I am very happy about Myheritage after using it for approx. One year, first the online version, and thereafter Family tree and the online version in combination. Criticism encountered regarding errors in the data content to me seem quite unjust. The data come in great part from the users themselves. It seems oblvious to me that all users are obliged to use their common sense to evaluate the information, just the same way as is necessary when searching personally in different public information sources. The latter however would be a far more timeconsuming process. A great part of the joy in Family story research is in fact just the challenge of the evaluation. If all information was 100% ready and correct for consumption, the process would be far less interesting (and the amount of information available would be far less in quantity, diminishing both the challenge and the joy). Thanks also to the people that I have spoken to at Myheritage for very friendly cooperation in solving my problems, especially Mathilde who was extremely patient with me last time. Thanks again!

Got my results and my daughters results back today and they are a joke! Don't know where they are pulling these results from but they are very wrong and inaccurate! The results said we are 87.2% British and Irish. VERY WRONG! 8.2% Eastern Europe. WRONG AGAIN! 4.6% Ashkenazi Jewish NOT TO MY KNOWLEDGE or MY FAMILIES KNOWLEDGE! Actually my guess is they are pulling information and doing research from my married last name! This is more for my husband and not me. So My Heritage is scamming people out of their money and they are a fraud. For my daughters results, I'm pretty sure they just tweaked the percentages because she has the same results as myself.
Save your money and go somewhere else! I would like a refund as these results are WRONG and NOT MY RESULTS!

I SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TRIAL AND I DIDN'T FIND ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT MY FAMILY. I ONLY FIND THINGS ABOUT MYSELF THAT I ALREADY KNOW. THEY CHARGE ME $119.00 BECAUSE I DIDN'T CANCEL ON TIME. WHEN I CALL WITHIN MINUTES FROM THEM CHARGING ME TO TRY TO GET A REFUND, I WAS TOLD THAT THEY HAVE SEND AN EMAIL THAT I NEVER RECEIVED. WHEN I EXPLAIN THAT IS NOTHING ABOUT MY FAMILY IN THIS SITE, THEY KEEP TELLING ME TO MAKE A FAMILY TREE. WHAT A BUNCH OF BOLOGNA. ANY BUSINESS THAT DOESN'T WANT TO GIVE YOU A FULL REFUND FOR SOMETHING THAT IS USELESS TO YOU, IT SHOULDN'T BE IN BUSINESS.

I have been trying to reach MyHeritage for a month now. Every time I call I receive a message stating they are "unavailable right now" even though it is well within their working hours as posted on their site. So then I tried contacting them through email. After searching the site in every manner conceivable I finally posted a note in the forum area. Now to me, a forum is a give and take of users' comments. Apparently to MyHeritage, that is how you are suppose to contact them if you can't reach them via phone. Since the company is based in Israel, I will give the benefit of the doubt on the "forum" experience and chalked it up as a difference in local vernacular. Today, after waiting on the phone line (from caller 23 when I dialed in) for nearly 45 minutes, I reached someone in the accounting office. Although he was very nice about it, he informed me that he couldn't help and I would have to reach technical support and he gave me a supposed direct number. I called the direct number only to receive a recording that said they were now unavailable because it was their lunch hour. I waited another hour and called back again. This time I was caller 27 and was on hold for an hour. The tech that I spoke to was nice though very abrupt and I did resolve the problem I was having, but I can honestly state that I will not pay another subscription to this company as long as they continue to act like this is a part-time Mom and Pop business. That is not the level of professionalism I wish to deal with.

I ordered a DNA test for a relative though the site. It did take a while to get it, due to shipping delays. I got it in time to send it on to my relative for Xmas. I did run into a technical glitch in trying to activate the kit on line before I shipped it. I called the help line phone number, which wasn't the best way to resolve the issue. It was technical and and to be referred on. They were supposed to call me on Sunday but did not. I sent an email directly to the DNA support address and got a very quick response and the problem was resolved in just a couple of days. I should have handled it that way from the outset. I was in a hurry and wanted to get the kit activated before I shipped it. Calling seemed like the a good idea, but I now see the email was more efficient. I have called the help line in the past about a billing issue and got that resolved right away with no issues. The more technical issues seem best resolved with an email because then it gets routed straight to the the person who is best equipped to deal with the problem.
Bottom line - my issue was resolved satisfactorily within a reasonable amount of time. I'm a happy customer.

Cheap skate site--no support whatsoever after ordering kits without paying for premium service and no free trial offered to see what they have. Don't waste your money.
Tip for consumers:
Do not use their DNA kits. There is no support whatsoever once you have gotten your test kit.

I ordered 2 DNA kits, but they do not offer you accesss or help by phone unless you pay for premium service. You are not even given the option of a free trial even after you have paid them for the dna kits

I have been using MyHeritage for many years and have had a PremiumPlus subscription since 2017.
I really enjoy working with the PC software.
I also use the Internet variant and the apps on IPhone (business) and Huawei (private)
After I recently changed my password, the synchronization with the PC software no longer works (the password change works without any problems with the IPhone and Huawei)
I'm stuck in an endless loop because the PC software keeps asking to generate a new password.
Password changed - new attempt to synchronize - prompt to change password - etc.
All attempts to get support have so far failed.
The phone (+49) *******922 is either busy or I am here in an endless loop.
So far only consolation by email:
