“Beware after 14 day trial, it gets expensive for a "free" resume template”

I searched for resume templates and this site advertised as free. Once information is entered, it requires a credit card for a $2.25 charge. What wasn't obvious (later found on the proof of purchase email in the small print) was the "automatic" $23.95 per month charge that comes from the previously entered card. Unfortunately for me (fortunately for this company) I saw this on my card statement three months later.

I have used MyPerfectResume everytime I needed to get my resume up to par. Easy to use software and interface. Lots of great tools to help you get your resume out there and also make it perfect. On top of all this the customer service department is very courteous and easy to work with. I had a great experience with Lilliam who helped me settle a payment dispute. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for fast, easy, and affordable resume building.

The resume and letter templates were excellent. More importantly, the customer service representative assisted me in adjusting my bill when I forgot to unsubscribe due to the being overwhelmed by the work at my new job!

The end product is outstanding and I am impressed. It was very easy to use and help me with parts of my resume I did not feel were strong. Be careful with subscription renewal though as it can add up as it is a weekly rate. I would've subscribed longer if it weren't so expensive.

I gave a 2 because the customer service guy Ali was exremely helpful! And this site was great but after the 14 days were up they over drafted my account. They need to send emails saying they are taking from your account before they take it out.. Because now I have to pay over drafting fees. I am currently out of a job hence why I needed a resume! I would never use this site again. Just gave me tons of more issues i didn't need.

I signed up for the 14 day trial. Created my resumes and cover letters which was very easy since they did all the work for me. Both my cover letter and resume look great. I forgot to cancel my automatic subscription by one day, I called customer service and they didn't give me any problems refunded my money.

I used this site to make a resume and it was more than what I would have asked for! After the initial fourteen-day period for the resume access, I was charged twenty dollars. One call to the company and the gentleman on the other line cancelled my subscription and gave me a full refund! Thank you so much!

I have just registered to use this site and I am increasingly impressed every time I investigate the items offered. I did have an issue with spacing in my resume but was able to have the problems corrected perfectly when I reached out to customer service. Angel was very knowledgeable and courteous. He was able to make the corrections for me and also instructed me how to solve the issue. Great experience!

Orlando helped me clear up any questions I had about the service. I was charged many months after not knowing at all...

Their "Terms & Conditions" say that they have the right to change prices on you at any time. This is how I was charged over and over and over without realizing it.

Anyways, I originally was going to blow up on customer service but he explained everything so professionally that I couldn't help but give him proper acknowledgement.

Just read everything before signing up is all I ask of you.

The site and everything provided to help me write the perfect resume was incredible. I experienced difficulties with formatting my resume and I was unable to delete information. I called the toll free customer service number and I spoke to Jose. He was very pleasant to talk to and he assisted me and I was totally satisfied with his assistance. I love this website it is fast and easy to use. Most technology comes with some hiccups, but it's great when a customer can receive excellent customer service from experienced representatives that are willing to help. Also, I agreed to a subscription and I intend to utilize this service. Kudos to all the employees at My Perfect Resume.

Website is fantastic and easy to use - definitely worth the $3.95. What I DO NOT like is that it was marketed as free and then once I had put all that time and effort into creating my resume, surprise! It's not free. If I knew the fee ahead of time, I still would have used it. Dishonesty is not okay.

Waits until you are completely done making your resume before telling you you need to pay to download it unless you download in plain text which is utterly useless. Once you pay to download it, the format looks horrendous and is unable to be edited either online or on word. Customer service wastes your time trying to sell you on a clearly nonsense subscription. If I could give this company negative stars, i would. Dont waste your time or money.

Used the site months ago to rebuild my resume. Loved the product. But after the first month free price was $25 a month. Was considering cancelling my subscription but was able to get a reduced rate. So happy I can still continue using a wonderful product and it not break my bank.
As far as customer service goes, it couldn't be better. Best experience I've had with any customer service department in a long time.

I had the same experience as others on this site. I paid for what I thought was a resume template (approx. $3) only to then have over $100 taken out of my credit card for "subscription fees". I have no idea what this "subscription" was for, as I had no contact from the site nor did I access the website!

BEWARE!

My advise, go to Microsoft and download a free resume template!

This company is horrible I signed up and used it for one day and cancelled it soon after. Then looked at my bank account to see that two chargers were made for 24.95 last month and this month even though I thought I cancelled my account. Do not ever use this company because all you'll get out of it is less money in your bank account!

This company is a CON. No where did I agree for them to take out £23.80 from my account! Scamming bastards! This company is a load of $#*!, they advertise themselves as FREE when you have to pay for the cv template at the end and then once they've got your details they take more money out and say you agreed to it! My teenage son setup his resume without reading the fine print about recurring charges after the intro 14 days so I called expecting that I would have to fight to get the charges stopped and refunded. Not the case, the gal I spoke with couldn't have been more understanding and helpful. Based on this experience and all the other positive comments about getting help in writing the resume, I would definitely consider using the service again down the road.

Lol they sell you a resume template for $2 after you pay they send you an email that goes to your trash (you really never see it) letting you know that you have committed to a monthly subscription for $30. When tried to get a refund they push you so hard to commit to a $1 monthly subscription and avoid completely to acknowledge if they can or not give you a refund. As soon as you tell them you will contact your CC they tell you that its ok to do a refund and hang up on you really quick.

I was not aware that a payment would be due at the end of building the resume. I never saw anything stating that when I began. If I had known, I probably would not have used this site. That is the reason I did not give 5 stars. The only reason I'm continuing and paying for the trial is because I already spent a lot of time building this resume and it turned out great.
