I have been using MyHeritage for my family documentation for more than 5 years now and I love it very much. I keep using and updating my tree, finding new matches, and adding more and more info and details about my family. They give a very good service, professional and kind whenever I need them. And I feel very safe about my tree using their service. I highly recommend it.

I ordered more kits for my family and messed up the shipping address. It was really difficult to figure out whom to contact, the 0800 number wasn't in service anymore. I ended up emailing and also writing on Facebook messenger. A rep got back to me in a few hours. They sent new kits to the correct address, free of charge. The kits going to the wrong address were deactivated. The whole experience was really nice and I definitely will be ordering more kits soon!

I have log in in this site while I was looking to research my roots and I wanted only to see what information is available! The information was average nothing really was provided and I wasn't aware that my pay pal account details was taken at the time of registration. Yesterday after the 14 days expired I have been charged 165 USD for literally nothing! I immediately called the customer service based in UK where I waited for almost 10 min with no response and then the voice mail was activated! I left a message and I sent an email then immediately canceled the subscription, but I did not receive any consideration

Firstly, I must clarify that MyHeritage informs all of any charge and its price on the automatic e-mail that is sent out after you enroll in a subscription and after every renewal or purchase a DNA kit. Also, one may view the status or cancel an annual subscription at any time when logging in to MyHeritage from the My Purchases page and incur no annual charge.

Your member experience is very important to us and we really do value the satisfaction of all of our members. This is why our terms and conditions read that If you are not satisfied with your purchased plan you may request a full refund by contacting Customer Support within thirty (30) days of the initial purchase date of the subscription.

I would be more than happy to assist you personally with issuing you a full refund. In order to do so, I’m going to need to locate your account.

Sincerely, the My Heritage Team has always helped me out with all my questions, doubts, inquiries, etc.
The webpage is amazing and I have managed to achieve where my roots come from, something totally amazing and priceless.

I signed up for an account and got the app because it said it was free and had exclusive records. I was just hoping to supplement the extensive research my family has already done. I put in my information, and my parents and grandparents' information. I was shown 50+ family matches to approve. It showed me records added by my own brother on Wikitree, which is free, and then wouldn't let me view anything else without paying for a membership! Anyone who pays to use this is crazy because it is stealing free records and charging you to see them! An absolute SCAM!

MyHeritage family sites are based on subscriptions. Basic sites are free. If you are a member of a Basic site (a non-paying member), the limit of people that can be entered in the tree is 250 and the limit of storage space is 500 MB. This includes all family trees on the site, whether they were created online or in Family Tree Builder and published to the site afterward.

Our users can also benefit from Premium and PremiumPlus subscriptions, billed annually. You can choose the subscription type that best fits your needs and upgrade at any time.
Also Family Tree Builder – our genealogy software for setting up a family tree can be downloaded for free. Family Tree Builder also has some great features that are available only in the Premium version.
SuperSearch – our genealogy search engine can be searched for free.
SuperSearch is comprised of many free and paid historical record collections. Searches are free, but viewing records may require a Data Subscription.

I had a misunderstanding with a sales person who called me and offered Complete package for MyHeritage. I made a deal, but package was linked to wrong family tree. I wondered how to correct situation. I called to customer service number and there was a super good service by a very nice lady. Everything was corrected in a couple of minutes. She also gave me good tips on how to use MyHeritage.
I told her that we also took DNA samples which I will need to send from Finland to USA. I told her that a friend of mine gave me feedback how she newer got results for the test she had taken. I was told by customer serivece, that if results wont be available after six week, customers can contact MyHeritage and they will send you a new sample kit free of charge. This is good to know, since sometimes post can accidently loose sample letters, it doesn´t mean that you have to pay sample kit again, just let customer service know that you need new one.

I highly recommend MyHeritage for DNA test. They are very professional and supportive. They offered me a free replacement kit before my DNA sample receiving by lab with delay. It is so easy to track your DNA sample down by using the App or log in to your account on MyHeritage website. Also Evalien from support team was very helpful.

On November 24th, I bought a DNA kit and I still haven't received it. I have already sent an email, but I have not received a response. I also tried to contact the virtual assistant, but I didn't hear back. Upon checking with USPS, I found that the kit was not delivered due to an insufficient address. However, I verified that the registered address is correct. I am very disappointed! I still haven't received my money or my DNA kit.

