do not misunderstand me there are many good sellers and buyers but listia is a great place for the con artist and listia will stand behind them.
They stole 80% of the value of all credits in the blink of an eye. Do not use, total scam now. Used to love buying and selling because you didn't have to buy their credits you could auction stuff and do it for free but now it's terrible
This websites great I love being able to get rid of my stuff but I just don't like how people keep acting rudely if you charge for shipping. I mean you are already getting things for free why are people being ungrateful. The mods should find a way to restrict bad comments for charging shipping. I give away a lot of stuff if I offered free shipping for everything I would be broke I'm a college student I dont have that much money. People on ebay aren't rude when you charge shipping.

I have been a member of Listia for about 2 years. I have conducted several successful auctions and won quite a few as well. I have found Listia's support team to be both professional and fair. My only complaint in regard to Listia is the maddening rate of inflation regarding the Listia credits. I bought a laptop on listia for about 100k credits, where as now I don't even believe that could get me a book about laptops (being facetious here, but not by much). That is why I have not been active on the site in almost one year.

Listia stinks don't join. Tom F is *******@ss Hole every time i log in the value of listia points suck eggs. So tom i have not been using the useless listia sight. The moderators are biased as bad as our news media is all liberal.

Feel scammed by both Listia (who allowed this to be published) and TrialPay. I did an offer which said, word for word, "confirms instantly'' to get bonus credits.
Wow, THIS surely did not happen. I am now getting the runaround from TrialPay, asking for screen shots of my computer to prove I made the transaction.
The words confirms instantly is completely fraudulent!

I was a member for a few years, and received quite a lot of cool stuff. Also contributed numerous items.
I became fed-up with Listia after too many sellers kept the postage fees I sent and failed to send me the items.
I stopped dealing with them altogether when they started the 'ink' system- was unable to figure it out.
I believe the site would be good if a) Listia reimbursed us for postage ripoffs, and b) went back to the former credits system.
The site itself is OK but can lag. Its great to get rid of stuff but there are way too many rude free loaders on there. You are willing to give your stuff away for free but still ppl complain you are also not shipping it for free! Seriously the rude comments left on my auctions regarding shipping is giving me serious doubt's I will contine listing me items. I may just be a bidder from now on...
So you use credits instead of money and it's an auction site. To make sure you don't get scammed, only bid on auction with 100% next to their name. That means they have no negative feedback. Either way you can read their sellers feedback. And if you read everything, it tells you if that auction has free shipping or not. And you can always apply the filter to show auctions only with free shipping. This site is amazing. As long as you pay attention to what you're doing. I've been with them for about 9 years

Used Listia for a few years and have had no problems. Just be careful to read descriptions and rules of the sellers. Read with your eyes wide-open and look over the sellors reviews. The best way to protect yourself.
I wonder if Listia can be used for making a true profit. Like the guy (not on listia) who traded up from a red paperclip to some crazy substantial profits.

Listia used to be good. You could actually get some things for a reasonable amount of credits. Now, it's nearly impossible with the crazy amount of inflation and it's ridiculous the amount of credits that people want for some things when it's obvious they are nowhere near the amount these people think they are worth. It comes across as greedy which is unfortunate for the people who are actually honest and fair on there.
I have been on Listia for a little over 3 years now, as a buyer and a seller, I really love this site and have not had any real problems with it at all! Yes, the value of the dollar fluctuates, but it has not been extremely severe at all, I have never seen it go below 20k for $1, but I look at the fact that the dollar fluctuates every day in regular life, so, no big deal!
Yes, I have bid on things where the seller turned out to be horrible, but I just ask for my credits back and I have gotten them back every single time that I have asked. Again, this is how life is every day too, there are bad people, and then you have those people who are great and they make your day even better! I have "run" into more of the great ones one Listia more than I have run into the horrible ones though, which I am really happy about!

Too many ppl dispute for every little thing. I have used listia for 3 months now and I always ship my items free. It's supposed to be a free website. Then why would someone want to charge 6 dollars for shipping a wallet? I tried refunding it and didn't get my credits back, didn't get the wallet and brittneyshott gave me a negative rating. This website's a joke...
I'm new to listia but am a experienced seller on ebay. I give it an okay because I have won a received an item, but have just sold something and never received my credits. The confirmation number on the item stated she got her item 2 days after she won it. A week has now passed and I never received my credits or any feedback from her. Her profile has stated that she has logged in since receiving the item. Its a hit or miss with this website and you can only hope your buying or selling to reliable person.
There is a woman on Listia who cheated me out of my first auction I did on there. I won an auction for a necklace and sent $3,97 for shipping. She never sent the necklace and I lost my shipping money because I waited for the necklace too long and PayPal only lets you wait so long. I checked her name on Listia and she does this a lot to people. In my world this is fraud and she is getting a lot of money cheating people out of their shipping money, I don't understand why Listia continues to let her do this to people. Why don't they ban her from selling on Listia? It was the first thing I bid on and now I am auctioning things on Listia, but I treat people with respect and don't cheat anyone.

