The instructions are excellent and easy to follow. I would like to see a change on item 3 and 6. To say.
3. Remove one of the cheek swabs from its plastic wrapper and use the jagged or the un evening edge, to scrape the inside of one of your cheeks for 30 - 60 seconds.
6. include the word jagged or un evening edge.

Due to forgetting passwords over the years, I had four MyH accounts with two active family trees... Your representative, JackC, patiently took me through deleting the two dormant accounts and merging the two family trees. He was really helpful and the best support I've come across on any website. My only frustration was trying to get thru to get help. The 3 hour difference is sometimes very inconvenient. However, once I got to tech support I had all the help I needed. The call ended being a 3-way call because my husband also came on the line. Our help made everything smooth and effortless. Thank you, thank you, Thank you, Judy and Jerry May

This was the easiest support I have ever used. The lady on the phone was from Ireland where my family comes from. She was great and it was so much fun talking with her. She solved our problem fast and easy. We got our DNA tests switched and we needed to switch the names on the tests. We were able to do it fast and easy.

The best genealogical site on the web, easy to use, user friendly interesting to start working with it and enjoyable to all members of the family, you can find family you did not know about and let them come to your circle and join your family tree, everybody can share pictures, comments and events and get in touch with all the rest.

I've been able to connect with family members abroad I didn't know I had! I've read stories of heroic relatives going through wars, braving the sailing ships of the Trading Companies, and even packing up their homes and emigrate because of the Highland Clearances of Scotland. What starts with a SmartMatch from someone else's tree quickly escalates into another adventure through time.
MyHeritage charges a basic fee for their service, but has many free links to databases with countless names, facts, and even photographs. Every morning as I sip my coffee, I can peruse the matches that were automatically made overnight, and I'm never disappointed.
As you can tell, I'm VERY pleased with the program and the times I offered feedback to customer service, I was responded to promptly, professionally, and personally (not an automated response). If you're at all interested in genealogy, this is the place to be!

Thanks today to Marcus for all his assistance in sorting out my dilemma. This issue had gone on for a couple years without satisfactory 'to me' correction. Somehow I paid for my subscription while in another match/persons account! So I had data access, but no contact access for matches. Warning be sure you are in YOUR OWN account when purchasing a membership - since I wasn't, all my automatic payments were going to another account! Only way to stop it was to discontinue membership which I did, first by email which didn't work, then by phone which did work - a prompt answer too, no waiting. After Marcus listened to my issue and got it corrected, I did sign up for the Premium Plus offer and get my $'s assigned to MY account. Thanks Marcus!

I am attempting to cancel my subscription (As of today, I have one day left on this subscription). I have tried to cancel it, but my password is not accepted. (Even though I am sure that my password is the one that I used initially when I set up this account). I have attempted to reset my password 3 times but have not received a response to my password reset request. I do not want to continue my membership and wish to cancel it but am now very close to the expiration time and I assume that I am now in danger of having an unwanted renewal charged to my credit card.
I feel that this site has very poor customer service support and should have a better system for providing prompt response to emails. For this reason, I would not consider signing up for this service in the future.

I got charged $147.34 that I was unaware of. I called and the rep took care of it under 2 minutes. I requested a refund, he gave it to me and canceled the account. He was extremely helpful and kind. If I decide to do my heritage again, I will definitely go through this company. Excellent customer service.

Had some problems with my family tree, some of them i several weeks. This morning at last I called - why didn't I call earlier?
All my questions got answered immediately, got an e-mail with a description to solve one problem an best of all: mistakes I had made became corrected at once. I am so satisfied!

My Heritage, where do I begin. My grandmother originally recommended this to me. This advice was the worse the she has ever given me. Yes even worse than her Christmas gifts. The platform was terrible and outdated. And when my free trial was over I canceled my subscription. A few days later I was charged $139, for no reason. It's a real shame I'll never find out what heritage my grandmother came from. I may never know what genes made her crazy enough to think this platform is anything but garbage! I would give you a zero but I can't do I give you a one.

I had two queries. 1. Sync with Family Tree Builder. Was told I had to wait 16 hours for sync to be available. Not sure of the normal procedure if I have entered more people into the online system how to achieve sync. I will have to contact My heritage again to answer this.
2. Duplication of people. This is a problem with Instant Discoveries which will generate the same people within the on line family tree.
After talking with Kiran (Ireland) She was able to explain the complications and I now have the task of deleting all the duplications of which there are many.
Kiran was of great assistance in increasing my knowledge of the system operation and this will help me to correct my online tree.

