I taked to a very nice person who treated me very well, but I have not seen any real help. I had this very nice person help me upload my DNA, and have been watching to see some results. Since it has been more than a week ago, I expected to see something show up on my account. Nothing has showed up. I'm very sad.

I know that there are other apps where is easier to find past documentation, but I am very happy with My Heritage, it's easy to move on it and whenever I had a doubt I had a great and quickly response. I would like to thank MAOR who spend time solving my doubts with pacience and excellent explanations.

My mother had her DNA test with My Heritage and I think the results were very accurate. There is always room for improvement.

I was directed to my heritage for a 7 day free trial only to find out what i was looking for was not on there, i immediately unsubscribed only to find out they billed my credit card $109 30 I phoned there NZ number waited 20 min for an operator she wanted to cancel next years subscription but said I never unsubscribed I told her I was going to go on fair go etc and she changed her manner and said she would get a manager to ring me, after 3 days I had a call from a South African man trying to tell me they sent me emails on how to unsubscribe which was bull, after he said we will meet me half way and refund half of my subscription I told him that was not acceptable and said he would refund back into my credit card the full amount, waiting to see this happen. I like the fact that one can upload a GEDcom for free. Here are the instructions:

What I didn't like is the fact that only part of my GEDcom is viewable for free. Another thing I do not like is that even though MyHeritage says they will bill you annually if you do not have a debit or credit card. But once the process is finished, MYHeritage asks you to then download the form, print it out and mail it in with your annual subscription. This is deceptive.

Thank you for posting a review here on SiteJabber for us. I would just like to clear up for you a couple of the issues that you have mentioned.
A MyHeritage family site at a Basic level has a limit of 250 people. Should your GEDCOM file be larger than this limit then only part of the file will be uploaded.
With regards to the printing of the form for payment. This only happens when you do not have a Debit or Credit card and you wish to pay via bank transfer for your subscription as there is no other physical way to charge you offline.

Short version, one year ago after submitting my DNA test I was heart broken. The only matches I had were 4th and 5th cousins. My mom had always kept my dad a secret from me. All I knew was his name and that he was from Michigan. I would check My Heritage website every week hoping for a match. I had even tried other DNA sites. After a few months I started thinking these DNA sites are bogus they are just ripping people off. Then last week with what little hope I had left I checked My Heritage for matches. I could not believe my eyes. I had a 28.6% match. I filled with excitedment. This was as close as I had been. I wrote the lady that I shared DNA with and it turns out she is my aunt. My dads sister. I have not been in touch with my dad yet. I was told he is kind of a free spirit. My life changed over night from having little family to gaining a huge family that welcomes me with open arms. Thank you My Heritage for changing my life. Thanks to my husband who bought me the My Heritage DNA kit for Christmas in 2016.

The support I recieved today by calling them was fantastic, The woman was very helpful, and made me understand the issue I was having, However, I sent them an email regarding this issue 3 weeks ago, and NEVEB got a response. She saw that and apologized, but I would not suggest Emailing when have an issue, This is a great site to build your tree, gives you lots of help, and you can build it back to the year 1500 without too much effort. Time, but not effort, LOL

I had ordered a test kit but didn't see how to have it shipped to my mom. I called and they added her address for the shipping so that my mom would get it for her birthday.

Their data base in USA is not as broad, nowhere near as broad as Ancestry.com. And they cost $$$ 3 times as much as ancestry.com. Do not use this for your DNA genealogy you will be disappointed.

I signed up for the 14 day free trial with MyHeritage, and then cancelled it after I felt that I hadn't found what I was looking for. But this morning I was charge $137.19 for a subscription. When I called the company's number, it just goes to an automated voicemail, which is useless. I couldn't even speak to a live representative. I WANT A REFUND IMMEDIATELY.

So far, I've been quite pleased with MyHeritage's customer service. My DNA results were delayed because I ordered them during the Thanksgiving sale when the company was overwhelmed--and then, the company had to use the second sample because the results couldn't be read on the first. I contacted the company when each event happened, and customer services reps reassured me all was well. And it was. I received my results and contacted the reps with any questions. Since then, I have not encountered problems. Nevertheless, because after I posted a link on Facebook and notes about findings for siblings, nephews and nieces, first cousins and their children, I went to the MyHeritage Facebook page. There, I read horror stories about MyHeritage billing persons--without their knowledge--for Premium accounts. Thus, I phoned the company tonight to ensure that my plan would downgrade to Basic after the Premium account ended. Lorna assured me that it would--and I could phone should something go awry. She was courteous, informative, and understood my concerns. I will monitor the account--and the webpage details how to downgrade to Basic. I urge all users to check their accounts and do the same to avoid being charged for a plan they didn't opt to use. And thanks again, Lorna, for your kind help.

My husband bought the DNA for me for Christmas I was so happy with the test and results and would give you 5 stars, HOWEVER to get more information you need to subscribe... so no a big issue I have that with ancestry my problem with MYheritage is that you want the WHOLE year up front, I can not afford to do that, monthly like I have on ancestry I can afford and have had very good matches. I do have stuff come up on heritage that I would love to see but not for the yearly cost at one time. I think that your site needs to review that not every one can afford to pay up front and you could get more people interested if you broke it to monthy, Thank you for letting me vent.

MyHeritage offers an assembly of paid subscriptions that will fit your research and budget. But, we also have a free basic membership and a free downloadable Family Tree Builder program.
Testing your DNA with MyHeritage provides you with two types of results that do not require an additional payment:
An Ethnicity Estimate - a comprehensive breakdown of your unique DNA composition. You will discover where your heritage originated from and how much each ethnicity is part of your ancestral origins, and even view the main life events of your direct ancestors on the Ethnicity map.
DNA Matches - This technology compares data from autosomal DNA tests results and family trees to identify matches between users that share genetic sequences and indicate a family relationship. You may contact your matches at no extra charge as well.
Please keep in mind though that some records in SuperSearch are free (e.g. BillionGraves, Social Security Death Index).
That being said, some features require a paid membership to ensure the development and upkeep of our research tools. We have several additional memberships that vary in price to accommodate one's research needs and budget.

I'm sorry to read your bad review and I will do all I can to help. We currently do not have an option that will allow you to print out your results but we are have many requests for this and we are working on creating a feature of the sort. In the meantime, there is a workaround that I recommend that personally works for me. What I did was simply take a screenshot of the results on my computer and than I printed that screenshot out.
To take a screenshot of your ethnicity report:
Log into your account and view your Ethnicity estimate.
Hold down Alt and press ⎙ PrtScr.
An image of the window will be copied to the clipboard.
This will allow you to paste or view the screenshot in a photo viewer and simply print it.
Nonetheless, you mentioned that you have talked to Bridgette and she promised you to send your results to you and I would also like to ensure you receive it. In order to do so, I'm going to need to locate your account. I unfortunately am unable to locate your account under the name "gary s." that I see here on site jabber.
