I've been using Match for about two years and I must say I'm very pleased with their service. They have a large user base, and the website is simple to navigate. I was looking for a relationship but didn't want to get hurt again, so I tried online dating sites. In my opinion, Match Online Dating Sites is by far the best online dating site. They have many users from all over the world who are very friendly and easygoing!
Match, "customer service", does not communicate. I was banned from Match due to something that my ex-wife did on their site. I had to investigate this. Match refused to investigate. They claim the right to ban without explanation. Ok Cupid is owned by Match. I was banned on Ok Cupid, as well. I had to contact my bank to have my fees reversed. They'll even try to keep your money.
Disgusting and despicable site. They make multi-million profit on scamming people and milking them for money. They are thieves. Fake profiles, fake likes and messages - they just want to entice you to pay, but then nothing happens, no more messages. Big shout out to people: stop being fooled by Tinder, they are money grabbers! They just make you go round and round in circles wasting your precious time and money. This site just doesn't work and gives zero results. The only result is some money out of your pocket down the drain.

I never met anyone who wasn't a creep. Most of the people on match are using someone else's profile and are not even real. They do not even check to see if people are real. I cancelled and they kept charging me for over a year. I was dealing with some serious health issues and was not paying attention to my credit card bills as all my bills were on autopay. When I called them they would only refund the last 2 payments. They said they could tell I hadn't been using it since I cancelled but would not refund the rest of my money. Match really sucks!

I didn't even complete my profile - determined that Match.com just sends me anything they think I might like. And after one day - I opted OUT of any emails and deleted my profile. Yet they still keep sending me crap. And I mean CRAP - complete SPAM from out of area. No NO NO!

This site is a complete fraud. Most of the profiles do not even exist. None of the messages get through to the subscriber. DO NOT JOIN! Absolute garbage. I intend to contact a lawyer to start a class action against them to expose their fraudulant scheme!

6 separate times I received emails from Match indicating I had a message, when I followed the link there was nothing there. Numerous calls to customer services, only to learn they really had no idea, but assumed it was fake profiles. No helpful. Today I received another email, nothing there. Contacted CS, and they sent me to a website that wanted my credit card information to CHARGE ME to fix the situation, WTH.

Don’t join, once they have your money, they won’t help you.

I called them saying i got a offer for %74 off they told me the offer was from a site they dont deal with. The site is a scam all it is a joke same people on match. Are on pof.com
match.com said they offer %25 off hahah what a joke charge you $150 plus tax they aren't a ny based company i dont know how they charging tax.

I got a Groupon deal to try them for a month for $15.00, which is the only reason I signed up at the time. Knowing I would not be able to afford the $45.00 for the next month, I canceled my account about 3 weeks before the renewal so that I would not be charged. However, they charged my card and when I tried to dispute it they would not work with me. I had that money earmarked for prescriptions I needed, which due to a glitch on their end, I was not able to get. In the month I was with them, I did not get one response. On other "FREE" websites, I get lots of matches. They advertise how great they are and how free they are, but it is all bull.
Tip for consumers:
Keep moving on to other websites. Match.com is not worth your time or money! And they have horrible customer service.

Recently I understood that I'm too lone person. I have no friends almost, just couple of such ones and anyway we meet each other not so often as I want to. So, I have decided to apply to specialized service where I could find a soulmate, a person who I can chat day n night and I will be interested in this conversation. I applied here because it seemed to me that it's quite a huge dating platform where all people can find theri soulmates. Fortunately, everything was okay I found a soulmate and now we're chating all day long. Soo, I guess we will meet. Thanks to this paltform.

Biggest scam ever thought it was a one off payment of 44 pound for one month. You don't you end up on auto renewal. Try to cancel on doesn't happen online many times thought I successed I was wrong. Another 44 pound out of the bank. Had to phone up when I notice the 44 was still coming out of my bank. No refund and they claim i hadnt attempt to stop the subscription. Don't join!

In less than 2 months on the site I received 16 false profiles that I had to report. Users fraudently taking a profile that was not their own to lure you in. Most profiles were widowers looking for widows. Said they had been widowed for 5 or 7 years, their wife died of cancer or her and their son had been killed in a car accident in Germany. Descriptions of themselves changed regularly from what they posted and what they said in their messsges. I am so sick of these scammers that I will NOT renew my subscription. It took all of the joy out of the process, only to learn that the person you thought you were getting to know was only there to take advantage of you. Match needs to protect/block/protect the accounts of its users so that they are unable to have their accounts hacked by would be thieves.

I called in an cancelled my subscription because I couldn't remember my password to cancel it online and was stil charged an auto renew for six months. When I called to correct this, they were extremely rude and would not remove the charge. This site is extremely hard to get out of being charged for. Do not sign up!

