It's a shame the state of California decided to use this company to pay out stimulus payments. The 1800 customer service number is an absolute joke. The reps can't speak English, are extremely rude and have no clue what they are doing
I received a card as a gift for $100. Forgot about it and went to activate it. It expired 1 day earlier. I received it about 4 months ago from my employer. After spending nearly 3 hours on hold they said they would not do anything even though they could see the card was never activated. No online support. I will never recommend or purchase a card funded by these thief's. My employer is now discontinuing business with them due to these ridiculous and fraudulent practices. Word of advice. Find another finder for gift cards. Do not use Money Network. I would give them 0 stars if I could
I will never do business with money network again. My experience with them for the last 2 years has been a complete nightmare. If you can get a real bank account. I honestly dont know how these people live with themselves.
This is the worst financial institution I ever dealt with very unprofessional. If you have a fraud claim be prepared to jump through many hoops and nothing hardly gets done. Little advice if you are going to receive a government refund do not choose a prepaid card from this institution I had a fraudulent charge and it's been 90 days and I still have not gotten my money back. Please beware of this company

Horrible horrible company! Cannot access account online or on app play store, says does not exist. I called to report can not take money out of ATM the customer service guy Josh was very rude and reported my account as fraud and blocked me from making any more calls. I wanted a long time for my disability to get approved and this is what I get, cannot access...
At first using this card my job provided for instant pay was fine. Now it declines everywhere bank atm, heb, att,Walmart I was told all merchants were flagged as fraudulent. The customer service is useless and sorry. I have to transfer all my money to my personal account in order to be paid. I wouldn't not recommend this company to anyone.
The money network services should be illegal for employers to use as a default form of pay. They won't deactivate old cards and when talking to customer service, they flat out refuse to give helpful answers. They treat people like crap and they hit you with b.s. Fees randomly. Use your bank, not money network. If I could, I would leave a negative rank.
Any form of service from this company is completely useless. Nobody to help you over the phone, their phone app is unresponsive EVERY time, and their desktop website never works as it kicks me out when I try to initiate transfers. This company makes it impossible to do the simplest of banking. How they were trusted to do anything is beyond me.
These people are awful. Bought my son roblox and apparently thats considered a fraudulent charge. They never notified me that they froze my account instead I found out by my card being declined. I called and was told best they could do was send a new card that would take 3 days to get to me. I asked them to unfreeze my account and they said no because their system automatically freezes accounts if they think something is fraudulent. Also good luck getting a hold of someone because calls are constantly getting disconnected.
Poor customer service, a hotel took almost $500 off my card without my authorization and money network is going to let me know that they can't do anything but only dispute it which takes over 30 days for my money to go back on my card. I honestly can't find one good thing to say about money network.
First it takes anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes to get one. Then after repeating the question back and forth 10 times, they tell you whatever is written on their scripts. Any deviation from accepting their scripted reply, causes the representative to to run home to mama by way of wanting to refer you to a supervisor, who after a very long wait repeats the same scripted jargon!
I would never sign up with this company or trust them to handle any money for any business'. I have been fighting with them for a year now for my daughters money and within the last 4 months they keep sending me checks but have stopped payment on them. When you call they act like they don't care nor do they know what they are talking about. I would advise any employer or employee to NEVER use these people!
I got paid on this card and automatically started having problems. So I started trying to transfer money from that card to my other money cards, Apple Cash, cash app PayPal. None of them will even except this card. There's no way you can use this card unless you're personally there. Do not get this card. It will be the worst mistake you ever made. Customer service is freaking terrible. They don't even know what they're talking about, I said please explain why Apple does not take this card I can't be the first person to call to say this. Her answer, you're not and I can't explain it to you why we don't.
I've called customer service more than once, and they are still being rude and unhelpful. I'm trying to see up my card so I can transfer money to my regular bank account, and the customer service representatives are nothing but a waste of time. They won't give me the card balance, nor will they answer any of my questions. This is quite possibly the worst company any business could use.
I received my card, and activate it. All the places listed by Money Network, where you can cash it without the fee are incorrect. The Money Network doesn't provide an email, or telephone number. The only way to contact them is BY MAIL, and they will respond in some 4 months. What kind of crap is it?
500$ was stolen off my stolen wallet they said make a police report did and a yr later still nothing they are no help saving gone to someone who didn't work for it when asked how often i use to card it's not often they did over 20 transactions over night red flag but not for them
This card charges you 3 dollars just too look at your balance. It took 15 minutes to get through the automated phone questionnaire to speak to an actual person. I do not recommend this service at all. Overall a horrible experience. This service is NOT user focused!
This card is a scam they try n take your money. Bad customer service they can't verify you with your social n private information but want your last 20 purchases... Don't do it... Do not get this card please whatever you do...
Nearly every person on the customer service team referred me to an automated support line that did not address my issue. All of them refused to listen to my issue, which was with the company itself. Also, the check they sent out to me was wrong and because their service is so terrible, i still have not resolved it NOR received a reply to my email. There is also a time limit to the check, which is great because they are terrible with communication so that drags things behind even further!
If you can avoid having to get paid through the money network card, by all costs avoid it.
I've spent 2 hours waiting to speak to customer service to transfer funds. Failed to get the replacement card they sent.
I had to work with them years ago and they always been awful, I'm just amazed it's somehow been able to get any worse.
Answer: It is a scam. No matter how much information you give about yourself they still will lie to you and send you a dispute sayin your claim is closed
Answer: My employer chose to deposit my pay check to this card, because she did not get a hold of my direct deposit info in time.
Answer: There is no getting in contact with customer service. On their website they state that they have 24/7 customer service, but I have yet to experience the validity of that statement.
