All about my data has been carefully handle with a deep respect and that makes me safe to give any information about my self and my family. I'm greatfull for MyHeritage becouse it's more importing than many feel or know to find every one that belong to my family.

A mix of feelings as I find things out. There is plenty to find and the means to do it. Some things I have found were not as the family told me. That sort of thing leads to more research to find out the facts. This is where the surprises and disappointments can be. But all still very interesting. I find My heritage a great sit and now with Family Search in Utah added it is unrivalled.

MyHeritage is the easiest program to use on the internet. I have tried others and, while they are good, they aren't as easy to use. Having the Family Tree Builder to use and synchronize my online tree is also very useful.

There is the good one: new matches you find
There is a less beautiful one: people take information from your tree. There after the software sends you smart matches with the same information. If you do not want to autorise all those matches you receive an enourmous backlog

I am so grateful for your detailed database and program assistance. It is helping me more than I can say connect all the branches of my family together. Just a wonderful resource, thank you!

Have still not found the info on one of my Aunt's who passed away fairly young
Have actually been in contact with a couple of extended relatives so that has been nice as
a couple of scandals too which at this point don"t really matter.
Also has stimulated me to search other sources.
Have found one newspaper archives that references 2487 stories that include my mom" s maiden name and they are family from a few generations back.I never knew any of those people

A brilliant site. It helps that there are almost daily prompts that once checked out tend to prove so very helpful, or easily dismissed. Would highly recommend each and everyone of you to invest in this site to grow you family tree, awesome.

I am always getting updates, and plenty of them. Most are people I have heard of over the years but some I am not able to verify as those who might know, unfortunately, have long since passed. IE. Names, dates, relationships and in some instances, locations. But it is very overwhelming to think of all the people that are connected to me. But I quest in a way it all makes sense. I.E. My paternal grandfather was one of 14 siblings. And the names never change that much which of course males it more confusing. But! Such fun!

MyHeritage, weekly, gives me many, many, new ancestors to add to my rapidly growing tree, Most of which I would not find on my own. Very happy with this site...

As the owner of a family tree of 20,943 individuals going back to 400A.D. And still growing, I am fascinated to realize just how interrelated mankind truely is and that wars really do mean that we are actually killIng our own distant relatives.

I signed on as a free site only. I carefully abd purposely did not sign up for any paid subscription but somehow I ended up being charged fir an annual subscription of $164 with no notice or emails until the charge had been taken from my account. Once I saw it I immediately tried to cancel and refund the amount charged but there is no phone number or person to contact directly. I sent an email requesting immediate cancellation and received one back saying I
Would be sent to billing for help but no way for me to contact billing. Since yesterday when I realized the mistake I have only received an email welcoming me to my annual subscription but nothing mentioning or addressing my concerns. This feels fraudulent and I am definitely not recommending this business. I give them no stars and am now pursuing the refund through my bank. Do not use this service!

With the help of Myheritage I have been able to find relatives that I didn't know to have. Because of its large DNA database, specifically European I have encounter a more clear path to my ancestors. They have powerful search engines that will help you research and discover new avenue's. In general very satisfied with my experience.

In two separate independent cases I have been able to uncover the true identity of unknown (great) grandfathers of distant current relatives of mine. In both cases this involved a child born out-of-wedlock (ca. 1900), after which the biological father disappeared and remained unknown to the current grandchildren. These searches were possible through MyHeritage's atDNA testing and analyzing the cM matches of current other testers, as well as evaluating the family trees of these testers (accessible through MyHeritage) looking for possible common ancestors. This was not an easy task and took some time to successfully result - in both cases - to uncover the name of the unknown biological (great) grandfather.

Initial population of the sIte was relatively easy as was the ongoing updates and additions. The only issue I have encountered was to confirm entire Discoveries which led to creating duplicates. I've since learned to accept only specific data. If there was a warning about Confirming, I have not seen it

I haven't received my results yet but I am confident that heritage.com will assist me to recover more of my Jewish ancestry! I've heard that you're the best! I need more details through my DNA and know you can help!

W\hat information I need to add to the data that I already have is readily available. It is easy to find and adds more information to what I already know. I enjoy reading more about my ancestors.

Most of the time you are excited about the discoveries presented. If you are researching main lines you don't generally go to far afield and avoid some of the research. Main line of lineage are the priority. In my case, I have hit the wall at my Irish 5th great grandfather on the Stanton line. So, obtaining a final piece to the main line of ancestors is the priority at this juncture.

The capacity to build a family tree is exceptional and quick. The research is fabulous and allows me to find out what my ancestors got up to by viewing newspaper articles and other information from government records.

Firstly it is really difficult to find an email address to report an issue to. The chat is hopeless. Once I had managed to send an email, the response was in good time and resolved my issue.

Great grandmother's name incorrectly remembered by generations because of her death at a young age leaving four very young children. Flannagan was actually Finigan. Finally found her by researching and sending for copy of great grandparents marriage certificate which correctly named both people and their parents. What a thrill as had been a brick-wall for years.

I have learned an extraordinary amount about my historical family members.
I have been enabled to share vast new family information with Children and Grandchildren.
Amazingly I have, with the support from My Heritage, thus far traced ancestors to the 1500's!

From the onset, using the software was very easy and intuitive. Building a family tree is fast and since I had started with other software I was able to import that work. I enjoy the background research bein done on my behalf leading me to potential matches as well as records which have helped me tremendously. It is also great that I can use it on the web, on my computer on my tablet as well as on my phone (I use android and windows). All seamless!

Having to get a verification code every time you log on. It would be helpful if the number was valued for 24hours say from 0001 to 2329.
In the Discovery column can the numbers go from the least as well as the most as I prefer to go that way as it makes it look as if you have done more.
