I ordered a jumpsuit and within 24 hours called to cancel it. Was told that the VENDOR would respond within 24-48 hours that they received the cancellation request. Haven't heard a thing and my item is still being processed. Three days later. When I click on the tracking there is nothing there. Macys customer service rep told me it shipped. I can request a refund if the item is not here in 6 DAYS? The website said 2- days.
Macys is not worth what they sell I purchased 14 k gold and they sold me a string. And then said we give you 15% off

I love Macy's. They have such nice styles and many are reasonable. I think that anyone could shop there and find something to fit their budget.
I have had a problem with Macy's at LEAST 50% of the time I have placed online orders. I have had my credit card added to without permission. I placed a 40.00 order online@ Macy's. I called to add an item and did not want to pay a separate delivery fee. I used a different card to pay for the second item and advised the sales associate to be careful as I have had my card swiped and over charged. This is the absolute truth, when I woke up the next morning Macy's had charged 274,. 00 to one card and 120.00 to the other and my total original order was 86.00. The associate didn't know how to add to the order without the deliv fee and kept swiping my card trying to figure it out. I was in San Fransisco on a catering job and it took over 90 minutes to straighten this matter out and the supervisor as rude as a person could be said she couldn't do more than take 10% off and she was the one I has spent 90 minutes on the phone with so she knew the extent of the problem. The prices aren't the problem it's the lack of training and care from the associates. I'll pay more for respect@ NORDSTROM's'S.
I ordered a Calphalon Classic nonstick 14 pc pot & pan set on Nov 26. I got an email showing that the order was placed on back order until Jan 11 and I need to respond before the back order due date to receive the order, witch I did. I then got another email showing that the order was put back on back order again and would not get it until Jan 17 and I would have to respond again before the new due date to receive the order. Again I responded that I wanted the order. Two days later I for an email stating my order was canceled. When I emailed them back they told me they never received my response, and I could reorder if I wanted my order. I called customer service to reorder and they told me that the order was canceled dou to no stock. I was also told I could not reorder because they were out of stock. They seemed like they could not or would not even try to help. First I was told is was their automated system that canceled my order then it was a stock issue. What ever the problem customer service acted like they didn't care.
I asked for my name, number, and email be removed from their system so I never here from them again.

I purchased a silver Gevril watch and received a gold one. I called Macy's and they told me they showed I received the silver one. I said no I didn't and asked them to send me the right one. They said ok and 8 days later I got the package and it was another gold watch which was wrong again. I called them again and they still insisted it was the silver one. I said NO! It's the wrong one again. It told them I'm not taking any chances so I'm sending them back. They sent me shipping label but I asked if I couldn't take them to a store which they said yes and I did. I waited 11 days and no refund. I received an email stating the got the watches but no refund. I called and asked where is my refund? They said they had been sent to the manufacture which I don't no why. I told them I received an email stating they had been received and I need my refund. They said no we need to have them shipped back to is. I just need my refund and are making me wait possible 15 days for a mistake they made twice. They never apologized and and I never got the watch I originally wanted. The customer service is ridicules! That's not how you treat a customer. I don't plan on shipping here again very disappoint and still no refund or watch.

I order a piece of furniture for $999 on 11/11 and today's is the 11/17 and still no furniture. It was supposed to arrive 11/15 so I have been waiting 2 days for someone to call me from the warehouse according to representatives and management. This ompanybdoes bad business and after this I will never ever shop here again and I will tell everyone about this bad business practice. I will be going on every site I can to write about the lies this company tells from in store to customer service I spoken to about 5 reps in 2 days and no one seems to know where my item is. Never never never shop at Macys. Do not trust management as they are uncreditable. They just wana tell you sweet nothings with notice of promise. 3rd day and still no call from any one at Macys and my item saulys delivered. This is fraud and robbery and I have no problem getting a lawyer about my 1000 bucks.

I don't know exactly what is wrong with Macy's but their credit card services are bizarre. The customer service reps make stuff up to be disagreeable. They are obviously dissatisfied with their lives and out to make people miserable. I can only believe that they are living in terrible conditions, chained to their desks and say outrageous things as a cry for help. It is just weird. I applied for a card, made a couple of purchases same day at the service desk so didn't have my card number, ever. I never received any correspondence or card. I sat on hold in one of my many attempts to figure out what was happening with the card, statement, any correspondence for over four hours. Finally, the last-ish conversation I asked the rep to cancel my card. It was like I told her she won the lottery-she was gleeful and instantly cancelled my card. I burst her bubble when I told her I wanted a letter in writing stating the card had indeed been cancelled. Nope, Macy's doesn't do that. They only email things like that. They only mail statements but only email letters saying your account is closed. I didn't get an email (season 5 begins). So I called back, and guess what. No they don't email letters like that but they did email a letter like that and it didn't go through (yeah, what?!). So, now they are mailing out a letter that says I closed my account. When I pointed out that they have all of my personal identifying information in the end given me nothing I suspected there is some sort of agile and dealings and I was really hurt and disappointed in the way I was treated they just asked if there was anything else? And I said nope, it was the strangest longest interaction I've ever had trying to receive the physical card that I was accepted to receive, trying to pay off the bill, not knowing my credit card number because I was never given one, and dealing with people who honestly are asking for drama for no good reason other than again I think they're being abused.

