“SO FAR SO GOOD!”

Been active on Listia for about 2 months. Already have well over 100 positive reviews - mostly selling but some buying. Haven't had a problem so far *knocks on wood." Couple of times I had a question for support and within a couple hours, I had well thought out, informative and helpful responses. Only issue is that I have one buyer that doesn't confirm delivery within a day or two like everyone else. Not that they open disputes or anything, it just locks up your funds until 20 days after payment way made. That's only 1 buyer out of dozens. Seems like they have really tightened things up in a good way since switching back to Points from Ink. Fill out some surveys and it's like free money. Highly recommend giving it a shot.

“Watch for silver. 999 seller rip offs! Listia allows!”

I bought a. 999 silver gram bar from what appeared to be a trusted seller but instead received a small silver grain bar about half the size of a gram. When I did all that listia asked me to do they said I didn't send pictures which I sent 3!. Regardless listia closed the account with no other options. The seller of course was happy to have my credits and not worry about making any other corrections as he can keep selling grains for grams and listia isn't incorporated enough like that of ebay, amazon or even etsy to manage a site such as this one. With all that said please do not misunderstand me there are many good sellers and buyers but listia is a great place for the con artist and listia will stand behind them.

I can honestly say I have had only one real problem with Listia and it was a stupid mistake that caused my problem on my part. Listia was real helpful in getting me back on track. Be honest, don't swear or be a jerk, find out the problem I didn't even know how I did it. It took several hours and a lot of patience and I was back up online and happy. I was back with my friends. I am still not sure what I did and don't know how I did it but thanks for setting me straight and getting back up with all my friends. Peggy J. D.

Very cool site. The simple idea that you can get things you want just by getting rid of thing you don't want is amazing in itself. Just like any site it can take a day or 2 to get the feel of how he site works but once you get the ball rolling, everything just falls into place. Very easy to navigate around the site and you can even comment on other members auctions. And the badges make the site so much more fun. Highly recommend the site! -Shelbya09

Slowest login l have ever seen l sit for hours trying to log in to this site l have started the down load and while it was downloading l took a shower and when l was done checked the computer and it was still downloading so far it has been over an hour
L would not recommend this site to any one

I don't know if there is a feature that outbids another bidder automatically, but everytime I bid on something 1 guy would outbid me every time eg. I bid 150 He'll bid 160, and the annoying things about this is its only one person/account who is automatically outbidding me. I'm not winning even a single bidding bc of this

Hi,

If you have been noticing that you are immediately outbid each time you bid, it is probably because of our automated proxy bidding system. We use an automated proxy bidding system in which it only bids as much as it needs to, in order for you to be the top bidder, up to the max bid amount you placed.

For example, if a user places a bid of 5 credits and the auction starts at 0 credits, the top bid will only be 1 credit since that's all it takes for them to be the top bidder. If you now placed a bid for 3 credits, the other user would still be the top bidder at 4 credits and you would be outbid automatically and immediately. If you placed another bid for 10 credits, you would become the top bidder at 6 credits since that's all it takes for you to become the top bidder, since you surpassed the max bid of the other user who had bid 5 credits.

Another advantage of an automated proxy bid system is that you don’t have to constantly check the auction’s status. You simply place the highest bid amount that you’re willing to pay, then let the system do its thing for you.

So right off the bat it says you will get free stuff. You have to pay for credits. I payed 50 dollars to get a 49ers card for my friend's birthday. I was supposed to get it four months ago! I emailed the auctioneer, and he has said nothing. That was 3 and 1/2 months ago. Saty away from this site, it's a joke.Don't waste your money, time, or life on this stupid website.

This site is a Rip off. I purchased credits from the site, bid on an auction. I won. Then out of the blue they canceled my account and I got neither what I won nor my money back. Repeated e-mails to them have went unanswered and I still do not know why my account was canceled.

Its an alternative to ebay for me. I come here when I have things i want to get rid of. I have multiple won items so far: ipods, mp3 players, videogames. Just use common sense when bidding. Ive gotten burned by bad member too by the overall. So far my experience has been pretty good.

