I searched for resume templates and this site advertised as free. Once information is entered, it requires a credit card for a $2.25 charge. What wasn't obvious (later found on the proof of purchase email in the small print) was the "automatic" $23.95 per month charge that comes from the previously entered card. Unfortunately for me (fortunately for this company) I saw this on my card statement three months later.
Myperfectresume helped tremendously with writing my resume as well as sending jobs to me that fit my skills and work history. I just wish I would have discovered their services years ago. They made everything so easy. I would definitely recommend their services.

It doesn't allow for much customization and is actually difficult to use at times for what should be simple edits. And now I'm apparently being charged a second time for editing the resume I made last month when I thought this was a one time purchase. I will not be using this service in the future and will not be recommending it to anyone else.

Just like some other reviews, I have to agree this website is a scam. Upon completing my resume with them I paid a fee of $2.95. I am not one who wants a "membership" with online services such as this one, and when I read the fine print, stating a monthly fee of $30 something dollars would be automatically withdrawn from my account, I immediately wanted nothing to do with it so I canceled. Unfortunately, money was taken out yesterday (nearly 3 months after I initially started the process. I had to go back in and cancel it. When I called customer service this morning, they said I only canceled it yesterday and there was nothing they could do. I clearly had not been active with my account, but he said there was nothing they could do. Avoid this website if you can.

Just noticed that they have then taken £25 pound from my account?... why?, if this is a free trial I never agreed to anything after the trail.

I could not get my cards to go through. It turns out it was a problem because it was an international transaction. This needs to be stated on the account somewhere so that steps can be made ahead of the transaction. I can try other cards, but I will have the same results. It is frustrating to have the wrong cue from your business. I had to call to get the information needed and then call my bank. Then everything went through smoothly.

Had a charge for subscription, however being on a limited income I need to cancel my subscription. The doen side it will take 7 to 10 days from my refund. Not able to buy my turkey meal. The service customer was very gracious.

I chose this site because it was listed as offering free resume assistance. Of course, once I got everything entered, I was informed that you have to join the site to print your resume. The price for a few days access was reasonable so I went ahead and enrolled, but I really struggled to get the template to format correctly. In the end, I got frustrated and just typed my resume with a similar format using Microsoft Word.
There are some good tips on this site but, for me, it simply wasn't worth it.

I was charged a monthly subscription cost secretly with no communication. I found out just by my bank alerting me of an out of country usage on my card. It was never made clear to me that I had subcribed for a monthly service. When I tried to unsubscribe it was a hassle and multiple pages and the bottom was hidden among other things. I called customer service but was on hold for a long time with no response. I felt as if the company's mind set is to not be clear so as to catch and trap customers into charging thier cards for as long as possible.

As I said above the call center provides great service when you have a problem. He was polite and helpful and made a special accommodation for our situation. We didn't use the service and they gave us alomost all our money back after four moths of not realizing they were charging us.
