Order a kitchen cabinet's from the Livonia, Michigan store and the order was missing several items. One ordering the over the range cabinet it was discussed how unusual there was no microwave and therefore a longer height cabinet was required. Received a microwave cabinet so we had to return it to the store to get the correct cabinet. Another lower cabinet was a 3 bank of drawers, with all 3 a different size. It was missing the center drawer. Back to the store again. They then stated we were trying to get a free drawer. They were given the response of "why would we want a drawer with no cabinet". After going back and forth they finally gave us the missing drawer. Another cabinet had a pull trash with an interior drawer. This cabinet was missing all parts for the drawer. Another cabinet was a 90" tall pantry with 6 shelves. This was delivered open, missing the top, bottom, shelves and feet. So essentially it had 2 sides and the doors, but nothing else. We had ordered a large finish panel to cover the sides of the cabinets. The cabinet installer used this panel to construct a top and bottom, which costs us more installation fees. However the finish panel was 3/4" thick and the pantry back would have been 1/2" thick. And because the feet were missing there was no toe kick area, causing a large gap at the ceiling. Finally having enough we went back to the store where the Store Director, Mr. Beater. HE WOULD NOT GIVE US ANY REFUND OR REPLACE THE MISSING ITEMS. He told us to have the contractor uninstall the trash cabinet and pantry, return it and they would order replacements. Our response is "you want us to incur additional costs by having the installer uninstaller, return the items and wait for delivery to the store and have him reinstall them"? His response was yes. We were told by the manager that if they refunded all the items missing or damaged from orders then the store would go bankrupt.
I went in there as a single woman and asked for assistance and had to wait 20 minutes before anyone could come and help me and then I asked him to help me cut these metals for my carpet and they said no. The customer service says we sell your projects we don't do your projects. I considered that very rude
I go to purchase 6 pieces of OSB 3/4" T& G. Way at back of store. The 200 day no sand. The store clerk tells me I have to order it none in stock. Ok I tell him give me 500 day no sand osb which cost $8 more a sheet. Get my order go to front of store pay. She tells go around back, the security guard tells me go in line call # for service and they'll help you. Nobidy answered phone or came. Final I get outta my truck to look for someone. Guy comes he tell me go inside that building to get my sheets of osb. Get inside nobody at all around to help. I realize I see 4 stacks of the less expensive osb. The guy finallly shows up. I tell him this is what I really wanted. He tells me go all the way back inside get a return, go all the way to the back of the store reorder go check out, go all the way around back start the same process over with security guard. I said no thanks just get me outta here. Load my 6 sheets proceed to leave past the security guard and she checks my paperwork and looks at the sheets in back of truck to make sure It was correct then ask me to roll my back windows down in truck to make sure I wasnt stealing anything. Now 25 min later I had the more expensive wood and total feeling like a humiliatingThief. The worse experience getting wood ever at a big box store. NEVER WILL I GO TO MENARDS AGAIN. MENARDS SUCKS. Thank you for Lowes and Home Depot.
I was looking to buy a recliner, they had one in their Black Friday ad. I asked the guy if they would load it and tie it down and he said yes. So when I went to have it loaded the guy used a forklift to put it in my truck. First mistake was he left the pallet under it.then I asked him if it needed tied down and he said no its good. Had he said it did I would have but he said it was ok. So less then 2 miles on the highway it blows out and breaks on the side of the road. I called them and they said too bad but not their problem. Horrible customer service and lies to you to make the sale.
Bought a washer at Menards with a 5 year protection plan. Allstate apparently pawned this warranty off to some no name company called Amynta afterwards. They sent a tech out a few times and never fixed it. Now they're saying it exceeded their limit and they're no longer liable. I'm upset with Allstate for not sticking to their agreement. I have to buy a new washer (and dryer so they match) even though I have a warranty. Menards really needs to look into what companies they go through.
I ordered 4 32oz cans of gas mix.i ordered it online because my boyfriend could not go in at get it. Surgery so I thought I would save time.but it took me longer to get it. I had to walk all the way back to receiving at pick it up.they had no bags back there to put them in. But this is not the end then I had to go to a register to check out my order so it gets registered that I paid for it and picked it up.yep another Waite I might as well gone in shop myself and saved me time. Well I learned my lesson no more online order from Menards. It may be it would work if it's is a large order and heavy so they can load it. But don't get small orders. It may not be like this in all the Menards. They need a better system for online order.
I wish there was no star option because that's what they deserve. I wanted to write about their 11% rebate and their store staff.

Upon asking in store I was very rudely told to contact rebates department via email because they have nothing to do with rebates. It's like those guys at customer service are giving me a favor by being there and earning their paycheck by my business. But no I can't ask for any help from them. Their attitudes are like why are you even talking to them. Extremely rube customer service and absolutely utterly ridiculous 11% rebates sale. Absolutely scam just to get customers in and get their business. But when it comes to rebates they will make you wait forever and hope that you will just forget about it.

