DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO... they will use your credit info without your approval. They will disquise their site and then flip to theirs after thy garner your information on what you think is a credible genealogical site. If sent a email from them do not open or in anyway agree to cnanging the information they have sent you. BEWARE this is the secong time I have incurred this issue with this website. BEWARE

There ppl have extremely pushing behavior. Their work from home sales ppl do not take NO for an answer even I told them time and time again within the same phone call NO I M NOT INTERESTED. Price goes from $400, us to $350us to $190us to $134us during all this I kept saying nononononononono. They are like drug dealers pushing on you and pushing. They have a way about making sure that a person will never deal with them again.

The day after i purcased the dna-analysis, i regreted it. I just called the number on the "help" site. I just told them that i regret my buying of the dnakit. That was ok she said. Very shortly after i got an email from them, whitc told me that my money woud be on my account in 4-5 days. Shortly after i got the same email from pay-pal. I think this is a good standard on personal service on a helpdesk.

Signed up for trial month. Was familiar with other services which charged by the month so I thought I'd go another month. Was SHOCKED when I was charged for the full year. Just a few days after I saw the charge -- not using the service in the meantime -- I called asking for refund. Representative was condescending and gave me only 40% back, even though they say full refund within 30 days on their site. They may have good sources for research, but their business practices are not good.
A few days after posting this review, rep called and explained over and over why they couldn't refund -- I should have read their small print. And, yes, I should have, but they still should have given me my money back since I didn't use it after seeing the charge. The only time I used it was during their 14-day free trial. But, yes, I should have read the small print. The second customer service rep was not condescending.
I can make my case 'til I'm blue in the face, but I should have read the small print thoroughly. They do have a good set of records to go through. I do wish they charged by the month, however. If they did, I'd still be with them. $12 or $13 a month is a lot easier to okay than $149 all at once.
Tip for consumers:
READ the small print. They charge for the whole year all at once.

I have had a number of issues with My Heritage and after trying to contact Customer Service several times, I finally wrote a letter to the CEO in Lehi, Utah. Several days later I received a call from someone in the corporate structure who told me the technical support team was in Israel and they observe the sabbath and would call me Monday, February 26th. NOT A WORD OR A CALL! Terribly disappointed.
