This auction site is the best one I have ever joined! Winning definitely happens and if you don't win you can use your bids as credits towards the end purchase of your desired item. Shipments are ultra fast too!
I purchased a product from them on action got no where with management ask for a corporate address so i could go to court there reply was its on there sight but there is none listed just a bunch of warehouses for action. They are very deceiving company they tell you product worth 300 and i saved 70 % gave measurements on add nothing was correct sold me a box of scrap for 120.00 look at pics and discretion of product all i got was a box of bolts and parts total rip off.
Pure and simple! One big scam and we do not tolerate this in England so your days are numbered scammers!
Recently started using mad bid and it is fun, a brilliant alternative to the boring high street and online stores.
I'm usually always suspicious when something seems too good to be true, but i gave it still a shot because of their deal buy 1 Package get 3 Gratis! With 34.99 € I bought 290 MadBid Credits + Bonus of 870 = 1160 Credits. So i started strategically by bidding on Credit Auction for 1950 (Worth RRP 234.99€ and i Won it with just 300 Credits and the cost was 5,09€ + ridiculous shipping of 1,99€ for virtual goods... I didn't have much money left on my account, because i helped my Parents out. But nevertheless you have 48H left till the payment must be don, after you have won an item! So the next day i went to my Bank and filled my Bank Account. I wanted to pay the won item for 7,08€ but i couldn't! When i tried to pay for it something came up "This Auction has already been paid" there was still 24h left till the Won item expires if you don't pay!
Stay away from this clever bidding(Gamble) scam.
Update: I contacted MadBid via Telephone Service, and really to speak on their behalf. They fixed this problem, it was some sort of payment transaction problem etc. so i got the 1950 Credits for 7€. Just to clarify things, but still i'm not sure if they are using Bots/Scripts to manipulate the Auctions. Because sometimes I see some strange Usernames and they are everywhere mhmmm
Would'nt believe it till I tried it myself and won an item. Treat it as a "Pass Time", you might win something whilst enjoying the buzz of bidding!
Looking at this site they offer you loads of offers when i refused to put my credit card details in and now after looking at reviews no chance

I have seen many penny auction sites but there is some kind of hidden rules and regulations which came in your knowledge when you got stuck and there is no chance of getting out from there except you have to lose something in lieu of. But MADBID is totally transparent to their clients and their terms and conditions are straightforward, so no chance of making mistake by the customer.
I'm registered on this site for almost more than half a year. And their customer care is so cordial to their customers and time bound for providing the help.
Know the most important thing about any penny auction site are their products genuinity and the delivery of their products in promised time.
I really appreciate their fairness and transparency in the business.
I would definately reccomend this auction site to be joined. Just give them a chance to serve you and then result speaks itselfs. Within My circle there are more than 20 friends who are attached with this site and used to appreciate it always we have a get together.
MADBID really makes you MAD about it.
So, join it today and start having a lot of fun and go really MAAAAAAAAAD...
Tip for consumers:

CHEERS..................
Stay away from this site and company you can pour hundreds and thousands into bidding on something you have very little chance of winning like 0.1%
I am very confident it is a scam to get money out from your pockets... so beware. Better buy it from amazon or other legal sites.

Madbid is a site that can be trusted. I won and received a laptop. Even the delivery was fast. Bidding on Madbid.com is fun.
Madbid is a con you never win bids all your doing is giving them money for nothing they should be ashamed of them selves
I was pleasantly surprised when I won a dyson vacuum. I'll be using it to clean up after my christmas party. Merry christmas everyone
Everything besides the towels was damaged. The fees where more than 2 puchases. Expect at least 6.00 per order if you spend below 15.
Tip for consumers:

