My test was absolutely a fraud. Just one example. My Paternal Grandmother was a full 100% Abenaki Native American but the results said I'm only 1.3%.

38% Iberian peninsula, NO WAY! I want my money back!

I regret to find that you are unhappy with your Myheritage DNA ethnicity results and your feedback is very important to us and plays a big role in developing our product.

We understand that one of your close relatives is 100% Abenaki Native American and you are now wondering why this is not reflected in your Ethnicity Estimate.
It is important to note that even though you have Native American ancestry, this does not necessarily mean that this genetic heritage is included in your DNA and might therefore not appear in your Ethnicity Estimate.
Each person receives about 50% of his DNA from his/her mother, and 50% from his/her father. The percentages of DNA a person receives from their ancestors at the level of grandparents and further back (great grandparents etc.) are however not necessarily divided evenly in each generation.

In addition, though you might have Native American DNA, it might belong to a tribe that is not part of the sampling used to build our Ethnicity Estimate. There are more than 500 recognized tribes, and they are ethnically, culturally and linguistically diverse. However, the majority of these tribes have not contributed their DNA for research purposes which would allow science to establish better ethnicity models.
Therefore, the fact that we did not find Native American DNA in your Ethnicity Estimate does not mean that you are not Native American.

I was able to cancel my renewal on the day it was due. The customer service representative I dealt with was excellent and even offered me the same deal as when I first enrolled - if only My Heritage had used that or a better deal, in the first instance together with a note reminding me my renewal was due.
The main reason for not renewing was that the site had limited European records for my particular research. That is surprising considering that many UK folk initially came from Europe rather than emigrate to North America where the bulk of information lies.

Thank you Alon for your prompt help. It was greatly appreciated and resolved my problem.

My problem was that I was unable to use the Book Report. It kept saying book report software wasnt installed or something like that?

I contacted the My Heritage Support team and they sent me an email with how to update the software. It was an easy fix in the end.

I had a long talk with Ziv who showed much knowledge and patience in his explanation of how to manage my family tree and especially was very helpful in directing me step by step until I fully understood what has to be done to print the tree. Thank you very much for your support.

When I had a question and needed assistance with my account, both I received a prompt and personal reply that gave me the information I needed. The customer service person who answered my phone call was also very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful and quickly and easily solved my problem. The site is very user-friendly, intuitive, and easy to navigate. I was pleased with all aspects of the service for my needs.

Had a hell of a time getting access to my account after being grossly overcharged for unavailable information. This site should be shut down in my opinion. Not sure if I'll be able to cancel my membership without canceling my debit card. Have yet to get a reply from customer service other than welcome to my heritage

I called to cancel the free 5 day subscription after I was unable to cancel via the web site. The time period was now over 5 days, but they did not make a big deal of it and credited back the charge on my card.

The website was great, unfortunately I only wanted the direct lineage, not all of the cousins etc.
The family history I was most interested in, nothing was forthcoming. I suppose that happens when you change your name 3 times whilst fleeing from your original homeland.

My wife made a mistake when returning the completed sample to America from GB. She forgot to apply the postage on the packet which I suspect would have meant that the sample would be destroyed in GB. THere was no arguement when I informed them of our mistake and they just sent another sample box, free from any charge. That was a nice goodwill gesture and reflective of the company in my opinion.The young lady who spoke to me was so polite. As an ex Trading Standards Officer, I think that gesture deserves as good review of their service to me

I saw when I checked my credit card online that my account had been charged for a year subscription which I did not attend to renew after the 14 day free trial. I have contacted support at MyHeritage four times to cancel my subscription and refund my money. My first attempt got a reply that my subscription was cancelled and that I would not be charged again in December 2017. I emailed again about a refund less the three days that passed before my cancellation. I received an email with a ticket number and a message saying they would contact me. After five days no response. I emailed again and three days later still no response. My next step is to dispute the charge with my credit card company.

I cannot cancel my MyHeritage subscription. I keep getting my pass word rejected. I changed it twice. I am trying to cancel less than 24 hours after the beginning of the free trial period. I will be advising my bank that this company is dishonest. Only 67% per cent trustworthiness? My company runs at 99.9% trustworthiness, and if it ran at less than that I would be worried. Is My Heritage?

The web-based application is a user-friendly system to deposit all your data on family members and ancestors. The family tree can be expanded by finding matches in other trees. It allows the export of various views of your data and you can add additional people of your family to edit the data.
If you have problems, the support team is very helpful. The basic subscription does not allow for all functions, but it is for free. Once you went for a higher subscription and used all the extras included, the system can be set to basic again under times you are not so actively working on your genealogy.

I recently went on this site and had a look. When I saw I had to give a credit card number I went off the site as I don't pay for anything before I've decided if I want to. Anyway somehow these people claimed the $155.99 from my pay pal account don't know how they did this but they did, all I can say is they are scammers. I'm now having to wait until paypal deals with it

I paid over £100 for membership. I quickly increased the number of names in my tree. Then My Heritage suggested that I move to family tree with them I did so and instead of having 4400 names they lost over 3000 of them. They could not find the names so I had to re-impute them again. Still have not recovered more than a 1000 names.
Then I could not access the discoveries on the website. I emailed them 3 times and they promise action. Two weeks later no telephone calls, no emails no contact.
I suggest that you try another family tree site.

I used this site for three years with no problems at all. Only recently, after three years of not using the site, have I discovered that they have actually been charging me for three years without my permission, but I cannot get hold of anyone in the company to talk about this after several attempts at contacting them. The price is extortionate and I have received no service for my money.

In the beginning of the "My Heritage" adventure I was a having a difficult time adding my confirmed family matches... I was even considering returning to another site... With out even requesting. A support representative ( Jonas) contacted me! I was very impressed, I now look forward to seeing what My Heritage will show me next.

Many thanks for the free replacement of my DNZ kit. It apparently was delivered to our front door by courier when we were in Sydney and then 'disappeared'. I went online and staff were great, didn't hesitate to send a replacement free of charge.

£90 was taken from my account even though the account should have been cancelled after the trial. My Bank Card had already been cancelled so my Bank say this is fraudulent and I am not going to authorise it. I was 1st in the queue when I phoned but no one came on the line.
