The card itself is okay to use, and if you have a problem with attempts or successful breaches of your identity they waste no time helping you get your money back.
However, forget about using the website.
Fire dinner reason it will not accept your password or user name after awhile. You go to reset them and it asks for your card number and exp date of card. Then Everett that and you get an invalid card info error. You can't get into your account
They charge for paper statements so that's irritating.
Last but not least, they will not accept direct deposit for tax refund. They say it's all good to go, then they reject it. You can and they don't know why it didn't.
Then you have to wait for the IRS to reissue a paper check.
They've done this for the last two years and the two stimulus things
I don't know why it's like this, but if you never watch your statement you wouldn't need to worry about getting logged into the website, but if you do watch it you're screwed and have to pay to get a paper statement sent to you.
So today I was trying to buy a game for 13:99 on the App Store and it wouldn't go through but I knew I had money on the card because the last time I checked I had $1,235 and so I decided to check my balance and I only had 8 DOLLARS! But that was impossible because I only pay my phone bill and my WiFi bill and bought a few presents for Christmas. Don't trust this company it's a scam pls warn your loved ones.

The Money network app doesn't work ive tryed to log on almost every day in the last month and only been able to log on once. Customer service doesn't answer questions and doesn't have answers.
I have this card on behalf of the state from maternity leave. I've used it 3 times to pay my car note. I made 3 payments of $400, $300 & $500= $1200. My car company reached out to me to let me know that money network reversed the payments as a chargeback due to "insufficient funds". Well that doesn't make sense because I had more than enough money in the account. In fact I paid my car note each time as soon as the money it my account. So I';ve been going back and forth with Money Network for the past 2 weeks trying to figure out where my $1200 went and they can't seem to give me an answer nor will they give me may money back! So $1200 magically disappeared? They keep telling me, "idk what Mazda is talking about, we paid them. It's their problem" Yet Mazda has been able to prove to me that they didn't receive the money but Money Network won't prove that they paid them. All Mazda is asking for is proof that Money Network paid them by receiving a "Merchant Copy" but they said "we don't send those we can only send them a copy of the statement." well the statement is NOT ENOUGH! I have NEVER missed a car payment is 7 years. Now this is happening since I started using this card to pay my car note off & I'm being threatened by Mazda to be sent to collections because of this.
I have been run in circles by Clifton, and Supervisor Jassett. I was told they required my entire SS # to look at my account. Was provided false information by Clifton, then Jassett told me she would "transfer" my call to a department that would provide a live person. My call was then dropped by her after waiting 41 min and 41 seconds this time after 5 calls...all recorded on my phone bill. This seem poorly regulated, Governor Newsom's piss poor management is ON DISPLAY AGAIN! No funds, gives money to Tesla owners and those of us in service industry get shafted by this TERRIBLE GOV!
I got double charged on my card for $130 I made a dispute and the sent me back a letter in the main refusing to refund my money back. Totally got scammed out of my money. DO NOT USE THIS CARD SERVICE PLEASE!
I'm just like everyone else that has written a review about this sorry company.im just disgusted with money network. I find out on a Sunday afternoon that my card has been hacked and all my money gone. I called them and got a new card in a fewvdays. I called to ask about my 117 dollars and they said it would have to be disputed. When I talked to someone they spoke broken English and a never understood what he said. About a week later I get a letter in the mail saying I lost the dispute because there were red flags about what I said when it was obvious it was one transaction that took all my money. I had a 2nd dispute and lost it also now they say the matter is closed as far as they were concerned.its crazy to have to fight tooth and nail for my own damn money and not get it and basically be called a fraud.as soon as I can I'm switching to chime. I think they are getting this money and keeping it themselves. Why else would you have people disputing money transactions that speak broken English or speak real fast like a car commercial on the radio. Every review on this company is really bad because they are crooks and scammers.
Money Network is Horrible, my Debt EIP Card all my Money was Stolen The Company is No good, UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTIONS, customer service was NO HELP AT ALL, 2,250 $ was STOLEN From my EIP Card, I did Appeal The Dispute, they are Worthless, don't Trust Them at all! Just an FYI... if they loose your money it NOT there fault! I transfer my money to my personal bank account, they took my money from the money card and never transferred it. Now almost a month later still no money and NOW ITS MY FAULT! THAT THEY LOST MY MONEY! UNBELIEVABLE.
