A waste of money. If you are a minority, short of stature and poor, you will be more poor when you pay for a membership. No real women ever answered my messages.

I joined Match for free as their offer suggested and revived messages from people that I thought were interested in me in one week so I joined. It cost approx $90 for 3 months (the minimum I was allowed). So after Match took my $90 I realized that my account had been "hacked". I knew this because the original messages I received were fraudulent! People sent me messages to Never contact them and they would report me and even my account sent sexually promiscuous messages! I noticed when my account had been "upgraded" and I received an email. All this within the first week of service. However Match would not accept responsibility and refund my money nor would they create a different account for me. They would only close that account which obviously I had no other choice. The thing is they knew from the start that the original messages sent to me were fraudulent. I thought Match was a legitimate company! The whole experience was so degrading since my pictures were connected to my account and I could run into someone some day that I apparently sent hundreds of fraudulent messages to. Watch oit!

Match: Do not use this service. The matches are not legitimate. Impossible to contact customer service. Difficult to unsubscribe. Run don't walk away from this site.

THEY AUTO RENEW YOU EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE CANCELLED! IT IS A TERRIBLE SITE AND IT DOES NOT WORK! I cancelled and they still charged my card... please do not use this site! The Customer Care is the worst I have ever experienced and they don't care what happens to you! They are fakes and frauds and I will now have to cancel my card so they cannot use it again! DON"T DO IT!

Pretty good. Lots of serious people on the site. Maybe a few scammers but that's normal.

Girls get tons of attention from guys, so it's hard for guys, but the people on the site are real

2 scammers were sent to me from Match.com: One got in touch with me via his fake niece at Match.com who gave me his email. We got very involved and eventually he, Paul Goodrich, received a laptop from me (purchased at Best Buy) and sent to him via Fed Ex to Dubai. His was supposedly stolen there at immigration. Although promised, he never refunded me. He sent me a Wells Fargo spread sheet which I took to Wells Fargo, and it was similar to theirs but fake. Plus, there was no Paul Goodrich customer at any of their banks. The other scammer, who contacted me first and said he was in Salt Lake, Utah, knew Paul was fake and told me so. BUT, he, too, promising to be by my side, sent me an extensive note about himself. It was clear from his writing that he was fake, too. He obviously was not an English speaker, tho' he said he was born in Michigan. His email is '*******@yahoo.com." I am out about $2000, had to close my bank account and open a new one. I cancelled my subscription in less than 3 weeks from joining and Match.com will not provide me a refund. I think match.com should credit what I paid and quit sending me more 'matches'. Summary: I subscribed to Match.com and it does what it says. It matches you with people. Unfortunately, it does not seem to do a good job matching you with people you will be compatible with. Not to mention IF you happen to find someone you want to talk toyou probably cant. Even if you are a subscribing ($$$) member, non-members cannot communicate with you. To add insult to injury, there is no indication that a person you are sending a message to is a member or not. So a majority of your time may be sent sending hopeless messages. Ive had much more success on FREE apps. I should have done more research I do not recommend.
Additional Review: I tried to cancel my subscription because I was not happy that I was told I could send messages to anyone but non-members could not reply UNLESS I paid extra. The policies this company implements are clearly geared to keep the truth in the shadows: most profiles are non-members. When asked what percentage of profiles were members customer service quoted that it was against company policy to reveal this fact. Not a good sign. Ive probably wasted the last month sending messages to people who cannot reply.

Offered a 'special rate" if I wanted to continue, but when I tried to renew subscription rate seemed to disappear seemed a classic low life "bait and switch"

I'm reluctant to write reviews but my last review of Gagamatch saved thousands of people from be hurt or scammed for money.

Match.com wow what piece of work? It is very expensive for male membership even after you pay the fees. Your are asked for additional fees because the lady's can't read your emails unless you pay for this service as well.

