What an incompetent courier
September 21, 2021

This is the last time I use Hermes. My parcel has been with my local depot for 10 days, no reasons for delay. Can't talk to a human. Made numerous contact with the robot & made phone calls, again with the robot, but they are absolutely useless & can't resolve anything. You can't complain, again only via robot. You are so unprofessional, what customer care do you provide? NONE. The parcel was delivered today. The seller has also now stopped using them due to this & other items dispatched same day having a long delay. Get your act together & provide a professional service, which you claim to do & employ humans to deal with customer enquiries & complaints.

They do seem to be the cheapest to use but I've had about a quarter of the parcels I've ever sent stolen so I no longer use them. To claim on their insurance (which you have to buy) then you have to show what you purchased the item for, so if selling ebay items like me you can't get back the value of your item.

They are not concerned about thefts and seem to think that a 25 % loss rate is okay

Been waiting for the returns pick up to be sorted the whole day. Upon checking the tracking page, it was mentioned that an attempt to pick up the parcel had been made without any response.
I did not hear any door bell ring or a knock on the door.

Avoid using their service if you can.

Driver refused to accept a refusal of a delivery and insisted the parcel was accepted. Trying to contact Hermes afterwards to complain was impossible. Their automated phone and online service would not let me proceed further once it identified the parcel had been delivered. Impossible to speak to or email anyone. Terrible customer service. Don't use them - if you have a problem, you won't be able to contact anyone.

Worst delivery service ever.
Insist they have delivered (sending me a pic with a house which is clearly not mine) and yet they insist it would be mine... impossible to get through on their customer service or getting a proper answer.
On top of that pic that was sent looks like the parcel was left in front of a house (in the middle of London) which goes without saying is clearly stolen within 5 minutes

Avoid if you can

Worst company ever. Had a parcel arriving in depot and refused by curier and returned back to seller without any notice. Had another parcel that didn't arrive at all.
No excuse for this.
Don't use them if you want to avoid disappointment!

For the first time ever I booked a parcel for collection by myhermes. Ignoring all the bad feedback I had read - more fool me. The parcel ************** was not collected and still remains here. Not itself an immediate problem it made sense to contact hermes and see how we could overcome the problem. Telephoning via the website gets two option and you are directed to chat and cut off. Trying to use chat you get into a loop - number 492 with a 50 minute wait. This slowly gets better until you are next at which time the chat cuts off. This makes it impossible to get resolution. Nothing to reccomend about this company.

I've been emailed by parcel 2 go who said hermes states my parcel weighed over 2.3kg which is absolute bs I have sold so many of the same product and there is no way it ways that. The weight is under 1KG. They're asking me to provide proof yet when I've asked them to provide proof of this they've not bothered. Hermes ripping people off and companies like parcel 2 go gladly assist with that. Ridiculous. They need to be investigated

I lost my £550 worth of Gift Voucher send to my Team as a reward on 14 Feb. Hermes till not getting back to to. I have spoken to lost of people but not able to reach customer service as no contact details on the web or Search engine.

I will not use this utter rubbish company nor recommend anyone

Absolutely useless

The best I can hope for with my local hermes is that stuff arrives very, very late, often after I've already had a refund from the seller. Latest "delivery" was "out for delivery" for 4 days then suddenly became "undeliverable". Other couriers have no problem delivering on time. Why is hermes incapable of doing it? I'm shocked that hermes is an approved courier for amazon. I'm looking for alternatives as I'm sick of relying on a totally unreliable courier.

I can only assume that the mailman just decided to go home at some point so took a picture of my parcel in front of his own house and marked it as delivered! There's no way I can get through their customer service, their online Bot is a painful nerve damaging experience and i have spend hours walking around the neighbourhood trying to guess the door in the picture but I never did!
UPDATE: Hermes responded to me 2 days later to say they can see that the parcel was safely delivered to my address to which I replied by saying that it was completely untrue. I also managed to contact a supervisor from Hermes, contacted the shop that used them as carrier and honestly was leaving bad reviews for them on all platforms. The next day a mailman miraculously brought my parcel. He just said it was delivered to wrong address and left. Which of my actions above made them find and deliver my parcel I don't know.

Don't use them!

I sent a parcel through a courier agency but with Hermes. Firstly, that parcel only made it about 100 miles in 3 days from my location to their Rugby facility. This is ridiculous in itself because at that speed that parcel would have got to Germany by Christmas. Secondly, there was an entry scan at that facility but the parcel never left. For a week I tried to find out what was going on until we suddenly had a Hermes delivery driver at our door bringing the parcel back to us. On the parcel it said HS code which indicated the invoice was wrong. But the courier agency was told someone in Rugby thought the German address was wrong. Baffling to me how someone in the UK can judge that. Upon chasing for a clearer explanation they changed their version to "Post Brexit incompatible" but never provided an explanation as to what that means.
I sent the same parcel with with same address by DPD and without a single problem that parcel arrived at the recipient's home 3 days later.

Ive used Hermes for over 100 postings (Sell on eBay).
Through Parcel2Go with minimal issues but as of late, they're becoming horrendous.

They have lost multiple packages & because i bought through Shutl (Another useless company), Hermes are quick to pass the buck.
On top of that, their customer service is disgusting.

Another business quick to take your money but hide behind T&C's and excuses when they fail

I strongly advise you find another courier.

Do niot use Hermes for transport of your items. They will try any means not to refund you. If an item has FRAGILE plastered all over it would you not pay some heed to that or can their operatives not read or basically just not care!

I just has lost 70 quid just because the courier she has left my parcel to some of my neighbour and I didn't have a clue to which one she did the pictures says delivered and job done but sorry I can see clearly is not my door definite

Disgusting

I was waiting for this parcel so I use to keep an eye on my window. When the parcel is not delivered correctly (the courier did not bother to knock on the door, throw it next to the recycle bin) and the parcel is opened, what else can you say about Hermes? Shame to you Hermes!

Extremely unreliable
December 22, 2020

This is the most unreliable courier I have ever seen. Collection slot given between 8 am and 8pm yesterday. Today I am still waiting and the driver didn't come. I tried calling and emailing the office but no answer. Despite getting bad review from my customer for the delay, they still took my money and didn't provide the service and is beyond expectation on the bad side. I will be contacting my bank to get my money back. Avoiding this company going forward as they are totally unprofessional and the service is messed up. I start to worry about my item getting damaged considering the low profecieny.

Hi
This tracking number (H0067A*******297) shows my parcel has been sitting at your depot since 5th June.
There is no option to arrange a delivery or ask why its is sitting there for that long? (please dont tell me otherwise) All i get is a robot that is obviously not set to resolve problems relating to this nature. When i call you "NO HUMANS" same thing, when i email you i am directed again by a robotic automated email to the first robot to be told the same thing again. That tracking number i have given, will give you my name and post code. Can you resolve this or is it going to be another robot?

You don't have to call me or anything "Just please send the parcel out for delivery, instead of it sitting there" You have all the information.

P.s. Ill be heading over to all you social media with the same message, until I get a response or my parcel

Terrible service

I bought a pair of shorts from eBay and all I got was parcels delayed due to major event the shorts didn't come for 13 days late terrible service ******* bad reviews I don't understand why people use them
