My Heritage is The site for all serious searchers of their roots. Their support system us unsurpassed. I have been a members for Years and naturally if have inched further back in time searching for my ancestors so i have from time to time had need iof support regarding me managing my site etc. My issue has always been solved.

To me the program is very useful for both beginners and experienced users with a ton of information at ones finger tips some things are yet to be solved by me but with the help of My Heritage staff we will overcome them I recommend the program to all.

About 2 years ago I bought a DNA Testing Kit for $100.00, which I did and posted off. I never heard anything back, but I thought it would take a long time because of covid and so on. Eventually, I contacted the Help Centre at myheritage.com and was assisted by a very kind lady who told me I would be sent a new Kit for FREE! Yay! I think the problem was to do with the cost of posting the Kit to Houston, Texas. You get an addressed envelope with the Kit, but I'm sure that's only viable for people in America. And, if you live in Melbourne, Australia, then you need to pay extra postage to make sure that your DNA Testing Kit gets to the right place. Anyway, I'm very pleased with the service I received. Tip for consumers:
If you buy one of the DNA Testing Kits, it will come with an enclosed and addressed envelope that you, obviously, put the Testing Kit into and then post. However, the address you need to send it to is in Houston, Texas, America, so I think you need to pay extra for the full cost of the postage. The DNA Testing Kits are, no doubt, fine to send to Texas if you're already in America, but they're NOT going to get to their destination if you're in Australia. So pay the extra postage!

Needed to get a payment reversed
Needed to get a payment reversed. (Paid for something I didn't need). My call was answered very quickly by IVAN who knew exactly what I was trying to say (I didn't know how to explain it) and made the reversal right there and then, while we chatted about his country (that I had visited as a child). Altogether a lovely outcome.

I waited 45 minutes to speak to an agent to cancel my data subscription. The agent who answered once he found the reason I called put me on hold and said I had to speak with the agent who took my order. He was busy but would call me back. I waited all day. No one called. I had the person I spoke with repeat my telephone number. He had my number, can't use the excuse that he called me but reached the wrong number. Long Wait and broke their promise to call me. This is a red flag for me. If I can't trust a company I won't do business with them.

I had a problem with viewing chromosome data. I was able to get through very quickly and get an initial response easily that confirmed I was right to raise my query and my problem was referred to their technical team. It took four days to get a reply but this was to the point and it turned out to be due to the way I had set my privacy settings. A pleasure to find a company that makes raising a problem easy and resolves it. JA

I could not log in as the email was wrong, after trying many options they all wanted an account number, which I could not get! I rang the sales. The lady there (PaulineG) was extremely helpful, and made sure I could log in before she left me.
It Might be nice to have an option for account holders who can't log in?

I was on a mission to get answer to a certain question. I had only signed in for about 1 hour and knew nothing about how to navigate the site. Johnym directed me with skill and speed. He did not rush me. He was at all times courteous and knowledgeable and friendly.He was able to relate very well to me. Courtesy is a dying characteristic in business. Johnny had lots of it.

I inadvertently missed a step when filling out My Heritage forms. Fortunately, I was generously assisted by Josh, a service representative. He led me step by step on my IPad and I was able to complete the form. Josh was informed, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Because of Josh I would recommend My Heritage to anyone interested in their ancestry.

They just take your money and you never see them again. Support is on permanent vacation and once you pay, you still can't do anything worthwhile unless you "upgrade". Don't waste your money on this scam.

After a 90 day wait due to a chip update', or holiday backlog more likely, we had our results. I bought this kit for all the family for Christmas. I had my results first, I was over the moon to find I was from such interesting places. But as my families emailed results started to come back the penny dropped. Strange, my results show over 3000 cousins in US and all over the world, yet doesn't match me to any of my immediate family, mum, dad, kids & the kids to their dad (my husband) all of us are aparently' from different places all over the world. None match. If we weren't such a close family, I would say My Heritage could break up happy homes! Don't waste your money, it's a scam!

Having opted to join the DNA programme through the Myheritage.com site, I was aware of a delay period of approximately six weeks. At the end of this period and not having received any update I telephoned your assistant Kiren in Ireland, to enquire about the lack of communication. Having waited an hour to get on, Kiren then informed me of the need to activate the process on line. I told her I had not been made aware of this requirement she very kindly guided me through the process and now I await the results on line. I will add Kiren was as efficient and helpful as possible, but delay and lack of information from the company over the six weeks has been disappointing.

For the serious-minded Genealogist, MyHeritage makes researching, reviewing, and creating a Family Tree the most simple and accurate. With access to the largest database, there is no reason to have to search for other places to find your ancestors. The feature I like the best is the direct line of your family is the main tree, but you can point to any member to expand their branch of their family to see their tree. If you should have any difficulties, their Customer Service people are the best and empowered to make decisions and give you answers.

I have been using the MyHeritage site for some time and have always found it very user friendly particularly as I am a "non-techie" person. However, one issue arose in that occasionaly I could not access the particular configuration I was looking. I called the help desk and within moments my difficulties were resolved. I was billed twice for their service. I immediately complained.
They repeatedly claimed that they could not see where I was double billed in spite of my sending copies of CC statements.
When they finally admitted that "another company" with the SAME NAME had billed me--they said it was too late to get a refund--although I had been complaining since well before their refund shutoff date.
This is the most dispicable company that I have ever encountered.
Stay away--their Genealogy information has been incorrect and misleading.
Use Ancestry- I find they offer a much better software interface and more reliable information

I have been using MyHeritage for several years and have found it to be a valuable asset as I continue my family history quest. MyHeritage provides "Smart Matches" which allows me to review matches of people that I have added to my family tree with people in other family trees that have been created on MyHeritage.com. Its a great way to connect with others who are researching the same individuals that I am. I also use MyHeritage Family Tree Builder which syncs the information with my MyHeritage online site and visa versa. The site allows for uploading family photos and offers "Record Matches"a long with a vast amount of global historical records that can be researched. MyHeritage offers mobile access so I can work on my tablet or smartphone whenever I want. Their customer support is timely and effective.