First off Customer Service is horrible. If you have issue your own your own. Secondly, I have been scammed twice since I've been on their site since April 2015 all because of their horrible system. Even after you send documentation of proof the other party is wrong. I would not recommend to anyone

The site is pretty fun, at first. But i started on facebook, and it kept screwing up and not working, and after several messages to the customer support team about it, all of which went unanswered, i just made a new account. But because I messaged them explaining what happened when it wouldnt let me verify my address because it was under 2 accounts, they deleted my account, said they never got my messages, and then ignored me and said i was $#*! outta luck. It was horrible, and a waste of time, and the amount of scams on the site is paramount. Dont waste your time.

I can't believe all the nasty comments about Listia. As I read through them I can't believe how stupid some users are. If you simply learn to read above the 4th grade level you will understand why you were banned. Selling items to your roommate? Please, just give it to them. If you simply read what is allowed and what is not allowed, you will not be banned.

I have had communications with Listia workers on a few occasions and it was speedy, informative and fair.

Listia credit values is simple "economics 101" - supply and demand. If you don't understand that concept, do a Google search and READ! Have you ever heard the idiom "One man's trash is another man's treasure" - look it up and READ again, then you will understand Listia.

What is going on at Listia? I have been unable to use my account for about a year. I notified Listia. Why cannot I get them to open my account? I have worked with five or six "helpers" at Listia, explaining why I have been gone, and they have the nerve to tell me they have tried multiple times, that they cannot find a way to reset my password so I can open my account. Can you imagine computer techs that can't reset a password? This sounds illegal, irresponsible and duplicitous. I suppose they have taken my almost 100,000 credits.

They ban your account without warning. My account got banned for listing violations when i didn't violate any of their rules. I made another account to try it again and got ban for listing violation and for having multiple accounts. They didn't even tell me what listing violation i broke.

I use Listia.com and I love the site! I have gotten tons of free things with no problems and I have won some auctions I have not received the products but I always got my credits back eventually you just have to be patient. Most of the people on the site are awesome to deal with but just like any site you will have the scammers and the people who don't pay attention to your listing when it says "local pick up only" or "buyer will pay shipping" You get the same type of people on eBay when you offer goods on there. It isn't the site's problem, it is a human problem. I love the site because I get free stuff and get rid of stuff I don't want

Most of the stuff you find on Listia, you can probably find at your local thrift store. I wouldn't put it past some people to have done exactly that. I bid and won on a brand new infant neck support, NIP, and when I finally got it, it reeked of cigarette smoke. Unfortunately I had already given the lady her credits before I checked the product. (I know my fault). When I opened the package, the stench that came out of the box was overwhelming. The baby item was saturated in the smell of cigarette smoke. I had to wash the thing four times to rid the smell. She's lucky I left a neutral review and not a negative one. That's just the kind of thing you'll find on Listia. I'm just using up my last credits and will be closing my accont. Too much junk on there... literally.

All "I love this site" are people employed by listia.com. People should be careful

Why I said it. So many people got suspended. How can this site have any positive feedback?
The people then go back, if you say you are banned member, go bash you saying you have problem mental problem so got fouled. This site staff have to blame members whom they ban. Think how bad listia is. Do not use listia.

Donate money to charity. Listia have to find staff write fake positive feedback. Saying people who write bad must have mental issue. Who really have mental issue people will see.

In order to protect our good users in our community, we occasionally do have to remove some users if they repeatedly violated our Terms of Service or site rules. But when we do that, they're all notified of the reason(s) why, and that usually happens after they've been warned previously.

I saw a person selling fake coupons, reported them and that person continued selling the coupons. Their reply to me showed no consideration and seemed they did not care to investigate at all. That person continued listing the coupons. However, I list a video game and the listing is deleted, does not seem fair to me. I admit I don't know all the rules but that is because listia's rules are hard to find. I sell on ebay. Their rules are easy to find short plain and simple and don''t have a problem finding their rules.

