“SO FAR SO GOOD!”

Mike M.
11/18/21

Been active on Listia for about 2 months. Already have well over 100 positive reviews - mostly selling but some buying. Haven't had a problem so far *knocks on wood." Couple of times I had a question for support and within a couple hours, I had well thought out, informative and helpful responses. Only issue is that I have one buyer that doesn't confirm delivery within a day or two like everyone else. Not that they open disputes or anything, it just locks up your funds until 20 days after payment way made. That's only 1 buyer out of dozens. Seems like they have really tightened things up in a good way since switching back to Points from Ink. Fill out some surveys and it's like free money. Highly recommend giving it a shot.

“Watch for silver. 999 seller rip offs! Listia allows!”

jimmy d.
2/24/15

I bought a. 999 silver gram bar from what appeared to be a trusted seller but instead received a small silver grain bar about half the size of a gram. When I did all that listia asked me to do they said I didn't send pictures which I sent 3!. Regardless listia closed the account with no other options. The seller of course was happy to have my credits and not worry about making any other corrections as he can keep selling grains for grams and listia isn't incorporated enough like that of ebay, amazon or even etsy to manage a site such as this one. With all that said please do not misunderstand me there are many good sellers and buyers but listia is a great place for the con artist and listia will stand behind them.

This site is terrible. If you are a seller & are in the same category as one of their "special" sellers, beware. LIstia doesn't enforce the rules for them & will allow the other sellers & their minions to harass you until you just give up & leave.

It's a fun place to upcycle things in your house. The problem is, once you've cleared your stuff, you want to bid on other people's things. You do run into a few scammers, but they're easy to spot the more you are there.

Plus you can get your credits back, simply by opening a ticket. There is also a block button if need be.

Tip for consumers:
It's like ebay but for credits, not money.

I have really been enjoying Listia and have had mostly great experiences with people. I only bid on items that list "Free Shipping" and I only post items I will offer free shipping on so I haven't had any big problems. Most everyone has been really friendly in emails. I've bid on and won some pretty cool (to me) items. I got a whole season of a tv show on dvd and some really nice clothes. And when a couple charms broke in shipping to me, the seller was super friendly about it and immediately sent replacements, plus some extras. I'm keeping things as simple as I can as a bidder and as a seller. I'm not trying to win anything really big yet. Plus, it's just like eBay - you need to check the feedback on a seller before you bid. It's not a guarantee, but if you research a little before bidding, you can avoid a lot of scammers. It's not a perfect system but what is? I've been enjoying it so far.

Never returning back to listia until credits go from $1 = ******* back to $1 = 1000. I don't care if you guys can't control the inflation, bring old listia back. You continue to make the site worse. You have TWO stars. If you want it to be atleast 3, do what your fans want. A happy, lovely, and cheaply listia. Not some high balling ******* credits for a playstation!

First of all, the stupid website suspended my account for no reason. I had nothing but good feedback from buyers and sellers and I have never made a rude comment or done anything to get my account suspended. They did this right after I had spent $20 buying Listia credits which leads me to believe that Listia scammed me for my money. Also, they tell you that you can get good stuff for free, but trust me, its not free. You have to pay shipping and handling at least 80% of the time and the people charge you an arm and a leg for it! I will not be returning to Listia because I would not be at all surprised if they suspended me again for no apparent reason.

Listia is okay you can earn credits to get free stuff, I normally just watch videos. I just look at free shipping items. I wish it was easier to get more credits for people who can't buy or sell also I think people should get more items on how much they bid.

Hi Shannon. We try our best to offer many ways to earn free credits, but yes, the best way to build your credits is to list items for others to bid on. If cost is an issue, you can always list with a shipping fee. Hopefully you'll be able to earn more credits soon and win great things on our site!