The bill you even if you cancel your subscription or update your account to not auto renew. They even have record of you updating to not auto renew but will make an excuse as to why you are still billed. They will make up a reasons for it. You need to call your credit card company and have them block their changes once you cancel. Please do not trust calling them or canceling your account on line or on the phone, even if you have the name of the person.

Found the site to be extremely thin on active members and as such decided to cancel within the 14 day cooling off period but the account settings wouldnt let me cancel. The FAQ section said you need to email them to cancel but dont give an email address to use, eventually found an email address and emailed to cancel but they have refused to refund me and have charged me £180 in total for something that I don't want!
Sneaky and unscrupulous, please avoid like the plague! There are other free dating sites like POF and OKcupid, dont be fooled into thinking that you get what you pay for and that match.com is any better because it isnt!

So if you sign up for the 6 month guarentee make sure you send at least 5 emails a month so that you can get your money back, even if there are not people on there worthy to send emails to. Horrible experience! Don't waste your money!

Their auto-renewal is a scam and a way to charge you more! I canceled my auto-renewal, and they didn't, and they will not send you an email to charge your credit card. The next thing I know, they charged my CC for $159. The worse customer service I have ever experienced.

VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER... The site offers a smaller monthly rate to do more months. Not aloud a refund after wanting to canx the 1st month? They entice with a lessor monthly rate for more months, but cannot get a refund if the site is not for you and/or you find a match early. Why can't they revert the price back to the 1 month rate and refund my money for months not used? Here is a Hypothetical under their current policy. Let's say you pay for a two year rate and find a match early and want to canx. You are charged the two years for the match. Whereas if we go month-to-month on original rate. You end paying way less when you find a match or just want to quit. This is a bad business practice and needs to be reported the appropriate gov agency and write many many reviews telling folks not to use your site. And if they do please only go month to month because it will cost less in the long run. WATCH OUT...

I signed up for a one month membership, as I've had decent experiences w/ Match in the past. However, they charged me for a 3 month membership. As soon as I realized - approx 3 days after joining - I emailed and told them to give me a refund. It's a $48 difference, and I didn't budget for that. They said since I had sent emails, they could not refund me. They gave me $20 back, but that's not good enough! I told them I just want the difference back - but they still refused. I'm so sick of corrupt $ practices online. Is there nothing we can do?
I canceled my membership completely today. I have no access, even for the month.
Also, while they would not refund me, they cut my membership back to one month - wtf?

DO NOT PAY THEM ANYTHING!!! Go to a free site or at least a site with honest business practices.

I used match for 3 months. It was an ok experience other than the fake matches who would try to reach out. At the end of my 3 month subscription I decided I did not want to continue. The day my subscription expired I was charged an additional $78. When i spoke to someone at match they claimed I was setup on auto renew, when I know for an absolute fact I was not. I tried to cancel it the day it renewed and they would not allow it. The women I spoke to was rude and told me to deal with it. I may have tried again in the future, but not anymore. I do not reccomend it to anyone!

I sighed up for this site because I thought I could meet a women on here. I also joined because my mom found her significant other on here. I sighed up and filled out my profile. Added a profile picture. Payed for the site. I choose the cheapest membership there was. I started messaging women and the that peaked my interest. None of them responded. I read there profiles and say that many of them were not looking for a guy like me. Most of them wanted a guy that was much taller than them and from the same ethnicity as them. So I did not meet most of the my matches criterias. None of the women I messaged responded back. Some of them I gave my phone number to in the message in case they could not respond to any messages. I never received a phone call or text message from them. So this site get zero stars if I could give zero stars. Also the memberships here are too expensive.

I got match for a trial to try it out. Realized almost a year later they had been charging my account $65 a month when I hadn't used the account or know I was being charged for it. I called to ask them to check to confirm I had not used the account for a year and they confirmed and would not refund ANY money. Absolutely horrible customer service. I would NEVER recommend match to anyone.

I cancelled my account well before my renewal date but never knew I needed a confirmation email after the site told me that my account is cancelled and wouldn't charge me again. I tried to remove my credit card number off the site as I had a gut feeling they may charge me even if I cancelled, but no luck. Well today they charged me $160! I called to complain and it was the Phillipines. They read off script and will not refund you and when you are adamant you cancelled they hang up on you. I advise anyone trying to close their match account to make sure to cancel the credit card number they have on file well before the date of renewal. You will never get your money back!

Not good site, charges, and costly to not meet good people. Saw a guy I was scammed by on the site. Reported to have him removed. He is still there. This site may work for others, but not for me. Please, be careful. Match.com is on a site listing of not be a good site.

Easy to incurr extrra expense after original sign-up. Keep getting requested to sign up when I already have signed up, and not even close to end of time period. Signed up for a month at approx $30.00 and Match keeps up the pressure to spend more and more, Hard enuff dealing with the ladies while at the same time vulnerable due to hormones generated while on the prowl.
