Like many users of this site I was deceived too. This company took my money off my card. We call it steal money. They don't answer emails. They don't try to help people to solve their problems. Shame on you.
I have lots of scrins to show your that they took my money. Every month 24$. I want my money back. You have to refund more than 200$

I had a bad experience with myperfectcv.co.uk as they kept charging me 89 AED every month after I ended my subscription with them.
Upon contacting their support team, their answer was that my account is not active and they are not charging me while I was charged every month.
Be careful and don't add your card details.

I am very upset, the first time I used it, I paid about 10 for 7 days, then my debit card number was registered in my account without my permission and the amount became about 90 per month, still without my permission or information. I discover it today when I checked my bank account, I saw that they took this amount from my account twice. This is unacceptable and kind of a criminal thief. I cancel the subscription today and i hope i will never hear from you again, I will never use it again. I am very very upset. 😤😤😤

Or son used this site trying to get a little job to help with school he signed up to a free trial and the it was supposed to be a student fee of £3 or so but no they charged over £16 a month clearing his account until he had no money left, we didn't realise until his bank statement came. My prefect cv offered to refund £5! Absolutely disgusting behaviour absolutely no care at all.
Do no use especially for students as once they get your card serials they will keep clearing it with no exception.
A company with no morals.

Attempted to cancel numerous times via the website, and it kept returning failures. Took very important money out of my account afterwards, and only AFTER that did they let me cancel. This review will remain at 1 star unless a refund is provided.

Contacted them multiple times to cancel the subscription - you automatically get subscribed when buying the downloadable version of the CV. They claim there isn't a paid account allocated to my email address, but they charged me almost 18 pounds 3 days after. No response from them after providing them with the proof of them stealing from me! No one answers the phone either. I have escalated it to my bank, Trading Standards and I will not stop here. Also there are other many people in this situation - same story, same outcome - so we all want to go to the media and expose them and what they are doing to people. Avoid! Do not fall into their trap like I did.

Tip for consumers:
Do not use it! There is no such thing as paying to download your CV and that's it. You end up with a subscription it's really hard to get rid of.

I have attempted to contact them in many ways, through phone calls and emails. Yet, no one is responding. They renewed my subscription out of nowhere, and I then calmly tried contacting them for a refund as I desperately need that money back. Unfortunately, I am left with no response whatsoever.

My experience with this website started really well, I made a few cvs and paid for them. I then have been charged £16.95 per month, even after cancelling my subscription and opting to not auto renewal. I have emailed multiple times all of which have replied to tell me that they will cancel my subscription (even though I didn't subscribe in the first place!) and they haven't cancelled it and are still taking money- months and months after!
Please be very careful.

I found the CV tools easy to use but it wasn't obvious you would be charged until I went to save it!
That was quite stressful after doing all the work! However I was pleased with the CV. I didn't realise after the initial £1.95 for 3 weeks it would then be a subscription for £16.95 monthly.
I called customer service and the advisor I spoke to was nice and understanding. He fortunately gave me other options so I decided to keep with them after the compromise.
Definitely worth contacting Customer Service before deciding whether to cancel.

Extremely disappointed. No indication of payment until the end, then i felt i had little choice. No option to cancel subscription. Terrible quality cv and letter with awful formatting options. Should have done it myself. How do i cancel please?

I needed my old CV dolled up, the format looked ancient. So I googled it, found MyPerfectCV and got to work. Site works well, good templates, no bugs or errors. Then when it came to downloading my CV they asked for debit card details and gave a 14 day free trial. (I knew it was coming) So I did that and then (of course) forgot to cancel before the auto-subscription kicked in. I logged on to their Live Chat and pleaded for mercy (I was only a day late and there was no pending transaction showing on my bank statement). The assistant asked me for feedback, I responded favourably, then he offered me a massive reduction. £3 a month down from £16.95... And so I reasoned, that since I really should be more proactive in my quest for new work (and don't the weeks fly by so fast) I decided I might as well stick around for a month or two. Their swanky CV and cover templates could make all the difference! ;)

I thought that the site its self was well crafted an the methods were easy and simple, however be aware that it cost £2.95 to have a membership for 14 days as they do not state that at the begging. Also Cancel the member ship afterwards, as they charge £16.95 each month, this happened to me but I rang them up and they were really nice about the situation and refunded the payment straight away and sent me confirmation email. Overall good experience, just b aware of the memberships and payments that youre making.

Our free account gives you the opportunity to try out our resume and cover letter builder before deciding to purchase. The ability to print, email, or download your resumes and cover letters are features included in our paid subscription and not listed as a feature of the free account. You can download a plain text version of your resume for free. In order to use all premium features of the service, we offer customers a 14 day access for $1.95 USD and we indicate up front that it will auto renew after the 14 day period and that it can be canceled at any time. The auto renewal is listed with the features of the 14-day subscription on the sales page, as well as on the payment and confirmation pages. We also send a payment confirmation e-mail stating the date and amount of the auto-renewal. We do offer several ways to cancel including via phone, live chat, e-mail and self-cancellation in your Account Settings. I called the customer service team when I was charged 16.95 subscription fee, when I had not used their service at all. John was so understanding and helpful, he kindly went ahead and issued the refund when I explained my financial situation.
Very happy and will definitely return.

Trying to update my c. V and it kept deleting my data, first it deleted details from my currant job information in my work history, then from accomplishments, next affiliations, certifications, and finally the dates from my work history. It wouldn't let me fill in a job title on one of the in built statements. It also decided to keep some of the writing blue and larger than the rest and wouldn't let me change that either. The customer service on the other hand was excellent, went through the online talk help, most of issues sorted will try again and re input the information lost to see if it works now.

Be very careful with this shady website. I opted it for a trial and for 1 year I've been charged 16.95 GBP each month without knowing. They don't send you an invoice or receipt to let you know that they have taken money from your account. I paid 200 GBP and used their service once. That's a bit expensive for a cv builder. No emails, nothing! They just take 16.95 each month and pretend like nothing happens.
