I searched for resume templates and this site advertised as free. Once information is entered, it requires a credit card for a $2.25 charge. What wasn't obvious (later found on the proof of purchase email in the small print) was the "automatic" $23.95 per month charge that comes from the previously entered card. Unfortunately for me (fortunately for this company) I saw this on my card statement three months later.
Money, money, and more money. That's what this company is about, read the fine print before you download/email or save your resume. Actually before you even go to their website, just try a free template online. I've gotten a job from writing my own resume before using theirs, and it came at a cheaper price. Create your own or download a template from online, it'll be a lot cheaper than this website and have more value in the future.
Started the "free resume" got to the end then asked for cc details stating only $4.95 for a month or what ever it was, pressed the button an BAM thanks for supscbing for a year we have debited your acc $70+
Then went to cancel an wasnt given the option unless i clicked on a choice of 3
1-month to month 2-free month then auto charged at $34 3- another form of payment...
Im totally disgusted. Single mum and could not afford to be mislead.
Not to mention when i down loaded my resume it looked like a typewriter had written it.

Lastly, when you finish your enrollment process, an e-mail is sent explaining this as well. Auto e-mails can get picked up by the filter as spam or junk mail, redirecting this to the junk/spam folder. Please be sure to check these folders just in case. I consider this site to be fraudulent as they do not advise you of their charges. They advertise free templates and at the completion of your resume, they charge a small fee. However, to download your resume, you are forced to become a subscriber. This is free for 14 days and then you are charged an ongoing monthly fee, however, this again is not advised as you progress through the subscription sign up. I found this out once checking my credit card statements after being charged $34.95. They then refunded a portion of the fee only as I didn't cancel within 14 days. Any charges should be clearly displayed and not hidden and why you need a subscription with a monthly charge for a single resume template is baffling. This is dishonest and a scam to trick you into a monthly fee that will not be refunded.

I dont like that you automatically apply recurring billing - in my mind that's dishonest and should be made clearer. I find typing text into the resume can be clunky at times. Unable to add bulletpoints (or maybe I just haven't figured how to do that successfully in-app). Instead I copy and paste from a word doc with bulletpoints to get around that currently. Annoying as when I paste it back in there are unexplained spaces which I then have to fix up. We like bulletpoints! That's about it so far.

Terrible, absolutely not worth the $3 trial fee. I made up my resume using their premade job description tools, ran the analysis and was told - even using their own wording - that my resume only scored an 80% because my listings sounded too much like a job description. There were no suggestions on how to change wording, nothing to show where exactly your problems lie. Also, you see your entire resume on one page when making it, it's not until you pay and save it that you can see where page breaks are located. I had to completely re-edit my resume in order for it to flow and be usable. Horrible, horrible site. Completely worthless.

I paid £1.95 for what they claim to be a free CV company and then proceeded to take another £23.80 membership fee! Nearly 30 quid for a poxy cv you couldn't make it up!

Have been charged for 6 months without know - never downloaded anything from this site which was confirmed by the representative I spoke to!
I never received any email or invoices - the company just decided to start charging me after a year with no heads up.
Called to get a refund and I spoke to a helpful representative who advised in 24-48hours someone would contact me about the charges... 4 days later I'm still waiting.

Website was easy to use and created great resume lay out. My only complaint is I believed it was a small one time fee, did not become aware of a subscription fee until the next month when my account was charged. The customer service I received when I called to cancel was excellent and tried to retain the sale, but accepted my reasons for not needing it to continue at the same time. Very friendly.

Same as everyone else, got scammed for a years subscription when all I wanted was a month. They sent me an email asking for my credit card details again, when they had already debited my account! They also stated they didn't have my email address (in the email that they sent me!). Tried the live chat, but they just summarily dismissed me mid call. Now have to cancel my credit cards etc, small scam, but big pain in the...
Well, I must eat humble pie here. When they terminated the live chat I thought "OK I have been conned here" particularly given a fair number of preceding negative reviews, however they did as they promised, refunded what they said they would in a timely fashion. Still don't think the programme is exactly what I was expecting, however they were true to their word, so if I'm gonna bag them in one review, it is only appropriate I counter balance this with some positives.

I would never recomend this company they are very unprofessional and will not listen to requests for termination. In all honestly you have a better bet at making your own you built its not worth the hassle that's been dragged on. Maybe one day they will realize they are an unprofessional company who violated the advertisement I could terminate through a simple email... That's far from true I'm still trying to end mine and signed no contract to continue to use also they won't team erase me like they promised they are a joke

Nice layout, very quick and easy to do, liked how many things were auto loaded from previous resume. Would have liked to edit Header size to fit name without hyphenating. Would have appreciated up front pricing instead of advertising free, then being forced to join a subscription service for access.

I would give 0 rating for this website. They loot money from you. Please be aware of their automatic renewal, they wont notify you and will charge money from you. When you call them, they wont refund or respond properly. I am strongly recommending not to use this website

They will steal your money. I bought the trial to see how it was... And now I have 5 charges on my card from them!. I contacted them. They denied they charged my card. I spoke with my bank and then contacted this company again asking for refunds. And they refused! Scammers! Cons! This is a warning to all. Do not buy a damn thing from this company. Pretty streamlined experience, though you could do to update the section where one describes oneself since it is a bit harsh for new users who aren't looking for a job in the field they currently work in. Might just be me being an idiot though so feel free to ignore.

I was able to get a 3 month refund back from these slimy jackasses. Too bad they'd been charging me for almost a year! These guys are horrible for taking advantage of young people who don't have experience in making resumes. They should be ashamed of themselves. They claim to have a 14 day membership for $2.00 but they don't tell you that once it's over they'll charge you for a full subscription! I used it once and who knows how much money I paid for the stupid resume builder. It isn't even that good! It's a basic resume builder you could get from a Microsoft Word template. What a waste.

All I needed was a rèsumè. A simple, stinking rèsumè. This website looked so legit! I spent at least a half hour entering all of my information into a formatted rèsumè template, and could have sworn that I was one click away from a simple, clear, and eye-pleasing product. But alas, my hope was in vain, and the classic "It's only $2.95 to download and print!" popped up onto my computer screen. If you're willing to spend money on a decent-looking and half-self-created rèsumè, feel free to use this site; but if you're sick of putting time and effort into something that never outright states that you have to pay for it before you begin, best take the safest bet and spend an extra 10 minutes formatting the rèsumè you created yourself on Microsoft Office Word.

My Perfect Resume
I did an online resume and was charged 2.99 if I wanted to download it. I did and never received any receipt, but did get my resume. I have now discovered that they have been charging me 34.99 a month since then. They are intentionally unclear in the one time purchase with the intent of stealing monthly charges from people and seeing how long before it's noticed. The good reviews here have to be dummied in by employees.
Tip for consumers:
You will be charged an outrageous amount even if you never use it again.