Hi from New Zealand. This is the first time that I have ever written a review (good or bad) but I feel compelled to do so in this case as I received excellent and immediate response from the 'MyHeritage' support team to a problem I suddenly started to experience. I was dealing with a member of the team named Ron. I have been using 'MyHeritage' for quite some time and can thoroughly recommend it as a research tool for genealogists. After trying several suggested remedies to my problem Ron finally suggested checking my firewall, and this proved successful. I was very grateful for the assistance given which turned out to be no fault of the MyHeritage software but just one more unwanted issue of upgrading to Windows 10!

I bought 2 kits for a wonderful price because of Black Friday... I bought them last week, on Sunday 11/26. On Monday 11/04 I received an email saying that it was shipped.! I shouldve almost received it in the mail by then. In the email it then says that within 24/48 hrs I should be able to check back and see progress of my shipment. Well guess what, no progress yet I cant even click to see where my package is! I am already starting to regret choosing this site. I still have to wait for it to come and then send it out and wait for that to get there and then WAIT to receive my diagnosis.

Cancelled my free trial a day late and was charged, emailed asking for a full refund and they granted a full refund within a day of my email. Very friendly and polite response as well. A positive experience.

I am 98.9% Asian. They sent me an alert that I have 2nd to 3rd cousins, once removed who are all Anglo. Not one Asian. They also showed me as being "christened" at the Church of God in Belfast!. Never been there! I tried to delete myself from the website and the password that I used to logged in would not work was curiously the incorrect password!

Some time in the past I had a hard time talking with a technical support person. Not so today. Mr. Itai quickly verified my account and asked what he could do to help me. I had 4 topics. He quickly organized them into the proper order for consideration. He made excellent suggestions, and walked me through the process for using them. I couldn't ask for anything better.

I called today because a charge got put through to my credit card for membership and I don't want it. I have not used the site at all - as your records show. The agent who helped me (Mark) was very courteous and confirmed the charge had just gone through and that he would cancel it and that I would get a refund. That you're a refund friendly business. He also changed my email on file (which was incorrectly spelled)He explained I would received several emails including one confirming my refund. What I got was a confirmation that I renewed through 2020 and that at THAT TIME my subscription would be ended. And no refund. This is unacceptable. I don't want to be charged for something I do not use. This is terrible. And there is no email address for me to write, I need to get back on the phone and go through the call again. Very dissapointed.

When you requested the refund of your Annual Complete Package Subscription, Mark proceeded to stop the automatic renewal of your subscription first, to avoid any future charges. That explains the email that you received stating that your subscription would end on 2020. However, after that, he issued the full refund, and you should have received a second email confirming it.

I am satisfied with the service MyHeritage offered to me so far. I love my DNA results: it confirmed what I had known and surprised me with something. However the surprise appears in the other branche of the family tree. Must be true. From my father 's side I am Tatar from Krimea, but DNA shows it on the map, but not in pro cents. Maybe because I am a female it didn't show. I have just started and I have the whole year in front of me to do my research. I am in learning process of how to use the settings on MyHeritage.

I had questions that I needed help with so being an older than average person I decided to call the 25/7 number. The person that helped me was so caring and helpful and made sure my request was answered as we visited. I had decided that it would be helpful to put my maiden name in also since that's what people seem to be looking for. As we continued to visit he said he was in Cork (?) Ireland which I found very exciting because my DNA just came back as 52.4% Irish--thanks Shoham! MyHeritage has reached me with other informative statements to help me on this journey. I would suggest to anyone in this kind of quest to chose this site for the place to start---you couldn't go wrong!

Again, the techs were so helpful in solving my project problem. I had tried to solve a sync problem. In a short period of time tha problem was taken care of by the tech Nadja.

She was very good at explaining the situation and very welcoming.

I was on the verge of testy today when I called MyHeritage. Frustrated with the phone tree because I *knew* I had paid for a subscription but I couldn't get in because it didn't recognize me.
Because of that and the problem about which I was calling, I figured I had 2 accounts under 2 different email addresses, and that turned out to be true. The customer service agent -- DylanK? -- helped me through the whole thing, making the switch incredibly easy. After the earlier frustration, that was a relief. He was patient and not condescending. Thanks, MyHeritage!
