I searched for resume templates and this site advertised as free. Once information is entered, it requires a credit card for a $2.25 charge. What wasn't obvious (later found on the proof of purchase email in the small print) was the "automatic" $23.95 per month charge that comes from the previously entered card. Unfortunately for me (fortunately for this company) I saw this on my card statement three months later.
Andres badge number 735. Was very empathetic to me on my job search journey. Forgetting that I signed up for the program. I asked for a refund and to cancel. After talking to Andres. Seriously. $25/month for something I need once every 2-3 years. It's bull$#*! that you don't disclose that BEFORE I'm forced to spend all that time building a resume. I would pay $10 or $15 for a two week pass, but I don't need a subscription.

11 months ago I helped my brother with his resume. His English is poor so I decided I will make it and pay for it with my card since it was only $3. About 3 weeks ago I realised that they had been charging me membership for the last 11 months. I am absolutely disgusted that I ended up paying over $500 for a resume. The company won't refund the full amount so I decided to take my case Queensland Fair Trading and subsequently to small case court.

I have a lengthy career and several jobs with close to the same job description. Would like to be able to consolidate. Also for the position I am applying for, I have actual experience in, but it was 20 years ago. Would like to highlight it somehow. I was advised not to leave blanks in employment, but several jobs were not for a public school or various locations doing similar things. I changed jobs several times, but often out of ambition or higher pay. One location I was at for several years and even came back to. I quit one time because I had babies, but came back to work 4 years later. The center closed down and I went to work somewhere else but it was not a good fit. I found I did not like 3 star corporate daycares and my daughter was not getting potty trained. I feel like there must be some way to pare down my lengthy resume. I have worked fairly steady for more than 5 years, but I quit recently to homeschool my children with disabilities.

I love everything about the process. It's very easy to use. My only issues was I found this website by seraching google for free resume templates. I didn't find out that you have to pay until after I finished my resume. I only got the 14-day access. If everything goes great, I will be coming back to get the monthly subscription.

Very good overall. The site worked well and my resume was wonderful. I had a slight issue with continued billing beyond my subscription, but the Customer Service Representative was polite, well spoken and extremely helpful. He helped me cancel my subscription and refunded the over billing with no fuss. All in all it was a very positive experience.

Annoying that in the google search the claim it is is free yet had to pay 2.95 to get the resume I was able to complete. Further to the review I posted below, Myperfectcv has since contacted me and reimbursed me of the £23.80 charged to my account. Whilst I wish this whole episode had not taken place they were quick respond to my complaint, for which I am grateful.
My son needed a cv in a hurry. He logged on and registered onto this 'free' site. He had problems with the formatting, extra lines he could not get rid of and the clock was ticking away. When it requested a fee of £1.95 we paid, believing it was now pay on demand and effectively he was held hostage and becoming desperate for the document. On download we realised the formatting errors were present in the document and had to keep jumping in and tweaking and downloading to align the data in the columns. We made do. I have since gone in and made adjustments, jumping in and out of the template and downloading to see the end result. I have been charged £23.80! Not acceptable at all!

I made my resume on the trial version. I ended up not getting the job that I needed it for, so I went to cancel. The lady was so nice and informed me that they have job search resources other than just making a resume. I decided to stay AND she gave me a huge discount!

I never signed up for a subscription. I hate and avoid automatic payments at all costs. In Nov they billed my account for, 45 cents 4 times... Phishing to see if they could get money. Then from Jan 2022 till we caught it they have been billing $23.95 every month this year. Now Oct 2022. I am having my bank look into charging them back and fraud charges. I will also contact the FTC and show them the many people in the same boat being scammed. Can you say class action Law Suit?

I did like the way the resume looks when completed and the suggestions. I did not like how you get charged for the template. Didn't remember to cacel within a week and had a close to $40.00 charge out of my account. Today, every penny counts and felt totally taken advantage of in this brutal economy. Perhaps you could truly be "free" and suggest a donation after one finds a job. And, no, I haven't got a job yet and your free fee has set me back!

Scam! They claim that when you sign up for the 14 day trial@ 2.95 you are given the option to cancel. However, the only option you have at that point is the 2.95 option or the full service of 38.95. So after my 14 days were up they billed me again. Great way of doing business!