I want to start out by saying I am a 24 year old female and I look even younger. I absolutely love Macy's clothing, shoes and purse selection. I work a professional job and find that their selection of business/business casual clothing perfectly suits my style. So, it's really a bummer I always leave the store with nothing. I have been to a handful of Macy's locations across Florida and always have the same unfortunate experience of being ignored. I see all these middle-aged and older women shopping around me and each of them are greeted by the staff and offered assistance. Not once has an employee at Macy's ever greeted me, offered me help or even acknowledged my existence. I understand I look like I am 16 because I have such a baby face, but this should not matter anyway. It always feels like the employees see me as a young kid who can't possibly afford to shop at their store so they focus on their older customers who they are confident will purchase something. I have ATTEMPTED to shop at Macy's over and over again, willing to spend $200-$400 on their top notch apparel and even sometimes bring my friends along. Each time, I feel so unappreciated as a customer and straight up embarassed that I end up just leaving the store. I guess the moral of the story is that neither me, nor my friends, will be making the attempt to shop with Macy's if they cannot appreciate us as customers despite our age. You never know who makes a decent paycheck and is willing to spend a fortune with your company over their lifetime. I just know it won't be me or my friends because we have given far too many chances to Macy's. Some day, all of their older customers are going to die and all that will be left is the younger generation they continue to ignore.

I've always hated Macy's, but I ordered a pair of boots from them last month because I couldn't find my size anywhere else. The boots did not fit--weren't even close!--so I sent them back and waited, and waited, and waited for my refund. Two weeks after tracking stated the package had been delivered to them, I get a gift card in the mail! A GIFT CARD?!?!? Man, I was HOT. I never asked for a frigging gift card. So I called their "customer service" (I use that term loosely) number and navigated their unbelievably aggravating phone tree and finally got someone on the line, who hung up on me almost immediately. Called back. Same thing. Called back a third time. Same thing. And I hadn't gotten three words out of my mouth, so it couldn't have been because of anything I said. Then I logged on to my Macys account online and discovered that for some reason my entire order history was gone. I'd made only that one purchase in 2015, but that one was gone, as were all my orders from previous years. WTF? I can't reach anyone without the line going dead. So I'm stuck with this damned card that I don't want to spend at their awful stores (the State Street store here in Chicago is an unspeakable dump), and no way to get my money back. I am so damned pissed. I've said it before, but this time I mean it: NO MORE MACYS.

Had the WORST experience purchasing a VERY expensive TempurPedic mattress from Macy's. When we were deciding on a mattress, we visited Macy's physical locations several times, no one helped us. Okay, fine. So we decide on a mattress and purchase it online. A few days later, we were contacted by the Sales Department to add a Value Protection Liner for $160 ($186.91 after tax) to maintain the warranty. We were advised that Macy's would replace this liner if it ever got stained or ripped. I agreed to this charge and provided a new card number for that transaction.
When the mattress was delivered about a week later, it arrived by itself with no liner. I immediately called Macy's to ask what happened to the liner. They told me it was never ordered (okay….) because the previous person had not fully submitted it when I spoke to her the week before. So I ONCE AGAIN placed the order with that salesperson, who proceeded to charge me TWICE for this mattress liner (so $186.91, twice). I was advised that the first charge would fall off, because it was in error, and the liner would arrive in a few days. I requested email confirmation, but never received one. So once again, on the following Monday (I paid the previous Friday) I followed up with Macy's to make sure things were set up correctly this time. Of course, they were not. I was advised on this call that the ordered was CANCELLED because the card was declined (how?!? When I was charged?!?) and now they can no longer honor the Value Protection offer because it's been too long since the delivery. What?!?
So now I've been waiting almost a week to get my money back for a product I'm never going to receive. The "manager" was so rude, literally said "I'm sure you can find another mattress liner". I am absolutely incensed. Our mattress was more than $4000. Macy's is still holding the charges under "pending" so my bank will not release the funds back to me. I have quite literally been stolen from. And at this point I'm considering pressing charges. Will NEVER use Macy's again.

Don't. The customer service is absolutely awful. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else.