I have been a list I an for a while I l love it and think it's a great experience. I offer free shipping on all my items because it just makes less trouble for me. I have given away great stuff and have received great stuff so yeah I love it and recommend them to all my friends

Use to be. A great site but its trash now you need millions of points to get something and listia has made things harder and harder now it's about them making money and picking thare favorite seller some of the sellers can sell stuff that against the rules but other sellers are not allowed to which is bull because there not even fallowing there own rules

So first off, the stupid surveys never work! Only rarely am I able to get full points, or any points in that matter. The surveys always ask for personal info like emails and addresses. Even phone numbers sometimes! I have been scammed on credits as well. Some survey options say that all you have to do is enter your email and credits will be rewarded. Well guess what, I have done that and haven't gotten the credits but instead I have gotten tons of spam emails from thoes so called surveys! It's far to difficult to get credits because of the stupid surveys and app downloads. They should just have all video stuff so all you have to do is watch an add or whatever and earn credits! It's pissing me off! Not to mention the fact that they keep expired surveys up so when you click it, it doesn't work and they should just give you the credits anyway because it's no fair advertising that you will get credits if you do this survey or this slide show thing but they don't even work!

They suspended bidding on my account because of their own error. Someone won my bid then put in a dispute saying they never received it. Then they said it might have come but i didn't check my mail in 2 weeks. Listia gave them credits back and suspended my account. I got it fixed then i was suspended permanately from bidding. They never told me so I put many items on and when I found out I asked to either use my credits or monetary equivalent. They never responded and when I threatened legal action they put a phony listing up under my account then shut me down and kept my credits. I had over 4 million credits I lost out on so they basically committed fraud and theft. Warning, ripping a lot of people off.

I have been listing and selling, and buying. I had 95% great people. I have received everything I have won. Some of which were rather valuable. When you are dealing with the mases it is unfortunate but there is bound to be some bad experiences. I have had a few unpleasant experience with rude people, but that is not the majority. I do think the moderators of the site should do a better job. None of this negative stuff would be tolerated on Ebay.

I sold many items and I have 9.731.200 credit all the items that I sold and I had paying all shipping for seller and listia never pay my credit. My alert is for buyer that want to sell on listia "be careful they never pay for you.

Ive been on a few months. I offer free shipping because people dont bid much.of they have to pay for shipping. I use to watch the videos giving me 40 credits but now they quit giving me. Credits. For that and then tried finding other free credits that wouldn't spam my phone like games downloaded or stores and would complete and no credits given. When we go in the minus cause we pay for shipping then try and get some free its not fair that we dont get them. When we want to lost for more. Credits then listia takes so many which should be lowered. I pay for shipping and want more free videos or something like the slideshows that wont harass my phone or if i download and check. Out a game for. 2000 credits id like to. Get it
Overall have loved it and a blast.

I use Listia.com and I love the site! I have gotten tons of free things like a necklace, earrings, mtg cards. Most of the people on the site are awesome to deal with but just like any site you will have the scammers and the people who don't pay attention to your listing when it says "local pick up only" or "buyer will pay shipping" You get the same type of people on eBay when you offer goods on there. It isn't the site's problem, it is a human problem. LOL Anyhow, I love the site because I get free stuff and get rid of stuff I don't want... pretty much a win-win for me. :D

I have been with Listia since December of 2013, I don't agree with all the rules that listia has like auctioning off digital items such as a picture of a ps3. Who wants a picture of a ps3 when they are selling things to get credits to buy stuff and then find out its a only a picture... Ya that made me angry although I never fell for that a lot of people did. I have gotten a lot of cool items on here like eos chapstick and a new wallet and purse and all sorts of awesome things but I have also auctioned off a lot of items and have spent nearly$ 300.00 on shipping my items out to winners, so overall im not sure if I am winning or losing. I have expressed my concerns to listia and never really received a response only a listia administrator saying my issue was solved! Although I have always been granted my credits back when someone did not wanna send the item I won!