Purchased cabinetry from Menards from Belleville Michigan but has been a complete disaster. Ordered 19 items and only 4 was not damaged or wrong. Re-ordered replacement parts nothing but a hassle. Cabinets were, broken, overspray (dif color) peeling of paint., easily whip off paint, cracked, wrong. One panel looked like they snapped it over their knee, besides it being out of square. Still on-going. Rude Cardell representative. Made our customer cry! I have the plague now, nobody wants to deal with this disaster. Who's going to pay me for all my time to resolve this fiasco? Zero quality assurance...Filing a complaint with Menards, but who knows.Too many photos to show. Manager has them all!
I'm am 72 years old and asked a yard man if he could help me get two 8' cedar tone boards down from the upper level and cut them in half, he asked if I paid to have them cut I told him no and he just drove off. I have never had a problem at any other Menards they cut for free and are always willing to help.I will never shop at Mishawaka menards ever again!
I was a cashier for about three weeks until I actually couldn't take my position anymore. If you are a cashier at Menards, you are not allowed to sit or move, you literally have to stand there in the same spot for 10 hours a day. You get A SINGLE 30 minutes in the day to take lunch and even with that they FORGET to send you on break. I had to ask for several bathroom breaks just to sit down. I quit after about three weeks because 6 am to 7 pm, standing without being able to move anywhere else while a manager also taking the squishy floor mat from under my feet, and only getting a half hour to sit down, I hope any employee at menards says $#*! it and leaves for good
I bought 25 bottles of Heinz Hot & Spicy Ketchup but when they arrived they were all well past their 'best by' date. I asked for a refund, but not holding my breath.
Called Paducah Kentucky Menards looking for some 4/0 tri-plex wire. Was told they had it in stock. Drove one hour to get it. Upon arrival was told not only did they NOT have it, but never have had it! I noticed a remnant spool of 60 feet of very similar wire (4/0 tri-plex with additional 2/0 ground) and asked if they would sell it at the same price. Manager said he would if I bought the entire 60 feet! I only needed 21 feet! He refused to cut a remnant! His reasoning was, "It is in the computer as a 60 ft remnant, and it can't be changed!"
Needless to say, after this incident AND dealing with their mask nazis during Covid, I will NEVER set foot in a Manards again!
Menards cheats people out of money they have coming. They will ask their vendors to do work for them and then refuse to pay. They will say you did not spend enough time on the job even though they approve a bid. They continually hide behind many different disclaimers to cheat people such as their third party administrator for their supposed 11% rebate. Whatever you do don't do any work for them. Also do not buy anything from them. Vote with your dollar and run them out if business. They should be ashamed of how they do business but they do not care.
My order 8/28/2023 Massachusetts delivery was timely and packaged very well. Product as described. Compliments to the shipping person who taped all exposed seams on the shipping box

Ordered siding in Port Huron Mich and was assured that delivery to Jackson Mich store was easily accomplished Nothing could have been further from the truth Material has been sitting in Lansing Mich since last Thursday Menard vendor wants additional fees from Menards to dispatch materials Customer service in Port Huron is a disaster with zero promised follow up from the store manager down It is now Tuesday and still no materials Siding installers have pulled off job with me on the hook for two days time due 100 percent to Menards ineptitude and "we're checking into it " and will get back to you platitudes I would have really question my own judgment to ever utilize this facility again BUYER BEWARE
Been waiting for a number of rebates sent to Elk Mound, WI. Starts by telling the world "Rebate Offer"( in other words, take me) then placing a.66 stamp, and then wait, and wait, and wait. Not anymore Menards, its Home Depot or Lowes or Ace, any where but Menards. At check out you get a rebate receipt, (to mail in) why doesn't Menards just let me use that receipt the next time I would go to Menards? Instead of a stamp and an address labeled, "Just take me nobody will know." Really stupid Menards! By the way I can't prove this cause Menards has all my rebate receipts, less of course one would look at my credit card charges.
I bought so many items from Menard and the store didn't give me any rebate when I applied for that. The store just says for 11% rebate but that is not for everyone, maybe it's given to 0.5% of the customers.
Bought door needed a little warranty work found out you have to do it online 9can,t talk to anybody the reply I get has nothing to do with the problem a 2 minute phone call would take care of it will not buy from them again been dealing with this for over 2 weeks I email sometimes don,t hear back for days not only that on the 11% the price is raised to account for that very unhappy once I get my rebate used up will be buying less and more from other stores
There is a tight time window for you to mail in your rebates. Small purchase with less than $1.00 in a rebate? Menards is counting on you to no even bother.

Might as well have a bucket at the manager station for pissed off customers to donate all their 67cent rebates to the CEO to have another martini out on his yacht. 11% Rebate signs in store are a slap in the face to the customer making a small purchase. Once you figure this out, you stop smiling when you walk in those doors because you KNOW you are about to get scammed.

Have also requested updates multiple times within that month with absolutely no response. Hopefully this is only because of Covid-19 but I from what I've heard the Customer Service is always almost unreachable
