This auction site is the best one I have ever joined! Winning definitely happens and if you don't win you can use your bids as credits towards the end purchase of your desired item. Shipments are ultra fast too!
I purchased a product from them on action got no where with management ask for a corporate address so i could go to court there reply was its on there sight but there is none listed just a bunch of warehouses for action. They are very deceiving company they tell you product worth 300 and i saved 70 % gave measurements on add nothing was correct sold me a box of scrap for 120.00 look at pics and discretion of product all i got was a box of bolts and parts total rip off.
This site got some good reviews written all over internet about how to win at mad bid and all, many of the reviews tell you to enable auto bid. That is one sure way to loose all money. There is no guarantee that you win even with auto bid. There are many people constantly bidding. I nearly lost 300$ before I realise I cannot win. Stay away.
It's the worst site in terms of user experience post placing a order.
The order never gets shipped even after paying the full payment.
It has been over a month following them up, but have never recieved any orders till date
For me it is like a gambling website, but because of the Earned Discount it compensate. I think most of the users who signed up do not read how to play! They get angry for no reasons or they lack of reading the TC. I do not always win, to win an item it also has to do with luck. Luckily I can purchase items on the website with my Earned Discount!
I got scammed by buying 500 credits for 49.99 Pounds and started clicking on auction to bid. After hardly 10 minutes, received message that I have run out of credit and buy more credit to bid. Lost 49.99. What a fool am I and feel ashamed of myself to come into scammers trap like that and did not win anything in the end.
1. The bidding process is designed to deplete credits without an outcome
2. Try to withdraw your money - almost impossible
3. It is an auction (ha ha) which if you participate depletes your account.
4. No guarantee that the auction will have a successful bidder
5. Participating from Australia - forget it - check the freight / postage costs before you consider bidding
I love it!
Won few auctions, and bought a few (many!) credits!
It is all about pacing yourself, know your spending limits, and you'll be sweet!
Also, whatever you invest in credits, will be there for you to use...
Tip for consumers:
pace yourself, spend what you can afford!
Just a quick note to say that the customer service of MadBid is fantastic! In particular Sharon in the Customer Service team is great, very efficient and fair when dealing with queries.
Makes using MadBid a joy to know that there are real people on hand that quickly deal with your queries.
Keep it up
If u look and read the 5 star and positive reviews they repeat themselves... Madbid is great if u know a understand what your doing... There customer service is second to none... Ha ha obviously written by madbid or under there instructions...
Unfortunately this site is a scam you will never win anything and to make matters worse each time you bid and don't win you loose credits unlike a real auction where if you bid and loose it doesn't cost you anything. So if you want to spend some money give it to a worthy cause.
You also going to see positive comments about this site... they probably work for the madbid... don't be fooled... keep your cash
I have used MadBid and the only thing I have won has been a couple of credit packages. I was bidding on an iPad and a few times I was the last bidder and it said 'checking'. It stayed like that for about 5 minutes before coming up with someone else's name saying the same thing and seeing my bid about 5 bids down! I actually wonder if the winners are real tbh! I feel like my money was wasted on something that they have no intention of providing.
Bidding on madbid is really funny. When I won CANON 1200D kit as my first auction at $30, I really surprised. I recommend madbid to everyone who want some fun in their life. The small drawback in madbid is delivery of the product. It's taking more time than we expect.
Madbid is cheat site. In their promo they haven't mentioned that it will cost to place a bid. Never go for it. They charge you for every bid and even I have observed very minutely that many times when deal was finalizing it again started even after completion of timer. There is no truth and business in this site. I am going to raise complaints against it in authority They have mentioned that it cost to place bid in terms terms and conditions in in tiny section of very extensive page.
I like the fact that this website combines both a game experience (the auctions) with a shopping one (the online shop they have). The Earned Discount makes me feel like I have not lost my spent credits.
One advice to new users: make sure to understand how the website works before taking part in the auctions.
It has a credit system makes you think you got money for nothing. This is called in-game currency and shows that they couldn't give less of a $#*! who they got their money from as its impossible to get your money back!
I have tried so many times to win the item. It seems like someone is manipulating the system not allowing you to win. I have seen so many times that someone(could be fake internal bidder) wins on lowest price straight away once you missed to bid. As soon as you start, it goes on and on, never let you win. At one stage on one item, no one was bidding after my bid, but system kept checking after the zero count until someone put their bid after 2-3 minutes later, and did not let me win even after auction timer went zero for 2-3 minutes. My connection to Internet was 3G and quite quick as I was able to see other auctioned item updating quickly on the same time.
This sort of incident happened for few times and only way it can be described as SCAM.
I have won a number of items from Madbid over the years but recently I received one that was not working. The after sales service was extremely courteous and helpful. After following the guidelines I received by email I very quickly received a replacement item which I am delighted with.
I suspected it to b scam n m proved right thru reviews on the net
Its simple why would anyone giveaway things cheap and also have all its reviews under consideration on the webpage which leads you to happy beneficiaries? This is obviously true about all shady businesses where there will be false happy reviews planted under fake names by themselves. Sharing credit card details etc could certainly be more troublesome. Theres one more somebody who keeps sending SMS saying you have won a million dollars and stuff. Actully earlier conmen would stalk streets. Especially tourist places. And esp in mysore the police doesn't heed such complaints too...? Shocking
The Guardian just did an article on it. They found it impossible to 'win'a bid cheaper than the rrp. In fact it works out much more expensive. And of course if you don't 'win' u lose your money.
They also couldn't find or verify any of those people promoted as getting good for a faction of their value.
Many of the people who have their money taken on this site are vulnerable. Its the moral equivelent of robbing little old ladies.
Of course it's a scam! There is a sure fire and totally error free method of identifying any scam: does it sound too good to be true? Answer - "yes" = scam. 100% of the time, NO EXCEPTIONS.
I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. Soon as I saw the ads for Madrid it screamed scam immediately. They might as well flashed that word across the screen throughout the whole advert it was that obvious.
What amazes me is the amount of idiots who fall for it! Honestly, some people shouldn't be allowed out. That's how they make their money of course.
The madbid is looting new usets, both poor and rich, whenever someone logging it, they say to buy credits, so people buy these as they think that they will buy something at very chaep rates with these credits. But this site is big fraud, madbid has mad a loot of billions $ every year and all money is being earned by madbid is not legal. They did same with me and robbed my $60. I request you to make surrounding people aware of its frauds.
Thanks.
Unclear how it works even the demo fails to mention if you don't win auction you still lose credits. I lost $89 and have nothing to show for it. When the auction ends it hasn't just gone for that price but also the credits bought to bid. It may not technically be a scam but I'll call it a SCAM just the same.
Hello, I have met Madbid for a few months now. Madbid actually did not meet my expectations directly. The reason is not that I can not win any prize. I followed the bids to the end. Even if I did not offer anyone else at one time, my polish did not result. I do not know why it happened. I wish I could win a new gift. If you can not win, there's no point in being here. I wish you a good day.
The idea that it's easy to pick up an easy bargain on this auction site is a folks errands and this week I was that fool. Significantly too, getting a refund is obfuscated by a round in circles website. To those who've picked up a deal well done, to the rest of us, buyer beware.
Save your money what we should do is get a bus full of people and visit there offices as they are nothing but conning b*****ds take your your money and give you nothing for it do not give these conmen nothing
Tip for consumers:
don't use this site
You can win products at discounted prices if you are prepared to invest a little to understand how the site works first. Once you know what to look for, you just have to be patient and bid at the right time.
