Got an email my password was compromised a few days back. I'm so glad MyHeritage informs there customers sooner than later. Customer services was on top of it, gave me a temp password and stuck around while I changed to my new password.

MyHeritage is an excellent search engine that facilitates the location of long lost relatives and family members. It provides effective access to billions of records world wide.
On the human side, behind MyHeritage there are a very warm, keen and extremely helpful group of people. I highly recommend MyHeritage.

I use this program for several years with great pleasure. Especially the so-called 'smart matches' often give much extra information about the family-tree from other users of this program. A must for everyone who is working on his family tree.

I was searching for a long time a good way to create a Family tree... I just started to write down notes on paper... when I try out searching on the web. After trying 2 or 3 websites (that not satisfied me since the first 10 minutes I used), I found out MyHeritage!
This was really well made, easy to use, and I liked a lot the graphic design! I liked that I could have control of everything by moving with the mouse or zoom in or zoom out over each person added etc.
Also, great support center, they try everything to help you if you can't understand something!
I'm very happy and totally satisfied! Thanks!

Lydia was very good and made lots of changes on my behalf whereby in profiles relatives were multiply added.
I did however find it difficult to understand how to do it myself with out deleting a lot of people and maybe having to add some back in again elsewhere

I would never write a review again on this site. I wrote one several days ago and it is not even online. My mother's DNA did not even mention the country that almost all of her relatives came from. Buy DNA kits from Ancestry which I have done twice.

I subscribed to My Heritage at a special price of $75 for the "Complete" subscription in February 2020. There were certain features of this site that I did like but others that were not useful to me, given the point of my genealogy research. I recently received an email notification that my subscription would automatically renew at a price of $299. There is nowhere on their site, that I can find, that shows the various subscription levels and their costs. There is nowhere on their site where I can view or change my method of payment, or to remove the automatic renewal feature. I tried to contact customer support at the number provided on their site but gave up after being placed on hold for over 30 minutes. My only alternative is to cancel my subscription, which they do allow for online, just before they plan to renew my subscription.

This is the first time I have rung Myheritage to ask a question. The professional attitude and easy manner in which Shimon helped me with my Inquiry was outstanding. I have been using My Family Heritage for some years now and after some teething issues at the beginning, now find the program quite user friendly. If I had any concerns it would be about the charges and levels of membership. I would like to see maybe another level below Premier Plus as I have just about finished my direct family tree but still like to be able to use some of the "smart tools".
The support staff go beyond what is normally expected and receive. They have answered all of my concerns within 24 hrs and always with a "user friendly" solution, thanks.

Mostly ok but I can't seem to view documents ( could last week and now nothing) such as census records and there is no e-mail to contact. It would be better if there was a designated customer care dept via e-mail.

After using this software for some years I found that with their latest upgrades the privacy protection is not what it claimed to be... with the "discovery" option you can add up to 50 people with one click... as I have no problem sharing my info with "newly" found relatives. It does bother me that a non related person (5th cousin of an ex-wife of my "half" nephew) can just with one click copy a branch of my tree. Had to cancel the membership and of course got no refund at all... what was offered to me that I can still research their database... very disappointed to say the least...

My appreciation for a job well done. I had an issue with one of the Email addresses associated with my MyHeritage account. After attempting to Download my raw DNA file, for a few days, I finally broke down and made the call. After sitting thru 23 other users in the Que, I figured I would try again later. Well later meant sitting thru another 15 folks with issues. I hung out and waited. Finally this lovely person, Maya, got on line and within 10 minutes I had my file. It meant using an alternate email address, but it did work. Not only did she solve the one issue, but corrected the original problem. Now that's what customer service should be all about. Great job, Maya, Thank you.