This woman sells cheap necklaces on Listia, cheats you out of your money for shipping, it is always $3.97 and she will not answer your emails. Beware of her.

We allow you to request a refund from the seller within 60 days of the auction ending, so if you haven't done that yet, please do so by clicking the link on the auction. If the seller doesn't agree to give back your credits (thereby allowing you leave them a negative feedback about the experience), an admin will review the situation with you and help you get your credits back. That's a part of our Listia Assurance program, that protects winners from sellers who might not follow through with their promise to ship the item. Waste of time. I won a "authentic juicy couture necklace" and got it and to find out it was not real. So filed a dispute and lost so the lady got to keep my credits even though I spent about half mine on a piece of $#*! fake necklace.
I already tried contacting Customer Support and submitting a BBB complaint and got no help so hopefully this will work. Someone hacked my account and used most of my credits. While I was in the process of straightening this out, my account was suspended. I had 100% positive feedback and 2 million credits that I literally cannot afford to lose as this is my only job now. Please help me get my account back.

I'm a student, and money is extremely tight, I found this website and thought it was an awesome idea, a website where you sometimes don't have to spend a penny! Or put in credit card info! Awesome, a way to get a few things so I am not spending money on wants and small necessities, BUT it is so awful. It is cool at first, getting "credits" or Gin to spend for just doing account building... But after that, it is nearly impossible to earn credits! The heck! All the surveys and videos are a waste of time, you do not get the credits you are told you were, you get NONE. All it is, is a spiral of surveys and giving out personal info all for nothing, it is so bull$#*!. Its a cool thought, and if the right person were doing it, it would be awesome but it is a rip off and it SUCKS.

Listia took our ******* credits and we lost over a 1000 in shipping fees in which they claimed we were nasty to customer, no, not customer, rude people who they allow to comment with stuff like your item is garbage and not worth the points, we even had scammers in which they gave them the credits back and we had proof of signature, they are crooks and have no clue how to run a business.
The icing on the cake: They offer to give me my credits back if I signed a non disclosure agreement - I was told not too as this is a form that is signed by employees to product their business, not to shut up a customer which is what they were trying to do as it wouldn't allow me to bad mouth listia in anyway or they could sue me, nice try losers, when I refused they gave me nothing

This site has to be one of the most unorganized and even less maintained! At first I loved using it, and still am! I have gotten quite a few cute things on there. But the people who bid and win unless you put a tracking number on the item you send out will (EVERY TIME) claim they never got the package so you lose your item and your credits. The mods take forever to get back to something, and when they finally do it is nothing helpful! I am just letting my listia run its course I have said on the rest of my auctions that they will not be sent due to Listia's poor management skills, and lack of actual work on their end! So I am officially done with all of the junk on this site, it use to be fun but the BS you have to put up with UNREAL!
I likes listia and i have been a member since may 2016 and i started selling items on there. The bad thing is that u have a 7 days to ship the item after someone has won the. Dont listia staff think there are people with babies! I HATE listia now. How am i gonna send stuff within a 7 day period with no help at all. I mean i have homework to do, take care of a my baby, and other stuff who has the time. I was banned. I dont recommend LIstia but i did won some items on listia

We understand that life happens, but if you look at it as a user/Winner, there needs to be a timeframe in which items are sent so that a transaction can be completed. Shipping items within the 7 day period is part of our rules and we must adhere to it in order to complete a successful listing transaction. I have only been on the site for a month or so and so far have had horrible experiences! I have won four auctions and have yet to receive one of the items I won. I spent money to buy my husband Christmas gifts (all from the same seller) and it took too long for me to figure out that the seller was a fraud, so now I can't get back the money I spent to buy the credits. I sat at my kitchen table crying my eyes out because I spent all but $10 of the money I had allotted for him for Christmas. Customer service just responded with an automated email. I have credits, but am so afraid to use them now because of these horrible experiences

I've been using this site for about a year. I have sold and "bought" many items on it and overall, I've been very happy with it. I have sold clothes and crafting supplies. In return, I have bought old coins, clothing, and sports memorabilia. Since everything I have bought and sold has relatively low value, compared to a laptop or cell phone, there's little risk and cheap shipping.
I'm a huge fan of Listia, I'm not living in LA LA land, I know some people/auctions are scams! Read everything, ask questions and if you don't feel comfortable don't bid(simple)! I've been on Listia for about 6 months, I have a 100% track record, and plan to keep it! I only list NEW or slightly used items, and only bid on the same, I have had a couple of issues with buyers, but at the end of the day it's not worth it to argue with them, Listia is fun for me and I intended to keep it that way. :)
