We had considerable difficulty in downloading the Raw Data from our DNA tests. Maya spent considerable time in helping us to fix the problems we were having with Edge Browser and our Mail app. Her patience and help resolved our problem and we now have our raw data and assistance in interpreting it.
Thank you Maya

All I have to say is MyHertiage is the best site for Geneology research and I started mine in 2000 and have been to a few. I can't get to this site enough. The staff that dealt with my question was really helpful.

A member of My Heritage for almost 7 years and my contact with MyHeritage Support (Linoy) recently was without doubt the best of any call centre that I have used. Friendly, helpful and a desire to resolve my problems and the follow up from "Support" was exceptional. Very happy with "My Heritage" and have recommended them to others many times over the years.

Uploaded my DNA from 23 and me. 23 and me was pretty spot on with my ethnicity (which I pretty much already knew, except for a little extra). My mother is straight off the boat from Engand, as British as they get, and I have my family traced back for generations (as in, middle ages). Funny though, myheritage tells me I am 0% English, hahahaha. Thanks for the joke. Better luck next time (unless you go out of business for being complete BS and a waste of time!).

I had unfortunately been unable to continue using MyHeritage and had forgotten to cancel my subscription before the next annual payment came out of my credit card account. The CSR Pauline was very pleasant to deal with and was quick and effiicient and had no hesitation in cancelling my account and arranging the reversal of the payment - no questions asked and no pressure upselling, which is very rare these days! Thank you!

Brand new member of My Heritage I stranded in the website labyrinth. Called costumer service in the Netherlands and spoke to Brigitte B. An excellent contact. She helped me in a fastastic way, showing me several options, changing my type of subscription so that I could do research and taking away my desparate feeling. And some extra information in an e-mail message. Great helper. Thanks so much. Marie-José

I bought and paid for this service for one year and never once got a reply when I asked for help. I was charged for the following year and had to fight to get my money credited to my account when I tried to tell them I didn't want it a second year. Their customer service representative was a very angry hostile man and when I asked for his manager he said he was the manager and there was no one else above him that I could talk to. They locked me out so that I can no longer simply view all of the work that I did toward my ancestry during the first year. As I said, A DREADFUL experience.

I had to cancel my order for personal and economical reasons. I contacted my herrutage via email. Although it took them three days to reply they canceled my order and i got my refund. Those three days were stressful, cause i wasnt sure if they would cancel an already sent order but thankfully they did.

I was having issues with resetting my password, (I'm a new user), and the MyHeritage support person, (PaulineG I think), was very helpful and quickly got me back online and into the MyHeritage web site. She had a lot of patience with my questions and I appreciate her customer service. Thank you.

My kit was sent by confirmed mail. I got the information that they received it on the 8th of February. Yet it only appeared received on 22nd Feb in their website.
Meanwhile I was worried that my DNA kit was lost I email the customer support on the 22nd of february. But no one replied until today 14th March. Almost a month later to tell me the package was received.
They say procedure takes 3 to 4 weeks. Yet last week a month passed and results are not out yet.
Nothing Tra so aren't about this service. I wonder if the DNA info will come out real or also they would lie about it the way they lied about not receiving the Package.

How can I contact someone about canceling my membership immediately? I have emailed several times and if I phone I am placed almost 20 wainting. I did not want it renewed and they took the payment out of my charge account. I requested they stop my membership and they make it effective a year from now. I want a refund now!

Site and 1st set of DNA kits went OK, I then ordered 3 more kits on the holiday special and only 2 arrived in the shipment.
Contacted support (email) took some time and they gave weird answer so I restated that they should read my 1st email which contained the kit ID's and photo of shipment with missing kit.
The final answer I got was that they would re-ship 3 kits (i only needed one) and then they cancelled the kit ID's I already had, one of which I had already used to collect sample.
It seems that support does not under stand english and has random answers to move the ticket along that does not relate to the problem.

Dear MyHeritage HR and management team. First, I want to tell you a little about myself. I have flown all over the world for work from Japan, China to Hungary, Spain. Italy and multiple other countries for work. So, with that being said when you see customer service as excellent as I have witnessed with the MyHeritage team I felt it important to let you know that you are getting it right. This is what separates a good company from the best in class. I consider you the best in class and that is due to people like Isabelle from Ireland and Zvonimer. In my opinion I would look to bring both into a role of train the trainer. They offer so much to a great team. Please forward this review to each of their supervisors and may God Bless you, your team, your co-workers and all you friends through this coronavirus pandemic. Have a great upcoming year and again great job to each of you. Thank you, Mike Garvonic Clinton Township Michigan USA,

I have been a member of MyHeritage for a few years and have no complaints with their service. Their frequent communications are a great help in developing ones family history, although I do have some reservations about the accuracy of some data form Family Search and Geni World.

I had a problem that came from my own stupidity. It took a couple of work arounds to get to e-mail help, but when Judit dealt with my complaint, everything went swimminingly well. I think My Heritage support did a good job for me.
I'm probably what you'd call a genealogy power user, and My Heritage does not give me as much as Ancestry used to, but I'm happy to go with it for a while because has impressive international collections it has, and through the new Legacy Family Tree deal, I got a good price.
I'm with Family Tree DNA which is very comprehensive, but I appreciate the MyHeritage capability of uploading results.
Will I auto renewal? No, but a year's worth is OK.