One lady asked why cant I read other emails I explained about the men most pay a lot. I found again that big majority of ladies on Match are paid by Match to talk to men. If your this type of man there are plenty of call lines. Myself I just prefer real love one on one call old fashion. Also this excellent hunting grounds for would be preditor women looking for money and a good time.

The other discovery I made was that the women talk to each other on match, odd I thought they are looking for a man. I found that as my 6 month membership neared expiration I told a couple of women that I was not going to renew. I was texting them also emailing outside Match but I watched their communications slow and stop the same time as my membership.

Ladies and gentlemen I think that people going to these sites most are genuine and looking for love romance and relationship it's wrong to use these sites to scam people mess with their emotions all for money? Please take avice stay away from Match.com

MATCH.COM IS A HAVEN & A HOTSPOT FOR SCAMMERS. Match.com will take your money, throw you into a shark tank of scammers & they will procrastinate on doing an investigation or questioning anyone who is suspicious. Stay away from MATCH.COM - it's not worth it.

It will not let me in my password does not work but they took my money scam. Wow not even 6 hours and the site sucks.

Match.com's customer service is completely inflexible and not helpful at all. They refuse to work on you on any kind of subscription refund or any kind of credit towards your current subscription.

Signed up for the one month paid subscription, looked at matches every day for a month, sometimes messaging multiple girls a day. Never got a single bite.

I tried to do the 3 day trial to see if I wanted to sign up and they automatically sign me up without me being able to do the trial. And that will give me my money back. And I've never used a service

Its a well developed site but not charges are too much, very bad sites like any other, it has an inviting look but dont doubt it, its has bad as any other dating site

This site has been a useful tool for me to meet people I wouldn't normally run into. I've gone on about 5 or 6 dates with people from match and they all looked exactly as they posted. They were also genuine in that they're personalities were pretty much as they were described. I never really ended up clicking with any of them, but that's not any different than regular dating. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I'm not sure what people are talking about with "fake winks" or scam artists. It might just be that they have low self esteem and dismiss a wake as being real. I can personally say I've never seen a fake profile on match, and quite frankly they have such a huge number of subscribers that it would be a waste of their time and money to do so. Most of the people that complain about this site would complain about any dating site. Put another way, if you aren't someone people would like to date going on a dating website won't change that.

Match is great for searching for what you really want and being able to preview a person before you make any contact. I also tried eharmony and I didn't really like that site. They would match me with a few people that I really had no interest in. That is where I think match has an advantage in that it allows the user to customize the site to the way they want it to be.

More and more advertisements - all match.com cares about is match.com itself, and the money it receives from its paying members - it clearly doesn't care about the members themselves

I bought six months and got one message, I messaged her back and never got a response. I got another six months free with nothing happening. Waste of money.

If you're interested in a hookup then this is the site for you. Every man on this site is looking for a hookup and nothing more.

Automatic renewals with no warning. No choice of disputing the charge with them. No luck changing from a 6 month to a 1 month subscription. No communication with them whatsoever.

It is a total fraud! Absolutely! They take your money without you noticing. They won't even warn you when you hide your profile. It is indeed a fraud!

Crappy experience. Signed up on the site, spent half an evening filling in account info, looking for appropriate pics to upload etc, paid for a 3 month subscription plan straight up ($70) - only to find out in the morning that my account had been blocked. I reached out to customer service, who told me that it would be best for the match.com community to eliminate my profile - and they referred me to the terms of use, so I would work out myself what I had done wrong. I reread the stupid rules again, unable to understand why I was charged and blocked. Customer service told me this time that there are plenty of scammers on match.com from my part of the world (eastern europe) and that's why it's in the best interests of the "community" to keep me out. Why the f*** charge me and let me register in the first place? I asked specifically which provision of the terms of use i violated - and was told that i need to hire a legal rep in order to sort this out. I was one very angry and helpless ukrainain girl. So, i was refused a refund - but the money - thank god - was returned to my bank account in a couple of days. Never ever am i doing this internet thing again.