This site gets 3 stars for the idea in it but the set up is bad. They allow you to charge for shipping but provide no way to do it. They make a fortune selling credits that cost them zero so they least they could do is invest that money back into the site for a better experience

I've personally had a wonderful experience on Listia. Everytime I've had an issue with a buyer (and you will get them from time to time; especially those who refuse to send a verifies address). I always sent support tickets and someone ALWAYS responded. A member that was messaging me and cussing me got the boot quick. Keel up the good support!

Crappy customer service. Support tickets closed for no reason because ListiaKevin or ListiaRosie are too lazy to do their jobs.

The feedback system is idiotic. If someone doesn't contact you, then why let them leave feedback and then refuse to remove it even though your terms of service say that you will?

This site is a mickey mouse operation. I'd rather throw out my stuff than use this crappy site.

I just want to make a comment about Listia.com I have won several auctions on Listia which I received the items no problem at all. But, when winning an auction on Listia I never hear from the seller at all and never know if the item is shipped or what. I just think that if you are selling something then give customer service to the winner by communicating with them. Let them know something. I do sell on Listia and I always communicate with all my winners for I know I would like the same respect to customer service. I have bid on a tv and the winner said to send him a money order for the shipping so I sent a money order for the total amount he said for shipping. It has been a week now and I haven't heard from him at all. I don't know if he is shipping it to me or not so I don't know if I should file a dispute or wait. I am just so furious over no communication...

At first I thought listia was fun and a great idea. A handful of transactions in and I run into the flakey side of listia. Lonely guys in dire need of affirmation, bored middle aged women on a power trip. Don't get me wrong most of my transactions were flawless. 20% have been absolute nightmares. I'm done with the site and the creepy little games these supposed adults are playing. I'll stick with eBay where the fees filter out almost all of this behavior.

OMGosh-How can anyone whose intelligence quotia is at least part of the overall bell curve pass up an EASY WAY to turn junk into $$$$?
I have honestly flipped hundreds of designer items (most New w tags) that I have won on the site, for serious cash! There is no Thrift store/consignment shop in the universe that carries the amount of items and variety that Listia does... or that gives you the opportunity to swap your stuff right out of your house for credits to get gift cards (just like cash as they can also be flipped and sold).
Im here to tell you... if you haven't figured out yet how to make Listia work for you, and pay your rent... well then you don't deserve to get the goodies! LOL Not that hard to figure out!
Hands down, easiest way to make money and w/No taxation whew hoo!

I got ride of so much stuff here that I know have well over 1,000,000 credits but they have changed how they do things. They have chance the credits to INK. To change my credits into INK is not even comparable to the value of my credits. Plus the produce that is being offered by people is totally different that it used to be at a higher price and most are charging shipping where before there was a lot of free shipping. I probably will transfer my credits into INK and purchase something to use them up and never use the site again.

Listia sucks theres no system in place to make sure the new people are able to win stuff the site is dominated by greedy bidders who over bid on most of the items making it almost impossible to win anything i tried to win a 15 dollar amazon gift card and the same bidder over bidded on every amazon gift card on the site there should be a system in place to make sure everyone gets a fair shot

I grow a garden, collect seeds, and when I found Listia I thought I had hit pay dirt. I have had such sweet little notes and prompt service. Being a newbie I goofed once and buyer so understanding--I more than made up for the error in my shipment. Maybe gardeners are just a wonderful down to earth group to hang with. I don't know, but I have enjoyed so immensely. Only been at it a few weeks, but constantly got things going out and coming in. Christmas every day!

I just opened an account sold a huge variety of cosmetics, mailed it out with tracking, seller recvd items and I would have had 80,000 points but then they banned it saying multiple accounts. I had a sister in law that had one but she doesn't not live with me! So now im out 80,000 and my cosmetics plus shipping charges. Follow the riles and you get screwed. Its not fair and I wish I could complain. Maybe the BBB. Any suggestions because what they did is stealing. Ive never had an account before a month ago!

