I have been using Legacy8 for 2 years and all of a sudden I cant print more than 4 generations of ancestors. I was told to put my customer code in the help box but it made no difference. I told customer support via email (because they have made their best effort to avoid talking to humans) and got a return email that told me to put my customer code in the help box. No help there. So I upgraded to the latest update of Legacy8 and now all I get now when I try to run my Legacy 8 is a screen demanding that I upgrade to Legacy9. When I try to close the Legacy9 upgrade window I get a runtime error and Legacy8 shuts down - unusable now. So I ordered Legacy9 but I am afraid to use it. I am now sitting and waiting for some mysterious person to contact me and tell me what to do... but its hard to solve MuHeritages's problems via a slow moving email system.

Paid for a DNA test, After 6 weeks got results only to find I cannot look at any of my matches unless I pay a YEARS SUBSCRIPTION in advance. They charge you for the test and then want £140 off you to subscribe when other sites have matches for free... Dont get me started on their "customer service"... contantly rings and then a message saying its closed... absolute con!

Testing your DNA with MyHeritage provides you with two types of results that do not require an additional payment:
An Ethnicity Estimate - a comprehensive breakdown of your unique DNA composition. You will discover where your heritage originated from and how much each ethnicity is part of your ancestral origins, and even view the main life events of your direct ancestors on the Ethnicity map.
DNA Matches - This technology compares data from autosomal DNA tests results and family trees to identify matches between users that share genetic sequences and indicate a family relationship.
That being said, some features require a paid membership to ensure the development and upkeep of our research tools. We have several additional memberships that vary in price to accommodate one's research needs and budget. Some of our members prefer to only pay for some features as they don't really use the entire array of tools we offer. I had to wait about 30 minutes before it was my turn in the queue.

I was test driving the site and filling out information I'd found out on my own. A few hours later, I got a phone call from a sales rep. I DID NOT GIVE THEM MY CELL NUMBER! Do not even sign up for this site. The fact that they're aggressively selling their product is a major red flag. Beware.

My wife and I purchased the DNA kits and I activated mine with a little used email account and my wife's on our usual one. Naturally we got concerned about the lack of notifications for my sample so I phone the 0800 number.
From MY number Dana was able to see that I had purchased two kits, they had received them both and which email address I had used... GENIUS!

Have tried on numerous occasions to contact this company and no one replies back.
Be very careful with this company as I got charged for something I did not order or authorise and they have failed to respond to me. I called and got no answer and have emailed a complaint and was given a case number but nothing has happened since then. This was middle of February and still no reply.
I was charged over £50 for something I did not order and it wasn't even in my name as I've never been on this site.
Coning, Robbing and untrustworthy.

I had a problem synching my online trees with the FTB software on my PC - not for the first time. On both occasions I got little joy by emailing for support but I got excellent support from staff on the phone (this time it was Lydia, and Melissa) who were polite, patient and skilled. My system is now working fine.

I recently received the results of my DNA test and while I found it fascinating, I was surprised that there were no Scots in my result, as there are a lot in my heritage. I rang the 0800 number and spoke to a very helpful staff member called Meagan, who explained the way that parental DNA works and why my sister had such a different result to me. I am looking forward to following the leads I now have.

I was having great difficulty in syncronising my FTB and Web Site due mainly to my error in creating two trees under my web site. I left a message yesterday and this morning got a call back and Brigitte was very helpful indeed and has sorted out my issue and clean my site up with regards deleting the second tree and making sure only one main tree existed on my site. Brigitte was very polite and professional in how she helped me and it was a pleasure to chat with her. There is one outstanding issue generally with MyHeritage on viewing Historical record matches from FTB but they are aware of this and the Technical Team are trying to sort it out. MyHeritage identified a software bug in their system which explains why my GEDCOM download from MH was corrupted. In compensation they have provided a free 3-months Premiumplus Subscription. Remains to be seen if the bug is removed before that subscription expires.

Poor (the worst!) customer service I've seen in a long time. It takes DAYS for them to respond to support request emails, and then, more times than not, they don't answer the question I've asked. Like was mentioned before, I was first billed $131 when I decided to try MyHeritage for one year, but then 4 days later I was billed an additional $119.40. I've called my credit card company to dispute the charges. THESE GUYS DON'T DELIVER WHAT THEY PROMISE... GO with Ancestry.com -- much better service and quality of records.

In migrating from a PC to a Macbook, I was unable to restore my tree into Family Tree Builder on my new laptop. The support team gave me step-by-step instructions to diagnose the problem and then offered the right solution. I am up and running again thanks to the MyHeritage support team!

My kit took 5 months to arrive and the results weren't entirely accurate. The information from my heritage website was awful and made me upload my information to a third party website to actually even SEE what my results were. Don't buy through this company. Stick with NatGeo.

After 3 weeks, myheritage cannot find any matches for my DNA upload. I did the same with GEDmatch, 500-600 matches within 24 hours.
I think the Myheritage DNA match service is a con, they quite clearly do not have either the skills or the data to work with, yet do not admit it.
Use Gedmatch, its free and very very professsional

I tried to call about an invoice, but as no membership number was mentioned om the invoice I had received, I had to log in and find it on the website. I wasn't succesfull in this. I received my kit, and my results in a timely manor, it all went down hill from there. My DNA test from My Heritage showed no evidence of my American Indian ethnicity, but I have records that indicate that I'm of Indian descent The people that were listed as sharing my DNA do not exist in my family tree. After I sent an e-mail to complain, I could not longer access the information that was sent to me in its entirety. I don't understand what's going on and I cannot reach My Heritage by phone.