I am so disappointed with the My heritage team. I purchased a DNA kit as a girl for my mum for her birthday. They failed to send the kit. After several weeks of waiting i contacted them and they finally sent one out. My mum did the test and sent it in and its now been 5 months and we have not seen any results. Customer service is not helpful and doesn't respond properly. The amount of spam emails coming through is out of control. And to top it all off the charged my credit card again randomly 3 months after the original purchase. DEFIANTLY DONT USE MY HERITAGE

I wrote a critical review stating the kits had not arrived in time for Christmas and I was getting nowhere trying to contact MyHeritage. I was beginning to think it was a scam. After my review was published, Rafael from the company contacted me and from then on it was a pleasure to deal with them. They have refunded my money and I have informed the delivery company that the order has been cancelled and to return the kits. I would only say that they should make it clear to non US customers that the kits come from, and have to be returned to, the US, therefore could take time, and to make sure the local phone number is current.

I bought 6 kits to give as Christmas presents. I received an email to say they had been dispatched over two weeks ago and no sign of them so I have to find other presents. Have tried to ring the UK phone number given on the site and it is not recognised. I have sent them an email to cancel and ask for refund but have heard nothing back. Draw your own conclusions.

I bought a yearly subscription for information that basically readily available online. After two months, my subscription disappeared and i had no one to talk to. I had to resubscribe thinking it would find my subscription but it just charged me again. My DNA kit took two months to arrive and the kit that arrived had a different number than the one on the website. The number on the kit is not recognized and when I called them they said I would be put as a priority call and would get an answer in two days. After a week I sent them another message and they replied saying I should go to whoever I purchased it from. I showed them proof i bought it from them and they claimed I gave mine away as a gift and received this kit from another source (?!).
TL:DR, they made a mistake with my kit number and are refusing to recognize it now, they charged me twice for subscription. SCAM!

I'm still waiting for replies from their service reps.

I had a very positive experience, I needed help to transfer a tree website by GEDCOM. He was so patient, went step by step, and waited until I could see it was done. He took his time, since I am a senior citizen. I have always had great help with My Heritage team.
I love My Heritage. I am connected with close and distant cousin from all over the world... very exciting!

I was concerned when our; my wife and mine, DNA samples were not showing that they had been recorded on the database. The package was posted in Dunedin, New Zealand on 28 July 2017. After 20 days I became concerned. When call to MyHeritage I was assured they in all probability it would have been received but that it takes up to 30 days to be recorded because of the large volume received - my fingers are crossed and I hall wait till early September with baited breath!

I have been using their site for about 8 years and developed a wonderful family tree. Using their tools I have discovered lost branches of my family and my wife's family. I have uncovered records and documents about family members from previous generations and from all over the world.
Their customer support is very good, whether by email or by phone.

Rip off they trick you( Free trial) then charge you for 119.40 every year automatically, have to ask for a supervisor to get 50% refund! Wish more people would report them would of saved me money, head ach i hate the bait and switch tricks, they said they never received my cancelation, that i did the same night that i did the trial, bad customer service!

Please do not use this website or APP. I signed up for a free trial to try and find some record and couldn't find anything. I canceled my subscription, I even checked my Apple subscriptions to make sure it was not active and it was not. I was still charged $198. I have contacted support twice. I have gotten the same email twice with what I need to do for a refund. I sent everything they said they needed TWICE and then they stop responding. This is a SCAM. Don't even bother with the free trial or these scum bags will just take your money.

As an Irish person using myheritage.com the only thing I can access is Irish marriages and the census of 1901 and 1911 both of which are free to access from government websites. They don't do Irish Civil records on births and deaths which are available free to the public on irishgeneology.ie. They also don't have baptism records which are only available on findmypast.ie. The only thing I used myheritage for is its format for looking at the tree is very useful. I am sad I cannot attach documents to each individual member of the tree because Myheritage doesn't have them so I'm resorting to uploading them as photos instead.

My heritage needs to up its game for the Irish market because as of now I've literally used it only for the tree and other than the irish census done 100% of my research elsewhere. Great for English, American and Australians etc but for Irish ancestry? It's really bad.

I hope this review gets you on your toes to do something about it.