Have a ******* person in a Family tree from My Heritage and used it Several years. Now it happened a brake when uploading Syncing the tree´s. Heart attach was near. When looked on the Site I couldn't find my tree. Gone... tried several time, no, no success. Write a mail for help... After a short time got a mail to try again. Then have succeeded to upload a new tree... now its quite okay... thought it was something which stopped the upload because of the old tree was corrupt. They fixed it and don´t now what happened. But therefor I have several copies on my computers... Its only frustrating when it happened and the time to fix a new again... Its much work behind the tree and every time then thinking of to have to do it again. Thanks for all help and in so short time... thanks from all of my heart

I was most impressed with the help and support I received from Mayra at MyHeritage. She had my issue resolved a few hours after I sent an email to the Help Support Team. Thanks so much Mayra. I am looking forward to working on my family tree again and researching some of the matches I have received from MyHeritage notifications.

Today I had a lot of questions for different areas, and met Talia Sofie who spoke my own language. She was listening patiently, and gave me a lot of good information included experience from her own family tree building. The questions she qould not answer will be investigated and answered in a few days. She was very polite, and helpfull even if most questions were not "her department". Very good+++! :o)

My DNA kit was a total joke, different from 23andme and Gedmatch. My family is colonial America on the Mayflower, Spanish, Native American, British/ Irish and French Canadian. My results are totally different from 23andme and GED match. Usually get DNA from North Africa or Israel/area near there or East Asia. Instead got Scandinavian 45.1%. On myhertitage and 1.9% 23andme, and GEDmatch has Fennoscandian 15.9%. Dark hair, hazel eyes, short/small, no back hair, big lips, and high check bones, not a description of a Scandinavian.

I know my familys history back to the 1800s. My father is Sardinian back as far as they can remember; my husbands family is half English/Scottish and half Icelandic/English. The results had no British, no Sardinian, no Icelandic, and a little Native American thrown in, which is impossible. Not sure how the algorithms are supposed to work, but they didnt for me. Waste of money.

Dear Mary,
I'm sorry to read your low star review.
I'd like to clarify the current ethnicity estimate doesn't necessarily mean that you do not have British, Sardinian, Icelandic, or even Native American heritage.
For your information, the percentages of DNA a person receives from his ancestors at the level of grandparents and further back (Great-grandparents, etc.) are not necessarily divided evenly in each generation. You indeed inherit 50 % of the DNA from your mother, and 50 % from your father. However, segments are inherited randomly. On that note, when parents conceive a child their DNA goes through recombination. You can imagine that the mother's code looks like AAAA and the father's code looks like XXXX. Now the child may receive the code AXAX and it so happens to be that AXAX is another segment that may code for another ethnicity.
Moreover, if you have ancestors of a specific ethnicity it could be of such a low amount that the ethnicity estimate could not find a percentage from our references. To estimate your ancestral ethnicity, MyHeritage compares your DNA with the DNA of living people around the globe whose genetic ethnicity is known. We call these people the Founder Populations. This study is currently ongoing and new references will be applied to your DNA as long as you have it uploaded at MYHeritage in the future.
With regards to DNA in it is indeed found that people within surrounding countries in Europe share common DNA for various reasons such as people moving around frequently and official borders and communities being occupied. Please keep in mind that it is difficult to build a distinct profile for Great Britain and Scandinavian countries, as those are admixed with Western European DNA. As you may know, Anglo-Saxon people settled the British Isles, and they were comprised of Germanic tribes. Therefore we keep the current version of our estimate on a higher regional level.
The same applies to Native American DNA. Though you might have Native American DNA, it might belong to a tribe that is not part of the sampling used to build our Ethnicity Estimate. There are more than 500 recognized tribes which are ethnically, culturally and linguistically diverse. However, the majority of these tribes have not contributed their DNA for research purposes which would allow science to establish better ethnicity models. Therefore, the fact that we did not find Native American DNA in your sample does not mean that you are not Native American. Therefore, If your Native American ethnicity does not appear in the Ethnicity Estimate, you might also consider testing one of your parents or grandparents as it is more likely that Native American DNA will be traced in the generations closer to the Native American ancestor.
Most importantly, I'd like to inform you that the progress of your DNA research and your overall satisfaction is extremely important to us. If you need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at rafael.vipsupport@myheritage.com so I may assist you with high priority.
Sincerely
Rafael

Hi Jennifer,
I regret to find you are unhappy with your Ethnicity Estimate. I understand that you have researched your British ancestry and find no British in your ethnicity estimate.
It is very important for me to investigate why this is so, as we consider feedback such as this to be very essential to enhancing our research products.
In order to investigate this, I will need to locate your account with your raw DNA that has been uploaded.
Please contact me directly from your registered e-mail address at rafael.vipsupport@myheritage.com so I may locate your account at your nearest convenience.
You already have my first priority here and I will be looking for your e-mail.
