Trying mSpy has honestly been one of the worst customer experiences I have had in a long time. I wanted to be able to monitor SMS messages and Instagram on my daughter's iPhone 11. After having to install an app on her phone, Anytrans on my laptop, having to completely reset her phone and 3+ hours on chat with support, I still couldn't see SMS messages without physically plugging her phone into my computer. Was then told that only way I could monitor Instagram was if I jailbroke her phone. This product honestly doesn't work for current version of iOS. Then to top it all off, when I asked to cancel my subscription, billing customer service took 3-5 minutes between each chat string and went three different attempts to 'freeze' my account, give me three months for free instead of just cancelling my subscription. Please mSpy... I thought you were better than this.

This "company" has no real proprietary software. They needed full remote access to my computer to install it, and it was just a free app from another company. It doesn't work at all- in order to see my kids data, I have to physically connect it to the computer and upload the data. If I have physical access to the phone, I can just look at the phone! This is a total scam. If you look at where this "company" originates from, it's Russia. I can't believe I fell for this, but it seems that they have seeded the internet with positive reviews to get gullible people like me to pay for this "software". Don't fall for it!

Mspy is average

Mspy is average. 3 features work and are fully functional. He first one is, you can see a call log of all incoming and outgoing phone calls on the target phone. Second, you can also read all text messages that come in and out of the phone. And third, you an see the Internet browsing history.
I called tech support because blocked numbers on the target phone were basically going state to voicemail. That is not a blocked call. The rep, then clarified that mspy only restricts calls. That does not guarantee that your children are safe or the you are protecting them. Kids leave voicemails for each other. Those you cannot hear. Next feature that doesn't work is, call recording. Mspy says they do it, but the files don't download. When I called tech support, they informed me that call and environment recording is down. Ok... so... why did I pay for it? Also, GPS locator does not work. My map always shows my own location, but never the target phones.

Please be informed that this is the way in which Restrict Incoming Calls feature works. When the phone number to be restricted is entered in your Control Panel and the command is applied, the target device will simply not get incoming calls. The caller should hear a busy line and the call should not be transferred automatically to voicemail. It is possible that the carrier's settings work in such way that the busy line is automatically transferred to voicemail. By this time there is no way to block a phone number completely and prevent any activities with it.

Since the focus of our work has always been the quality of the proposed services, we have disabled the recording functions. Currently it is not technically possible to make the recordings feaures run correctly on the presently available range of different devices. Please be also informed that we have recently added new options without price change: SnapChat and Geo Fencing. At this time we do not support call recordings and surrounding recordings. The price for mSpy subscription remains the same.

Please be informed as well that the Location feature (as well as all other features) determines the position of the target device only in case the application is installed on the phone you want to monitor (not on your personal phone). Once installed, mSpy should receive all permissions of the device in order to get the location. Please provide us with your Customer ID so we could investigate on your case thoroughly.

BEWARE OF MSPY

They are a FAKE! They are SCAM! They will take your money and not give you anything in return. I never received my program. I called... no answer. I emailed... no answer. I started reading reviews about the same thing happening with other people. DONT BUY MSPY. The kicker is I tried getting a refund and now they continue charging my account! WTF! I should have known better... BEWARE!

The service is terrible

If you want to waste your money, this is the place to go.
1) Very complicated and long setup, some functions can be set up only with the help of support. At the same time there are other services that are set up by themselves, in automatic mode.
2) I paid the "extreme" tariff and additional support. But in order to configure the functions I need such as environment recording and camera access I was offered to wait a month! In the end, these functions never worked. Call recording also did not work.
3) Control sms-delay of more than two days
4) Constant need to make calls to ******* from the target device to restore the lost connection.
5) Support service can be contacted only by mail, and it responds only after three days (even though I paid for additional support).
Don't waste your money on this product, it's as good as throwing it away.
I never got my money back for the service that didn't work, although the developer claims a 14-day refund period in case of problems.
In the end, I bought another service, which 1) was cheaper 2) automatically configured 3) all functions worked at once 4) support responded online.

Extremely disappointed
October 3, 2021

I purchase a couple weeks ago for an i phone 11. After purchase they told me the phone was not compatible with jailbreak. I have been trying to get a refund since. Noone will help me. They keep saying someone will contact me. I am starting to think they are a scam and are going to keep my money. I do NOT recommend this company.

I purchased this only to find out it wouldn't work - I figured I could called customer service and they would refund me and work with me. Boy was I wrong! Customer service is a joke! They were incredibly rude and hung up on me every time I asked for a supervisor. I had to spend an hour of my time simply trying to talk to somebody you could help me. Eventually I just gave up because customer service was laughing on the other end. I don't even think this is a real company I think it's just a scam. Finally I got an email and I was told they wouldn't give me a refund. I haven't used the product and I can't use the product it's not working but there still going to take my money. Companies like this should be run out of business, there just set up to take your money to scam you! Don't buy, better off going somewhere else!

DO NOT use this app. They will mislead you, once they get your payment all the things that they told you will not happen unfortunately. 1. They will convince you that they can remotely do it with an extra fee.(once your paid, NO they can't) 2. They will tell you the app will not be visible. (Once you paid, they will tell you it's not possible.) 3. They will tell you they will give you 14 days full refund. (It's not possible because they will tell you to read their legal terms.). So in short nothing will be positive on your side, money grabbing.

Buyer beware
July 30, 2020

Mspy is a waste of money. Most apple aren't able to be jail broken as required to fully access the important things on the target device. They RARELY give refunds and are extremely unproffessional when requesting one. I paid for an entire year only to find out I couldnt use the app and did not receive ANY refund, not even a partial. My daughters life hung in the balance of social media and accessing her snapchat was a MUST, I even explained this in a heartfelt email only to be ignored. Please dont purchase through this scam of a company

Signed up, couldn't download the program. Charged me $53.00 more to "chat" with tech supported then no one showed up to chat. Never received any help. Asked for refund, company is refusing to give me my money back and refusing to give me a phone number to talk to anyone about it. Do not buy. It is not easy to install and actually impossible to install on some phones. False advertising that it is easy and that they will help you.

Expensive garbage is what it is. GPS doesn't work, app and web tracking doesn't work, text and call tracking doesn't work, nothing does. The vast majority of the time, the website itself doesn't work. Instant uninstall!

They do not answer their support calls. I have wasted a ton of time troubleshooting to get an iPhone to connect and it still doesn't. This renders the product useless. After requesting assistance several times and requesting a refund, I have been ghosted.

They will not respond and essentially stealing from their customers.

I will report to the BBB unless they respond and refund.

Works Great with Tablets

My little one uses a tablet to play games. We let her download her own stuff, but my wife and I still like to know what's going on. MSpy made it easy to block certain apps and set screen time limits.

I have been trying for months to get a refund. They said it wouldn't work for my sons phone after I paid and tried to set it up. I contacted them and they will not refund my money. We have gone back and forth - they tried to keep some of the money- I finally did a dispute with my bank. I specifically ordered this to monitor snapchat and it won't work for that. My son and I both have an iphone and I installed on both phones. It is on their end but they will not take responsibility for their own product! Stay AWAY!

I looked in to this mspy because of a chance to win money. When I got to this mspy section I selected no thanks and 4 days later I was charged 189 dollars taken from my account. I contacted the company just to get the same response of their billing team is looking into it. This happened 4 days before June 1st and it's now the 26th and still not a response of me getting my money back. I never filled out any personal information I never agreed to sign up for this service. I don't have customer ids no login information because I never signed up for it and not 1 person from there actually is willing to help me
