I searched for resume templates and this site advertised as free. Once information is entered, it requires a credit card for a $2.25 charge. What wasn't obvious (later found on the proof of purchase email in the small print) was the "automatic" $23.95 per month charge that comes from the previously entered card. Unfortunately for me (fortunately for this company) I saw this on my card statement three months later.
This is the worst thing ever! Do not use it! It says it will charge you 1$ but it's not. It charges me every month for 30$ and I write them emails to cancel a subscription ( the one I did not even subscribe to because it said it was one time purchase) and they are ignoring my emails! This is a FRAUD!
I've used a few resume services online but this one is by far the best. They provide you with all the tools you need to make a strong resume. Customer service was incredibly helpful. No complaints so far. Try the trial and you will be amazed at how easy it is to make your resume with this service.

There is a lot of valuable information, but when I found you, you said the service was free. Did not realize I had to pay until I was half way through creating the resume. Again, a great site for resume building.

I did a search on Google for a "FREE resume builder" with quotes around it and found your site. No where on your site did say there was a cost. I spent 2 hour putting the resume together, finished, and saw in order to get the resume I had to pay. This is false advertisement and I will be cancelling.
To clarify, we offer two types of accounts, the first one being a basic access account that gives you the chance to try out our builder before deciding to purchase our premium features, this account allows you to download a plain text version completely free. We also provide a full access account for a small fee that grants you 14-days to print, email, or download your documents using our copyrighted templates, but these features are NOT listed within the free account.
In addition, we do offer a 100% money-back guarantee for our 14-day trial if you are not satisfied with our services.
The service was advertised as free then got to the end after spending hours doing the resume to find out that to download it, I had to pay for it.
This is false advertising, be upfront about the costs and services.

I was impressed by the fact that once you plug in a job title potential duties pop up for you to choose and populate your resume. Awesome for when you struggle to actually describe a past job and your function. Took me a little while to figure out when the job title wasn't necessarily in their data base. You can use something close, populate the responsibilities and then change your title back to whatever it needs to be, I love it!

Scam advertise as free then you have to pay 2.95. Site was no help for my job and I called in less than 6 hrs and was told I would get a refund. Site keeps charging my card had to cancel credit card to stop them. Still no refund.

The worst company I have ever worked with. I only signed up for the 14 day trial at $2.95 and they billed me $35.80 later on saying that unless I canceled my subscription right away I would be continuously billed until I practically found out through my bank that they were taking my money. The customer service rep would do nothing about it. THE WORST business practices I have ever experienced in my life.

I have not needed a resume in along time and found this site online and love it! It ended up helping me make a better resume than I ever thought possible. It is great for people who are older and haven't made one of these in a long time.

I like the product. Good format. It made it easy for me to write. Could improve by better suggestions for PhDs. Also, I knew I was supposed to pay and I would be happy to but didn't like a "TurboTax" move at the very end. Be direct with customers.

The template has been quite user friendly with great suggestions. My only slight negative is that under the skills column, I had them in a particular order. When it came to the preview, they had been rearranged with no apparent way to change them. When I click to edit, it took me back to my original order, but won't stay that way.

I volunteered to construct a resume for my daughter's boyfriend who is currently looking for work. I dreaded the task; however, I found this site and followed directions, and together, we were able to complete his resume in approximately an hour. The results were professional and well designed. I did feel that the design of the site should not specify that it is free. The cost is minimal and of no consequence, so I find it somewhat deviousl to not be up front about the fees and continuing fees if one does not cancel within the allotted time frame..

I really love this even though it is not free. It was easy to use and had a lot of templates to choose from. Did I mention... I got the job! The interviewer actually complimented me on how professional my resume looks. Only cost me $1.95 for a professional resume. I will use again, if I need it. Although the system was stalling the course of the service Joel did not give up or tell me to call another time but took care of the issue. I had a problem login into my account using my email. Therefore I was not able to cancel my subscription. My account was billed $24.95. After this I made a phone call to the first rep. He said he would send me and email receipt granting me a refund and to correct the issue of me logging into account. Luckily I got the cancellation number from him before I hung up. I called back 3 days later because I still did not see my refund, and still could not get into my account. The second rep. Solved my login issues by making sure I could login before we got off the phone and also made sure my email was correct to send me the confirmation we discussed. The first rep. Had the wrong email, even though it was on my resume and also did not care about me other than trying to keep me subscribed. So as of right now, I will be watching my account for the refund, especially after reading some of the reviews.
