They just charge on your debit card without even sending you an email or even worrying about letting you know what's happening. Such a bad faith and it's very expensive too. I regret coming across of this website

All I needed was an updated CV and this website had my details from last year. So I paid £2.95 to convert it to Word document to send to Remploy. Just what I needed to start the ball rolling back to employment. Will be back again in the future. Would recommend to family and friends.

It doesnt state obviously and in flashing lights you have to pay once cv is completed. But after you have completed it, for £2.95 the level of customer service to alter/modify and edit to get your CV is very good, it is money well spent. They spend time fixing page breaks and spacing etc. try contacting them. Very helpful experience i had this evening.

I found this site very useful and easy to use. Helpful in challenging my assumptions about my longstanding CV format and radically change that. I had very positive feedback on my new CV and it secured me an interview - after three rounds I have a new job!

Tip for consumers:
I recommend contacting customer support chat if any user issue appears, they're pretty fast at it and they work with you to cover customer needs pretty efficiently.

Before I signed up for the paid service I read some reviews. Most were negative but I liked how my CV turned out and couldn't find a way to get it off the site without paying. Then I saw something interesting on the site and that's when I realized.

Most people don't even bother to read the not-so-fine print. Most people here are whining about charges but I read them right off the first email I got. It tells you to cancel before the trial ends if I don't wanna get charged again.

You know what I did? I cancelled it and all was good. I get the site is meant for people that don't know a whole lot about Word and things like that (like me) but these idiots don't even READ. It's a miracle they have any money in the first place.

Had trouble changing font and colour in two sections of my CV and Marcos had it sorted within five mins... very happy overall with ease of site and the availability and knowledge of live help team... thank u

I have been charged 16.95GBP per month since March 2017 while I only subscribed for the 14-day trial. While it is stated that after 14 days the subscription auto renews, it's hard to notice because you subscribe for the 14-day service, not the monthly access, which is right next to it as if it is a different option. I called their customer service right after I cancelled my subscription to ask for a refund and, even though the guy could clearly hear my frustration, he suggested that I renew my subscription. At least, their customer service employees have a great sense of humour.

We would like to provide you some information which may clear up any concerns about your account: Our free account gives you the opportunity to try out our CV and cover letter builder before deciding to purchase. The ability to print, email, or download your CV and cover letters are features included in our paid subscription and not listed as a feature of the free account. You can download a plain text version of your CV for free. In order to use all premium features of the service, we offer customers a 14 day access and we indicate up front that it will auto renew after the 14 day period and that it can be canceled at any time. The auto renewal is listed with the features of the 14-day subscription on the sales page, as well as on the payment and confirmation pages. We also send a payment confirmation e-mail stating the date and amount of the auto-renewal. We do offer several ways to cancel including via phone, live chat, e-mail and self-cancellation in your Account Settings.

The actual site was easy to use they are really helpful with information on review of my CV. When I had to cancel my customer service guy Marcos So stressed Figueroa don't know if that's his real name or not you never know with the online help thing s but he was great really helpful made the process quick and easy.

Fantastic help with CV lay out, styles and content. I put together a an amazing CV in no time. Very good with working on cVs from scratch. Also very easy to upload older, existing CVs and improving/editing them. I could not recommend "My Perfect CV" More!

The CV templates are great, they are easy to use and give suggestions of how to improve your writing and grammar, it even helped me to get a job! I wanted to temporarily hold my subscription and they offered me an affordable price that meant I no longer had to hold it.

The site itself is very easy to use, poor selection of formats unfortunately, probably because it's American not what we brits are used to seeing. However, due to my husband being taken ill after his interview, I was not able to get back to ' PerfectCV ' in time to cancel subscription prior to free trial expiry. No matter. He got the job and after 'chatting' with Ener she setup the cancellation for me. Hopefully there won't be anymore ' takes ' from my account - watch this space...

I subscribed on 29/5/23 $ 2.95 for 14 days using Mr. O. domicillary account & immediately sent me the cv but to my greatest suprise on 30/5/23 you debited him $3.00 and on 14/6/23 $24.42 at 4.38 am, why this after 1 day of payment and again. As Im sending this message am at the Police station since 9 am arrested & state security services were involved, the person insisted that i most pay for the 2 subsequent deduction bcos i paid 4 d first one. I hv bn sending mails 3 days in respect of 30/5/23 but another deduction again, not been release up till now god will pay all of u back in double folds. Promise to tell d whole world not to fall your victim. *******348,*******676 419 number.

I have given this company a week to sort out their "admin" error and after 2 promises of a refund from phone representatives and an admission of fault (in a phone call I recorded) there is still no money in my account.

I am now fulfilling my promise to them to expose their scam. Today I will be contacting the office of the financial ombudsman to log an official complaint. If you have had a bad experience with this predatory company, please let me know by emailing me (hopefully my email will appear here)@ *******@gmail.com so we can work together to build a case of malfeasance against these scumbags.

I started off aggressively on the phone as I thought I was incorrectly charged, however after calming down I was told why and how it was charged, they had in fact charged correctly... They were very understanding though and actually refunded me, and lowered my monthly figure, very helpful!

I cancelled my subscription thrice 2 months ago, still they extort 23.80 money today.
It has been a quiet a few time that despite my cancelling of suscription my money is getting deducted from my account on monthly basis.
I only used the service once. Why dont you just cancel my subscription
I was one of the most loyal customers of myperfectcv.co.uk and i can give you names of students and freshers to whom i recommended your services and they have
Been using your service till now.

I m highly dissapointed and expect full refund that is unduely deducted from my account otherwise i will block my credit card and post every possible negative reviews through multiple accounts on any site that has your description.
I m tired of your theft. Kindly look into it

The site is really good. I'd definetly recommend it to others in need to boost or create a CV. If you are unaware of how to construct a CV they also help with formatting and a variety of skills depending on what role you had worked in.

I subscribed to my perfect c.v. on behalf of my daughter who needed to create a c.v. for a college project & it was perfect for the task. My daughter was more than happy with her experience & will no doubt use this service when she eventually enters the job market for real.

Helped me to create a CV which I have always struggled to do. Was easy to use and gave informative hints and tips along the way.

Was really easy to cancel my subscription. I was worried initially that there would be a clause to it but there wasnt and it was cancelled without any struggle and was really quick and simple to cancel.

The most expensive CV in the history of CV's. Most people will use this site once to get their CV and then you can edit and change it as much as you like with a PDF editing program. If you forget to cancel your membership before 14 days, you will be charged £220 per year, for what something you can easily do yourself. Save yourself money, go to your local CAB or job center and they will help you create your CV for free.

I signed up to help a friend write a CV, after realising i was now in a subscription i called and cancelled. I was informed this had been done. Anyway fast forward 8 months and guess what, they are still taking £16.99 from my account per month and WONT refund it. I am FUMMING!

I write this review with so much joy in my heart. I have always been unsure about how to come up with a beautiful Resume till my friend asked me to look up MY Perfect CV.

L was called for a job interview as a Customer Service Assistant in an Electricity Distribution Company. One of the panel members started by commending my clarity in stating my objectives, education and job functions. He appreciated my ability to clearly communicate what I hope to offer the company. This is as a result of the proper CV organisation MY Perfect CV helped me achieved.

After two weeks, I was called to take up the job!

You fill the form to make your free CV, which is after all not free...
So ok, you spent some time building it, you pay the one off...
Except it is not a one-off, it is a subscription.
So, when you look for a job, you are so rich that you will be paying £16/month just to have your CV kept on their system? What a joke! And what a SCAM...
