“Beware after 14 day trial, it gets expensive for a "free" resume template”

I searched for resume templates and this site advertised as free. Once information is entered, it requires a credit card for a $2.25 charge. What wasn't obvious (later found on the proof of purchase email in the small print) was the "automatic" $23.95 per month charge that comes from the previously entered card. Unfortunately for me (fortunately for this company) I saw this on my card statement three months later.

I had used the two week trial, made a "perfect resume" applied for a few jobs and was getting calls back almost immediately. The service is so simple and easy to use with a robust set of pre-loaded skills and examples for almost any job. I had forgot to cancel my membership with MPR and was charged their 34.95 fee, not needing the service anymore i called MPR in a panic and customer service was more than happy to hear i got a job using their service. I asked for my money to be refunded seeing as i don't need the service anymore, Joseph with canadian customer service was so quick to help me, refund my money and make sure i was happy with everything. I will recommend you guy to friends and family, I love my perfect resume! Thank you guys for all your help!

Worked with Customer Service Rep Yaritza M. Explained to her a household member signed up to use this service in August of 2016 (for $1.95). This member inadvertently signed up for a monthly service (using my debit card), and subsequently received monthly email charge notifications of $24.95, but neglected to inform me. This resulted in 6 monthly charges that I had not authorized. Yaritza indicated 3 charges would be refunded in 2 to 3 business days. Yaritza indicated she would cancel the account immediately. She was very professional and helpful. I would have given a 5-star rating if more charges were refunded.

Really just needed a one time template and wasn't interested in monthly subscription although the rep was very nice And help cancel the subscription. He also helped me to get my refund back for first month as I am not interested for future subscription.

Easy to follow, straightforward way to create a modern resume. I got hired quickly, should have cancelled sooner, but overall, cancellation was simple. I was complimented on the great layout of my resume, and I think it was money well spent.

I have tried to email them multiple times for the past two months, never got a response back. Tried calling and my calls wouldn't go through. I just wanted to cancel my subscription; was being charged $24 a month. Waste of time and money.

Your site is a scam. You say you're free but then I have to pay you to download my resume. That sucks. You are a shady business and you should feel bad about exploiting innocent people just trying to get a job.

When it came time to opt out of the account, the rep was very courteous and assured me that as long as I discontinued my account within the two week trial period that I would not be charged $24.95 come the following week when it was due. I forgot the rep's name, but she handled it like a pro. The only problem that I did have was adjusting my resume using the tool button. But, that was okay because my husband fixed it to where it looked presentable.

Wow. I'm so highly impressed by this company. I've been in sales management for 10 years but yet never really had to fill out a resume. This gave me all the guidlines that I needed . Not only in helping me write it property but also in a great looking format. And to be able to change the colors and the design of the resume to fit a new business I am looking to get hired into. I don't write reviews on anything. But this is a great tool. Highly recommended!!!!

I am still in my "trial period" with this service. Already, I am a fan! Their customer service is INCREDIBLE! There is a lot to know about the site. I didn't know exactly how to make the most of it. These people are there for you!

I was surprised to see my $30.67 for payment even though it says to be less $1. Why is that so expensive and why is that you charge by yourself without warning? I want my $30.67 back and I also want my membership cancelled.

The overall layouts and help tools are the best but the let down is the charge at the end, abit of a surprise to me when you wanted to charge $2.95 which im fine with but notice before spending my time would be good, and the subscription fee is abit pointless and sounds like a money grab why would i need to keep subbing every 4 weeks? Other then that its well worth the $2.95 if you cancel the subscription.

Not only was the site very easy to maneuver but it it had a list of almost any job title you could imagine, with tons of job skills to choose from! Just a few clicks and you had a beautiful resume fit for any job or skill set! I definitely recommend this site to anyone! And the customer service is superb! I did not know that it is a two wk trial subscription so we did not cancel. I called customer service and explained what happened. The person was very nice and without a problem he credited our $27.95 monthly membership.

I called to cancel my account because I'm having difficulty downloading my resume I created. I spoke to "IN", the customer service representative and help me figure out the issue, he even helped me make my resume fit in one page, then offered to give me a discount and the benefits I will be getting if I decided to continue with my account. He is very accommodating and courteous to customer. I will give him a perfect score for his rating. I'm very satisfied. Thank you!

Lillian the customer service agent that I spoke with was very nice and extremely helpful. This product is great! I would recommend this service to anyone who needs to freshen up their resume. The product allows you to track how good your resume is, and allows you to adjust it so that your resume will get noticed.

They also have a number of different job hunt resources... You can always call customer service and expect a friendly agent to help you find the package that best fits your need and if you happen to speak with Lillian you will be in good hands.

$2.99 for a template. (Which BTW doesn't actually work.). Read the fine print. Next thing you know, they charge your card $25 per month to do nothing. A yearly subscription is about $50, but when you but a $3 single template, you end up paying $25 per month for nothing. Site is a scam. Be very wary.

I spoke with Eric via phone and to query a charge and cancel my membership. Eric was sarcastic and unhelpful.
Given that I rang to cancel this service and I was unable too complete this, I have had to have my card blocked and changed to avoid future charges.
The email communications say that you can manage cancellation by logging in to your account, this is a false claim. You are only able to cancel via emailing or calling their help desk.

I used MyPerfectResume 14 day trial period. I was not aware of having to cancel a membership after the 14 days. I was charged for a year membership. I call customer service they were very considerate and cancelled my membership right away and refunded my money. I am so thankful I will consider using their service in the future.

I love the choice of layouts I can pick for my resume to make me stand out in our competitive work force. I like that the resume helps me with keywords and phrases that help make my resume look and sound more streamlined and professional.

Rocio was great! She made the necessary changes and made recommendations as well to improve it. She was very courteous and never gave up or showed any signs of frustration. The main problem was the big spaces between each job entry. There should be an easy way to fix this. Thanks for your help and the great customer service.
