They blocked me without warning. I understand that it should be due to my VPN, but on the other hand, I've been running on a VPN for many years, and this has never happened before. And I refuse to explore myself on the internet just for their sake - it is their duty to keep up with the times...
But the worst thing is, they do nothing to help me with this. They don't answer emails even though they say they will, etc. etc.
And every page or link that refers to contact or a phone number just leads to a knowledge base. This is ridiculous - Their support is so BAD.

Satisfied user for several years and recommend, however when rare problems do occur it takes too many days before someone replies to the issue posted. That being said, once customer service does contact you, the tech people are quick to diagnose and offer solution. Kudos to the My Heritage Customer Service team!

The ethnicity estimates seem to be poor and at least partially wrong. "English" as ethnicity seems to be very important (compared to other European regions), maybe because a lot of customers are from English speaking countries? For me as an Austrian with many, many generations in Central Europe is "English" the strongest result - obvious nonsense! Sorry to say.

Ordered health DNA for son in law and never got it. Instructions said to go to DNA, manage my kits and out from the name it would say complete questionnaire and that does not exist. No offer of refund, expensive program (they offered a discount and when I attempted to re-sign up it did not show). I use 3 other programs and this is the worst.
Tip for consumers:
I will stick with other programs. My dog gives better customer service.

I warmly recommend My Heritage. During year 2022 I have had/and has big problems with my health. Thus, I have not been able to do much research. I still hope to recover after my surgery spring this year.
When telling Support (Sophie) I met big empathy and received very good financial conditions for the year to come. This is a company you can rely on when times are tuff.
I don´t need to tell you about the professionality of the staff. Nothing to complain about - at all.

Since 01st of september I've been trying to get support from Myheritage to resolve my issue and haven't got a decent support for it.
Very bad customer service, and kinda a scam. My wife bought two kits, one for me and one for her. Her kit has been completed properly, but I am still waiting for the results of mine, since 18/08 and dont even have it linked to Myheritage account.
We are currently seeking support to check what has happened between the kit and my account or for a refund and no answers at all.

I checked my bank account and they'd taken a payment for a subscription that I knew nothing about. Their website is no help at all, it has you running around in circles. There's no phone number. I want refund and I've sent numerous e mails that don't get answered. After a few days of persistent e mails, I received a reply and an instant refund.

Since 2016, I have an account on the www.myheritage.com portal. On January 14, they charged me €166.05 and started a subscription I didn't order. I should add that I haven't used this site in the last year!
I have tried to contact myheritage.com for clarification and a refund, but no one is replying!

I have purchased my kit in 2021. I have to say that our post works not always good so there probably they lost my kit in the post. After beginning of the war in Ukraine i have completely forgotten about the issue and it came to my mind 10 months later. Despite this fact the support from Heritage was right and appreciated. They offered me payback or sent new kit. I have asked to send the new kit to Poland, where the package can be safely taken.

I ordered a DNA kit for my 94 year old grandfather (which i manage from my account). We followed the instructions, activated and posted the kit via post more than 3 months ago. There has been no notification of receipt from the lab. Additionally my grandfather was charged $150+ for a subscription to their site following a 'free trial' he had no knowledge of. I rang my heritage to try explain the situation and request a refund and was only able to leave a voice message. They never returned my call. I emailed (twice) with no response. I am furious. We have spent close to $300 and there has been no product, no results and NO customer service.do not recommend!

I purchased 2 dna kits, I took the swab tests then shipped through local post office. The tracker on the site stated that samples never arrived to the lab. I tried reach them to know what could i possibly do or if i could get a refund. Sent 3 emails but never got an answer. To this day i never got results back, i literally wasted my money

I searched for free and some Discoveries came up. When I tried to view the Discoveries it said I needed a subscription. I signed up for the PremiumPlus Plan and still couldn't see the Discoveries. I called Customer Service and was told I would need to upgrade. Such a scam. I requested a refund but will take 7+ days to hear back.

