I searched for resume templates and this site advertised as free. Once information is entered, it requires a credit card for a $2.25 charge. What wasn't obvious (later found on the proof of purchase email in the small print) was the "automatic" $23.95 per month charge that comes from the previously entered card. Unfortunately for me (fortunately for this company) I saw this on my card statement three months later.
Excellent site, particularly for formatting - I like the way we can apply formatting on the fly, with the same content. I am using another site for fixing the content - it helps with power words etc. Together, these help me make the resume lot better than it used to be.
I was provided with great customer service and the employee that helped me was willing to speak to a supervisor to solve my problem and in return I am willing to continue to use your services. All of my concerns were addressed.

There should have been more information up front that it would cost to get my resume, wasted time creating thinking it was free only to be forced to pay. Should also only need to pay a one time fee, not a subscription.

I thought the experience was exceptional, except the fact that only after you have taken time to complete a whole resume your asked to sigh up for a monthly service instead of being aware of this in the beginning. I would be more happy just paying a one time fee for a complete resume for $3 without having to sign up for a monthly service. People actually don't like being (cleverly guided to thing they did not intent to opt in to). I like you service but I don't want to pay monthly bills for a one time needed service.

Cancellation stops the auto-renewal. Once it’s canceled, we send a cancellation confirmation email for your records. There are times that auto emails can get picked up as spam or junk mail. Please be sure that you cancel the subscription correctly, we offer several ways to do it as we explain earlier.

Called tech support (Angel) to see if they could help me find my resume from 3yrs ago so I didn't have to start over, even though my account had been de-activated. Angel was so helpful, recovered it and re-activated my account all in about 10mins and gave me a discounted monthly membership!

They don't mention that if you take their free trial they auto enroll you for the monthly subscription, real shady. If you download the resume from the website they are extremely poor formatted virtually making them impossible to edit outside of the website.

Why wasn't my review printed? You weren't successful in ripping me off, that's why! I didn't read your reviews until after I had done my resume and authorized the payment of $2.95. Once I saw what crooks you are, I cancelled my credit card. You people have more nerve than a bum tooth! It is unbelievable to me that you actually print these negative reviews (except mine) and you are STILL IN BUSINESS! How is this even possible? I see some people think your resumes are crappy, but I disagree. I saw nothing wrong with your format but it is disappointing to find out that you mislead people who are looking to better themselves. This website is a shame. I was only requesting a one time use only for 1 euro29 in February and I was charged 29euros today, 3 months after for a subscription I have never asked. When I tried to chat with one of their customer representative, Hector, he was very rude told me to contact my bank and then closed the chat without notice. I would really appreciate having a real answer and my money back. People: do NOT use this website, use your time and create the resume yourself.

Extremely bad customer service! I called because I had cancelled my subscription a day before it ended. And they still had charged me. So when i was on the phone with the person. He said that I had just cancelled it like 5 min ago which was a lie. And I told him I have the email saying what day and time it was cancelled. He had the balls to say I was a liar. I honestly kept arguing about it. So I spoke with the supervisor but it was the same thing with that guy too. So I asked if I can send it to him so he can believe me. And he said yeah. So right before I got to send it he said it was fine. Like seriously dude. Never again will I ever use Myperfectresume again. I normal recommend it to the school I work for but after this happen. I will not!