Hi Luise. We do not simply remove accounts without reason. If your account was a multiple to another account, it was in violation of our Terms of Service and therefore removed correctly. If there was sufficient proof otherwise, your account would not have been suspended. You can submit a support ticket and we can look into things further with you, if you'd like.

Sincerely,
Tom

This company used to be great according to my friends but when I dealt with them I just came to know that they are theifs. Company has turned into complete joke. Total scam now! Now I avoid buying from other people on here unless I have built a relationship with them because i have been scammed too many times and listia's dispute team does pretty much nothing.

I love the idea of the site, but their support is crap. I've been trying to get a hold of them for 2 weeks with nothing for a response. I have many issues with their site, and even though they say they will get back to you within 2 days, they seem to have no regard for fixing them. I want to cancel my membership on the site, but I'd really like to get the baby dress I just won first!

First of all, I don't understand all the negative reviews. The only reason that the people who voted one star is that they violated the rules, one way or another. Listia is a great site. I haven't had any problems with any of my transactions since I signed up in May 2015. (Over 30 transactions) I've gotten countless items that I wouldn't be able to have bought in real life, which is another great thing about this site. If you haven't signed up yet, please use this link- https://www.listia.com/signup/******* You will get 1000 free credits for joining :)

Firstly, i avoid buying from other people on here unless i have built a relationship with them because i have been scammed too many times and listia's dispute team does pretty much nothing. Therefore, i only used the site to sell and transferred my points into cash money. I was selling brand new items i was unable to sell in my amazon store so it's not like i was selling junk. I was selling about 5-10 items weekly with a 100% rating.
Lastly, now it has changed to some form of cryptocurrency no one uses or accepts off of listia. Therefore, if i can't use this new currency off the site it's pointless for me to keep selling.
Very disappointed, i feel like i have no choice but to leave.

On this site for almost a year. After I accumulated 900,000 points my account was suspended for no valid reason PLUS I got scammed for a $50 Walmart card.
I paid the credits only to find no money on card. Listia ignored my emails. I reported them to Better Business Bureau (they keep changing their address) and police discovered they don't have a legitimate address or phone number. Could be operating from China, Police said!
This is just about the worst site on the internet so B E W A R E!

I have sell about more than 100 products and was able to collect around 100,000 credits so that I could bid on something big. First I was only unable to bid but now I am unable to login as well. My account was banned with reason "Funneling credits". I assure them that I have only 1 account and also asked them to please let me know that what they had identified and give me a chance to prove my innocence but no reply yet received. I have done lot of hard work to market my products and encouraging users to bid on my products through various blogs etc and now my account is suspended when the time has come to spend those credits. I asked them to kindly reactivate my account or tell me what I should do so that my account would be activated but no reply yet received. With the help of this site I hope I could get a reply.

Tip for consumers:
Use your credits as soon as possible.

I used to Free Trade often when it first started... I was with the first large group of users.
It was AweSOME.
I had to step back from it for a while.
I returned to find a "dollars-to-credits" type of trade thing happening like a virtual currency & it has changed the face of the once-upon-a-time "Free Trade"... to the negative, unfortunately.

I'm saddened by this.

You put your items up fairly easily. I paid $5 for some points, I will never use. When I figured out the bids I was receiving would not cover the shipping on ANY of the items, I put in a request to have the account closed. They replied it was closed. From the emails I am receiving they are still going about like the items are available and my account is still active. Each email I respond to with another request to close the account, to no avail.

You shouldn't be receiving any more emails if it is closed, but if you are, please submit a support ticket and in the topic section please write "Sitejabber" so that we know the reason for submission. It was a long boring day and I didn't know what to do in order to shorten that day. I believed that it would be cool to search in the internet for some cool shopping centers. Finally, I found listia which seemed to me pretty interesting, because it offers things for exchange for free. So you cna just give them things which you don't need anymore and then they send you some things which you need. It's okay for those people who always buy something but don't use it. I guess that this service should be paid with attention from people, because it really deserves it.