Beware, very hard to get hold of. I got a subscription for 138.87, I forgot about it, they renewed for 429.45. After multiple tries by phone and email I go a answer from Diego saying a GREAT TEAM member would contact me. At 12.24 P.M. Dec. 29 a team member called me, He tried to get me to agree to several enticing offers, I firmly said all I wanted was a refund, he took a few seconds to get an approval for my total refund, he said I would get it in several days, I have waited a week and still no indication of refund. I just want to delete my account. Most of MYHERTIAGE information is taken from Ancestry, GENI, Family Search or similar sites not much there for the price, once they have your money. Beware.

I was so surprised and disappointed. I was set up with automatic payments and when it was time to renew subscription $340.20 was deducted in a snap. I had no ide the price was so much higher than initially. Needless to say - well before time of renewal this time I cancelled it all and I won't go there again

My family tree I have worked on for decades was altered. Names were changed from birth names to who knows. Daughters in law we changed to their mothers in law. When I complained I was told that there was "theorized genealogy"! Do not trust these people. I have no clue what they are up to. The person I dealt with "Daniel" was incredibly condescending.

I have had no response after money was taken from my account. Had tried numerous times to cancel my free subscription and tried phoning the number doesn't connect. Email no response... an absolute nightmare... but I will not give up they will give me a refund...please do no use this site.

Signed up for the free two week trial. And it was the biggest mistake I ever made. I found very little information on my family heritage. And then I tried to cancel before the two weeks expired. Good luck doing that on their webpage and even better luck trying to do it on the phone. They want your heritage account number and if you don't give it to them immediately the computer system terminates the phone call and you have to start all over again. Each phone call was at least a half an hour of being on hold. Then they promised you a call back. They let the phone ring one time and then they shoot you an email saying they tried to call and you didn't answer. Who makes a phone call and allows only one ring before hanging up? Numerous emails are received with all kinds of excuses and blame. Took me two weeks to cancel this membership. And I still haven't received my reimbursement as of yet

Your sample is sent in using USPS (not even prepaid)... with zero tracking capabilities. No indication that your package has been received and MH is incapable of tracking.
Free trial converts to paid 1yr membership without any notification. Customer service refuses to assist. 30 day money back guarantee is garbage... they will put off a resolution until you're past the window and locked in.
Will file unauthorized charges with paypal.

I wanted to experience this website last month (((for once))) and therefore I ordered the DNA test and that was it for me.
Now am surprised of cutting 129,50 € from my account!
I do not agree on any subscription and I am not interested in that and never have been. Thus I wanted to receive my money back and cancel all kinds of subscriptions! But I tried to contact the support and no one answered me!

I paid 200.00 for the full access package to Myheritage. Animation feature does not work. Other features work randomly. I've reach out to customer support and just get replies saying "a ticket" has been made for my issue but they aren't doing anything to fix the animation problem. I've found this to be a total waste of money.

I thought ordered 1 dna kit. But apparently I ordered 2.? Came separately,with 2 postage charges. I tried to contact the company to correct this but could not. I have since been charged for a "membership " which I did not want. I have spoken to one person, they will get back to me. I have left messages and mail. Still no response. I am now $400 out of pocket. For 1 kit.

I only gave it one star because this site wouldn't let me give it zero stars.
Originally, it seemed to be a great idea. Got my dna. Read the information. All was great. Then about year later, I noticed that the information on my ancestry had changed. Contacted customer service. They said they would look into it. Next thing I know its all completely deleted and I have no dna results. So I didn't renew. Went back on with a free trial to see if they had straightened it out, but nope. All my account info was there with absolutely no trace of me ever taking a dna test. I hit cancel. Got a confirmation. They up and charged me for a whole year anyway. I complained. They offered me 40% back and tried to keep selling me the benefits of their site. Dont use this company for dna. Go to the more reputable sites like ancestry. These guys are not helpful, the program is a mess and its just not worth the hassle.

I have ordered three DNA kits from this site. They never arrived. They said there was a mistake and that they will send them again. And now, on the DHL site it says the package is delivered, but no, it never did.
They never answer in writing, they only call. I ask for a refund, there is no answer. I am an international customer, and I don know where to put my complaint.
