Absolutely impressed with the swift transfer of my dna profile as requested. Communication with My Heritage was personal and the friendly approach was refreshing. A huge thumbs up and special mention of Darren who handled my case, a true asset to your company.

Although I loved her accent, I had a little difficulty understanding some of her words. She was very patient with me in explaining the reason for the delay in my DNA results. My reply email got stuck in my Outbox, so I had trouble communicating that way. After calling today, I am confident my results will be ready in about a week. Can't wait!

Called from NZ and didn't have to wait long because instructions on phone meant I got through to appropriate area immediately. Majal answered the phone clearly and was very quick and helpful with my enquiry and I have coming away feeling confident that all is well. Thank you and looking forward to my results.

I wanted to check my birth certificate so used their free trial period to do so. I then unsubscribed, only to be charged £59.95 a few days later. I phoned them to ask how this could happen but they had initially no idea. Later they informed me that I had put in a wrong e-mail address and therefore had not cancelled my subscription, but very generously said they would give me a 50% refund and keep my membership for a year. I don't want to be a member, the email address they said I used does not exist, so why did they take my money? Also it was some 15 days ago and I have not received my refund, and they do not reply to my e-mails. Rubbish company only interested in one thing, "YOUR MONEY"

I called customer service because my dna sample seems to have gotten lost in the post since weeks. I was worried that I would have to pay for another kit and that MyHeritage would be reluctant to send me a new one, and that I would need to spend money again. The woman was very kind and helpful over the phone and I now have a new kit sent my way without having to spend extra money.

Your site is very interesting because for a person in search of identity, landmark and especially of sense it is a very good track to begin to experiment its true ethnic origin in addition to its genealogy.
I also appreciated the friendliness of your customer service who took the time and had the patience to answer as accurately as possible to all my questions that I asked myself.
And more to add to that what is good is that everyone has the opportunity to access your site and your customer service in several languages which facilitates much contact.

I signed up for a 1-year Premium Membership along with the Data Service and my credit card was charged nearly $300. I finished my research and had no intention of renewing the membership. However, MyHeritage automatically renewed the membership for another year without providing any written advance notice. This violated the Utah code. I filed a complaint with the Utah Consumer Protection Division at www.consumerprotection.utah.gov/complaints. I received a full refund immediately after the company received a copy of my complaint.

I had issues with a charge on my account. The person in customer service was extremely helpful and sorted out the issue with speed, courtesy and went above and beyond. Thank you Chloe. I recommend My Heritage.

Probably the most accurate results by far out of the four tests I have taken. The presentation was also very unique in that the present your results in a video scanning the world, They even add music!

My subscription payment was taken from my credit card automatically and I had decided I did not want my subscription anymore. I wrote to tell them that I wanted my money back (over 200$ in Canadian fund), but I was sure they would never accept or reply. They replied right away and refunded my payment to my credit card - I was very pleasantly surprised!

My experience has been great. I know my data are safe on their server. They have helped me find ancestors that may have been impossible otherwise. The few times I have needed technical help, it has been clear and courteous.

I've been able to trace my family tree 30 generations. It's been an incredible ride through the history of my family. Awesome to know your ethnicity. When I've needed support, my heritage has answered my questions and given me guidance.

The idea of being able to track back your family tree is great and kept my mind busy instead of dwelling on being made redundant during this pandemic, but when I hit a dead end on my father's side of the family I decided to cancel my free trail. I didn't expect to still be charged. £82.80 for a 'free' trial?! I cancelled within the time limit and followed the help guide that is on their website to make sure I had done this correctly, but for someone who has found themselves out of work this has brought on a lot more stress. I will be chasing for a refund.

On the brighter side of things, this is a good site to trace down your great, great, great grandparents. If it wasn't for the (what I'm sure is a genuine system mistake) of automatically taking funds, I would highly recommend the website.

Please be advised that MyHeritage informs all of any charge and its price on the automatic e-mail that is sent out after you enroll in a subscription and after every renewal or purchase a DNA kit. Also, one may view the status or cancel an annual subscription at any time when logging in to MyHeritage from the My Purchases page and incur no annual charge. When a customer cancels the free trial, a confirmation email is also sent to the customer.

Your member experience is very important to us and we really do value the satisfaction of all of our members. This is why our terms and conditions read that If you are not satisfied with your purchased plan you may request a full refund by contacting Customer Support within thirty (30) days of the initial purchase date of the subscription.

The data provided was not enlightening- it indicated that I was 95% Ashkenasi
Jewish. I knew this by speaking to my parents. Perhaps this service could be worthwhile to an orphan who did not know his parents.

I admit I was frustrated with the online instructions. When I emailed customer service regarding my problem they immediately responded. Within a few hours they fixed everything and I was back researching! They were pleasant, resourceful and timely. Thank you!

When we submitted our samples we mixed up our activation numbers. Working with JackO we were able to resolve the problem in 2 minutes. He was extremely cheerful, helpful and committed to resolving the problem. Great job!

Tried to debit my credit card and I have never given my details, not impressed. I am wondering if they are associated with Ancestory. Com as I have done a trial with them in the past and cancelled it before the 14 days were up.

Thanks to Naom for a very clear and concise help note for my query. I was being bombarded with Smart Matches from Family tree such as my great grandfathers sister's great aunt, etc.
I was able to solve that problem by gong to| 1. Log in to your family site.
2. Move your mouse cursor over ‘Discoveries' tab and select ‘Smart Matches'.
3. Sort your matches by people, select the person, and click on ‘View matches'.

4. You will reach the ‘Consensus page' for all of the matches for that individual. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and find the list of individual matches.
Click ‘Ignore this person'.
5. Clicking on it will bring up the following window. Click ‘Ignore matches' to confirm.

During January 6,2019, I phoned and discussed a confusing and very trying matter with technical support staff at MyHeritage. My web browser was not displaying information that I was certain was stored in my database, and I had convinced myself that the problem lie in some kind of a configuration problem or other malfunction at the MyHeritage site. Not so! In short order the problem was diagnosed by the technician who tackled my problem to be one of my own making, so to speak, and, step-by-step, he quickly and cheerfully marched me through the steps I needed to take to clear my extensive record of browsing data from the browser that I use. Problem solved! Thanks so very much, Aidan! During those five minutes, or so, you solved my problem and you did more public relations work for MyHertiage than you can possibly imagine.