On October 9th it transferred $50 to my bank account it never made it I have been waiting for a dispute paper for 3 weeks and it seems like they procrastinate and don't want to settle about where this money went I don't understand it should show that it was depositing my bank it does not this is a crappy place do not transfer money from the card to your bank go to the free ATMs pull all your money then take it to the bank that's the best way without being ripped off I am still waiting for a dispute papers to file a dispute on the $50 which they already know it did not go in the bank crappy place crappy people crafty card to use
Spoke with their Customer Service representative, "Gabby," who said the card they sent me 11 months ago "expired." The card expires 6/23 but apparently they swapped contracts from BOA to Metabank.
Metabank has no customer support according to Gabby & her supervisor, Jess.
For the last 5 months theyve taken $5 out of my account each month, while not sending me a new card... just cancelling the card they sent me.
I asked to reimburse at least $5 & give me access to MY MONEY. They said I needed to wait for a new card to access my money, which would then charge me an additional $5 for April.
All I wanted to do was pull my money out of the account & have it transferred. Luckily I was able to fulfill the transfer today but with a $3 fee added.
This was money I worked for & was taxed for in 2015 while with a temp agency. Somehow I lost over $30 to them in fees from their runaround & new contracts, which I never signed.
This shouldn't be legal & the fact that they cannot even get $5 reimbursed or wave a $3 fee to make things right is atrocious.
They said they'll send in a request, wont CC me on the email, and wont reach out to let me know the status.
Are there any lawsuits filed against this company?
I have used money network card for 12 years and never encountered this... first off after the hotel I sated at was paid in full when I checked out the next day money network put a hold on 450 dollars on my card after all was paid so I called the hotel and talked to the supervisor and all was paid in full no pending. So I called money network and found out about the hold so I told them to call the hotel which they declined. So I told them you are holding 450 dollars of mine for no reason? I said how long for? They said 31 days. Wow 31 days really? I got bills to pay. I said iam not getting it back any sooner they said no. Ummm I have had holds before yes but it was 7 to 10 days. Never heard of 31 days and she said I won't be getting it back before that. Wow I used this card everywhere Vegas Indiana Minnesota and never had this happen. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they said one was not available wow just wow... so iam spreading the word do not if you like your cash I repeat do not use this company... worst I have ever seen. So after 12 years I will be taken my business to a bank. As soon as my money is back iam switching over... they lost a valuable customer..
The customer service say if your personal information change call the number on the back of the card. When you call the number you can't get no help.Ik changing my direct deposit
IF I COULD LEAVE A NEGATIVE 5 STARS I WOULD. I was issued a card via my disability claim with no other payment options. I was told by money network I could use the card just like any other bank card. Well, that was 100% a lie! I made a purchase on 12/22/22 from a Florist who canceled my order and has not refunded my card yet. I filed a claim on 12/31/2022. I was told I had to wait for the dispute form via the mail. Well, on 01/18/2023 I still had not received the form and called in again and they provided me the fax and email to submit the requested documents in order to process or should I say investigate the claim. Today is now 1/25/2023 and the documents have not been reviewed and I am told they can take 45 to 90 days to process. Thank God I do not live paycheck to paycheck or on a strict budget as a lot of people do because $79.40 is not spare change for most people. Especially with todays costs of living. I would never ever recommend anyone to deal with money network if they can avoid them. Absolutely horrible regard for the consumer!

Got hacked 2 x the first one i never received a dispute form but yet i did get a letter of denial so i let it go lost $180 the second time almost $900 again never got send a dispute form just a replacement card i called again i need a dispute form guess what i got another replacement card? Download the dispute form Wich is verry hard to find faxed it now i have to wait another 5/10 business days to get my money i feel like they do this to deny your dispute and they keep your money like they did the first time to me.I DON'T RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Also on there website it says we will email you when we see suspicious activity on your card b.s. 45x they took out money out and never received a email or text would that be considered false advertisement?