Be very careful and read your invoice. When I ordered they slipped in an annual subscription without my knowledge. It was free for a month and then the charge would have been 149.00 annually starting the following month after my purchase. Getting it fixed was not so hard. Getting the information that they did not cancel but still charge me for the actual DNA kit was not so easily done. They did not email me to tell me the product had shipped (as I was told would happen). I called 3 days in a row trying to get information and it was not until late evening on the third day that I finally got confirmation. The kit has not arrived yet and I am skeptical about how easy it will be to get any results back. When a transaction starts our shady a person tends to think the rest of the transaction is not going to end much better. Check your final invoice before closing out the screen. No one needs a 124.00 withdrawal surprise!

I haven't received the product yet. I am just warning people to be careful ordering this product so they don't get hit with hidden charges.

A few hours later sbdy calls you back... If you're not available you can postpone to another day & hour.
And it works! The D day H hour the person calls you back. You can explain your problem,... and contrary to most of the technical supports I've been in touch with, the online person really can help you, she knows the product, listens carefully to you and provide you the solution.

My recent experience with MyHeritage Genealogy/ancestry is horrible. I was talked into a Premium Support account which is also horrible. One person after another in there support department is an idiot! Yes, if they think they can sell you something, they are so friendly, but is you are have trouble, forget about it. I's not saying they're worse than any of the others, they probably all are bad.

Do you're research, there are lots of hidden expenses they we want to sell you.

Thank you Rafael for prompt assistance to update my "family invite" e-mail address.
I like the "discovery" and "compare" function. It makes research a pleasure.
The family tree is an online heritage that can be transferred from one generation to another.
I would like to see MyHeritage integrate with the data of the Genealogy Association of South Africa and other countries.
In the four years I've been a member I've seen the programme grow, improve and diversify into a super family tree builder. And serves me in my home language. Thank you!

Due to possible web site errors (or me), my card was charged twice. I emailed customer service and got almost immediate resolution that day. I would have given 5 stars, but I was disappointed no one answered the phone before I decided to email.

When I first saw this website offered I was not really impressed until they added their Family Tree Builder application. I have been doing family history work for the past forty years and have seen pretty much everything available. This website allows to actually look at every website all at once. The research goes much faster when you have cooperating sources. I have very pleased with the way this websites tech team comes to the aid of their customers. They are polite and do not try to snow you with words that you don't understand. I wholeheartedly salute the folks here and hope that others will see their potential.

It has been 8 days since I placed and order. I just got an email today that they are processing it and will be sending US mail. I paid $ 10.00 to have sometime mailed? Also this means that although ordered in plenty of time I may not have to give on Christmas. So far I am not impressed with the company

Here I go again with praise for My Heritage support team.
I had a problem with the synchronization of my family tree with the online site. First I wrote them, then discovered they have a toll free telephone number with 24/7 service, so of course I called. Between Connor & Jonathan we quickly had the problem solved. They emailed me instruction to follow, which I did & was up & running as it should in no time flat.
Needless to say I was very pleased with the service provided by two knowledgeable & courteous young men.

Seems like something very interesting to go on this journey, but not something I'm ready to do in it's entirety right now. Signed up for a trial subscription, but forgot to cancel right at the end of the trial period. They were kind enough though to refund me without any hassles. Very good customer service. I'm sure I'll be back at some stage later. Thanks.

Myheritage is a big class. The easy public search allows the worldwide search in more than 100 million profiles and can be differentiated after living or already died persons as well as after natal name or surname. This main entrance for the production of own family family tree offers the easy possibility, in the family trees of other members look for a name. For a long time past and astonishing is indicated thus. With the constant extensions of the program circumference, come up for every user unexpected possibilities to perfect his data continuance constantly. From my long-standing use of Myheritage I can recommend this program to all without limitation because it is relatively easy very extensively and many-sided, however, in the service.

I did not experience any problem from initially purchasing a kit for testing, to the emailing of my DNA test results. The process is efficient and transparent and one can check progress on the website during the event.

I have also telephoned with an enquiry on two occasions during the process and both times received polite and helpful info that fully answered my questions. The latest contact was with Gerard O'Brien and he resolved my enquiry effectively.

No complaints of any kind here- only praise.
