Encontré una parte de mi familia que no sabía que existía. Pero me fui dando cuenta que mis abuelos y tíos lo sabían.

Tools easy to understand and use. E.g. Family Tree many options, dna common matches, Auto Clusters, Theory is okay, but when you see a problem...not the same tree as another user but they are using my family line, it is hard to get a response from them to make the connection. When there is an error in my Family Tree line it does not allow you to delete the person that does not belong. So on and on the problem goes not corrected. Not good. You should always be allowed to correct mistakes in you Family Tree.

It isn't the best site for multiple trees, if you built a central tree and then would like to build sub trees, it is near impossible to fetch the information from the main tree to build up your sub tree and so it means you have to redo the work. I hate doing this but with Ancestry this is possible and in many ways their tree building software is much more comfortable. The support at Ancestry is however great and the databases they have as well.
The main gripe is that they refuse to have a suggestion box or a feature request that would at least show their paying customers that they are willing to change something.
A real shame

I have found the whole experience of finding my family more difficult than actually finding my own, maybe as I come from carribean background. I am still waiting on my dna testing to come.through but had been advised about the time it takes.ypu can look on the website as to where they are with the testing

I found out a family truth. My Grandmother who died always said she had African heritage and we didn't believe her till we found out I had 5% Nigeria.

I presently have 2 unanswered emails with regards to why I am not able to extract information from a saved MyHeritage record.
I have an outstanding issue with regard to obtaining a refund. So not very happy right now.

The Record Matches, Smart Matches and Instant Discoveries help you to do research and find family you never knew. It was amazing to see how I could Enhance, Colorize and even Animate old black and white family photo's

It is an exceptional platform for those interested in genealogy and origens.

Mit eher dürftigen Unterlagen sind wir mit unserem Stammbaum angefangen. Nach nunmehr fast 3 Jahren kommen immer mehr Daten zusammen und aus unserem schmalen Stamm ist eine riesige "Buche" geworden. Wir sind wirklich stolz auf das Ergebnis. Vielen Dank an MyHeritage!

Describe what your intentions are and the representatives handle all the details, they anticipate connectivity issues and call back when they say they will.

It is a well designed platform for family research and building family trees with a lot of functionality and plenty of resources. Multilingual setup makes it accessible to users from almost any corner of the world and any age/education level.

I have got further in tracing my ancestry with My Heritage than I ever got with any other site I have tried. I am especially happy to have finally found out information about my paternal grandmother: I had previously known nothing about her except her name.

For a long time since I had Ancestry DNA done, I did not have too much contact with them. From the moment I received my DNA results I have received "connections" from you constantly and find it easy to add additional info to any entry in the tree. I have more than one tree on my account, McGuire (Materanal side) Rutherford (Paternal) and Daley (my wife's, from Jamaica). When I review some of the names, and it shows maybe 9 people connected to that name with a description like "brother's wife" I do not know which brother it might refer to. I saw somewhere that it has been updated to show a family tree line to remedy that, is that an update that I have to ask for?. I would like to know if there are any updates to the program that I can get or does it come automatically. Thank you for now,

I had difficulty maneuvering the screen to delete and to control the tidiness of the screen- the tree adds far too many copies and makes for a surprising mess of perhaps five copies of one person for example. She did help me and patiently guided thru a process to control those copies but I still think it should not happen. Also she explained inclusion of married individual spouse ancestries which really messes up everything - I think my heritage could set it up so that did not happen or at least provide a choice.

A great "toolbox" with DNA analyzing and matching against family trees as the most interesting of the newest tools. Easy to use. And easy to spread wrong information, if you copy without checking with trustable sources.

I'm still new using your site and data.

I don't want to include all non DNA ones such as a cousin's spouse's mother or spouses cousins that are not directly related. I went down that road in another ancestral app and it became too "polluted and complicated" for me personally.

I am testing the fifth family member. MyHeritage sends DNA packages very promptly and with exceptional care. The packages are weatherproof and easy to resend to their testing laboratory.
I love this service and will keep testing with them. It makes knowing more of my past so much easier.

I was delighted to take advantage of a free DNA upload weekend with a number of kits I administer and that led to taking a full year subscription which allowed me to delve into matches that weren't on other sites. I was particularly surprised by the number of Irish close matches that were there which helped solve some family line issues. The chromosome browser was really useful although it would help if I could separate maternal and paternal lines there as many matches were on both sides. More colours would also be useful for chromosome matches. I'm not a huge fan of the tree design. I subscribe to another site which I find more intuitive. I can't afford to subscribe an annual fee and wish that I could have the option to subscribe for one month at a time where I could focus on research at an affordable rate and take a break when I'm not using the site. However, my overall experience with MyHeritage was really worth it and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending uploading your DNA there.

My heritage makes you travel. In time and space. You discover amazing facts about your ancestors, so...about yourself. It is a pity to be unaware of so many things that brought you where you are, and the person you are..

Nice tool to help you progress and keep your findings safe since your tree is private and people cannot mess up your good work. I feel there are less South American records but still helps.

I received and sent back my DNA kit June 22,2024 and as yet, never received the results.
I contacted My Heritage many time and finally was told a new test was sent to me August the 12th. So far I've not received it. I'm most discouraged. The My Heritage website does not include a phone number to contact so I could not even speak to someone in person.
As a senior in my 80s, I had wanted to find out more about my heritage. I was planning on giving gifts of tests to my children but will now use a different DNA source.

I like the web pages and the ability to access new information and the web managers. But I find I'm confused about the DNA matches ancestry, who they are and how these are related to me. Also does the DNA matches mean they are biologically related?

Tengo dificultad extrema para comunicarme con alguien responsable de la página para que me ayude con la imposibilidad de obtener la información que necesito. Eso me sucede desde que me suscribí. Sigo pagando con la ilusión de poder encontrar familiares y nexos con otros árboles genealógicos.
Agradezco que me den una oportunidad para expresarme y hacer saber los inconvenientes que tengo.