Tip for consumers:
Stay away!
At first I have not believed in it but then I won many items so cheap.
Thanks Madbid for making my many days.
Really wish I'd done some digging before I signed up to this site, what a con!
I didn't realise as it doesn't explain it during sign up that you are only purchasing the credits that allow you to bid, I thought I was buying credit that you then used to pay for bids you had won!
I bid on 100credits that I won for 1p and thought it would just take the cost off the credit I had just purchased but no, I was then sent to an invoice where they expect me to pay 50p with real money, 1p bid and 49p postage (yet another con) so after doing some research I realised that no I had not purchase credit to spend but credit to bid!
After I realised what I had done I emailed them straight away asking for a refund and to close my account, but of course no they don't do refunds and I was then informed I have to use my credits within 180 days or I loose them! (yet another con!)
So I can quite honestly say I feel a right tool for falling for this total con and will in future make sure I do a great deal of research before parting with any more money!
Quickly resolved a faulty part query by promptly sending in a spare part without hesitation or question
Top-rated after sales service :))
Madbid is a good website were you can get some expensive things for a low price.
My experience was good, I won a kitchenware for about $39USD(including the credits I need to expend). Madbid encourage its winners to share their experience in exchange of some free credits (that´s why you may see a lot of reviews saying than they have won).
Here are some points that Madbid could improve:
* They are not exactly a bidding place. Madbid is more like a place were you bet when all the people interested on a product will ran out of credits or they are not interested anymore. So, they can change this to make a more accurate description and avoid scam accusations.
* Include more products. They can include things like hardware tools, washers, microwave, blenders, ovens. Also they include iMac computers but they don't have PC's that really overtakes them like gamer laptops (ASUS, MSI, Alienware)
* They could have some regional/limited "auctions" to increase the possibility to win for some unlucky users or frequent users that have won that privilege.
Here are some points if you want to take a chance at Madbid:
* Don´t expect to win the first time. It is not impossible but it takes some time to understand the dynamic and way of work of Madbid.
* Expend your credits wisely, learn to say "Stop" if you already wasted a lot of credits and you just can´t won that auction, there will be more.
* You must have in mind that not all the money you expend buying credits will be lost. Madbid will give you some money back when you expend credits on an auction and didn't won. So, if you are going after a product you can try to won an auction and get it a lot cheaper or, lost some money (about 20% - 30%) trying to won an auction and then buy something in Madbid with the money that Madbid gives you back each time you don't win an auction.
Hope this helps.

* Not all the money you expend buying credits is lost. If you don't win an auction Madbid gives you back about 70% - 80% of your money so you can buy something exclusively in Madbid.

I too was sucked in without realising you had to pay to bid. No info about this on the sign up page or the fact that they will keep your money if you do not spend it.
After some pressure they have now agreed to refund my money, see below.

Well based on these errible reviews, i decided not to join and sign up for this site, as it look dodge and fraudlent guys
Every bid is as competitive as it should be. Have been following the bids for some time now and have been very exited to be a an active bidder.
I am very satisfied and checking the website everyday!
I also won several times.
It was very profitable for me.
I was sucked in to this by what appeared to be a newspaper article, suggesting great bargains to be had in an auction. I believed the bargains to be true based on what I thought was buying power (foolish in hindsight, before the backlash!), and I was aware that products could be purchased using the money spent on credits if the auction wasn't won.
I have since seen numerous reviews, following my own experience of watching the continuation of an auction I was bidding in, and could see that it stopped with a list of other apparent bidders still in the list (looked as though they were autobidders). I had already given up due to the fact it had reached maximum price, but was using up all of my credits and would have ended up costing me more than RRP!
Clearly there were bots set up in the background to inspire bidding (research mentioned on other sites has highlighted this), and my credits were converted into "earned discount" which can be spent on any of the products listed, apparently at a discounted price, which are all above the prices I have found on the Internet by the way.
There is a refund policy in place, which states that any unused items which are returned within 14 days will be refunded in full. What it doesn't state, and was discovered by making a phone call, and not in the emailed reply I received from the customer service manager when I asked the question, was that the refund comes in the form of "earned discount", which is effectively a credit note. This is a guarantee that our hard earned cash is going to be spent on their over priced goods, which are limited in choice.
There appears to be pretty much no chance of winning an auction unless you have inside information as a techno boffin (no disrespect intended), and as a mere genuine mortal, we are basically filling their bank account with interest earning cash, with which we are entitled to buy over priced products within 365 days.
It really is time that this outfit was removed from any association with the organisations we put our trust in, such as paypal, and the newspapers with which they clearly post their own adverts to look like articles which are supported.
Tip for consumers:
Don't!!
Thanks you for your comments Amanda, I hope our discussions have helped.
STAY AWAY - They have heir own staff bidding against you. YOU HAVE NO CHANCE. Don't waste YOUR MONEY. I heard they are under secret investigation so you heard it here first
