I searched for resume templates and this site advertised as free. Once information is entered, it requires a credit card for a $2.25 charge. What wasn't obvious (later found on the proof of purchase email in the small print) was the "automatic" $23.95 per month charge that comes from the previously entered card. Unfortunately for me (fortunately for this company) I saw this on my card statement three months later.
They have cheated me of $270 for 6 months, they have not send any invoices emails at all with the fees that they charges, I am totally unaware till I see it on my bank statements. I am lodging a police report on this company. I did not sign up for their services and have not once log in to their system after the initial one which I have cancelled, they retain your card details and continue charging you, so if you are not scrutinising your statements, you wont see the charges at all. Please do not be like me, do better.

Zero stars. It is a scam and they will try to make unauthorized charges to your card. It asked for $2.95 for 14 day access to the resume templates then even offered to take a dollar off. NO mention of any further charges. Out of nowhere the other day they attempted 3 times to charge $23.95 or some amount like that. Thank goodness I have a card with a credit union and they blocked those charges. But now I have to wait for a new debit card thanks to this stupid site. Don't use it!

It's only after going through the entire resume creation process AND creating a username+password that it asks to charge you when you attempt to download a Word copy of the resume you just spent time creating. Find a basic template on a better site unless you really want to pay for an unhelpful interface.

My 14 year old daughter needed to print the resume that she made for "free" through this service, so I offered to foot the $1.95 it appeared to cost to print. Unbeknownst to me, my payment information was kept and I was subscribed to a service for $34.95 every month that we have never used. When I called and got through to a service rep, there was no apology or semblance of understanding that they had stolen $160 from me before I caught on. Yes I should have checked my credit card statements more thoroughly, but any legitimate business who charges for a service would refund if said service was not needed, used, or communicated to the "user". I am VERY disappointed in this underhanded business scheme. NOT recommended.

An email confirmation/reminder/notification that a recurring monthly $34.95 would be deducted from my credit card would have been professional, fair and useful.

It is $25 a month and is very hard to cancel the subscription. I canceled online and they still charged me for two more months after that. Also, their number never answers the phone to help you. Yes, it creates a resume for you, but it takes all your money! Don't use this.

I signed up for the free trial to maximize my resume in late October 2023. It worked great! However after I believed to have unsubscribed from the membership, I was unknowingly charged $34.95 CAD for 3 months afterwards! I realized 3 days after the most recent payment was taken out of my bank account and contacted support. They were only able to refund me about $17 as that was equal to how much time was left on my billing period (?) and I am not unfortunately out nearly $80 that could have gone towards something more necessary.

Easy to use, I recommend using their suggestions you can edit from there. I got the first job I applied for. Infact they removed their weakest link just to give me the job they started me out at a much higher wage than they normally do and started me out with 2 weeks vacation off the break.

We purchased the $2.95 charge to process of a single resume and only used MyPerfectResume.com the one day. We find that we've now been charged $23.99 for the last 3 months. They are another company that gets you into an automatically repeating charge that isn't clearly indicated on their website. They agreed to cancel the account but only after offering us a continued discount price of $12.99 a month and then $4.99 a month, but unlike the other reviewer they never offered to return the charges already on our credit card. Another reminder to check very closely the fine print before paying for anything on a website you haven't worked with before.

Not worth your time or money. They make it impossible to cancel your subscription so you end up just paying and paying for something you don't use. The "award winning customer service" has never answered my emails or phone calls. Likely because they know I'm trying to cancel or they just don't answer. This is definitely just a scam with resume templates as the bait. Avoid giving them your card info. My best advice is to call your card company and have them flag charges from them and not allow them to process. Seems to be the only way to avoid getting charged. Just stay away from this site

When I signed up for the site, I made it clear to cancel my subscription at the end of the month, not be billed every 4-weeks. I work two part-time jobs and am unable to check my bank statement on a regular basis.
I was finally able to go through it in full and discovered they have been charging me not to my knowledge for the last 5 months. I've received no notification of billing in my email, text, or though the site itself in the form of a receipt. They've just been taking the money from my account without notifying me in any form.
I tried to request a refund and they only offered me 50% of the last month, that's unacceptable as I haven't even used the site since signing up. I know this seems like a case of being absent minded. But I am certain I made it clear to end my subscription at the end of the first month, so I haven't been looking for it. It's extremely unprofessionally to keep charging you without notifying you, almost criminal.

I have never met an online company that was pleasant, kind, and understanding when it comes to refunds until I met myperfectresume. I'm currently in a financial rut and was unaware of the monthly subscription price at the time, so I sent the site an email asking if there was a possibility I could receive a refund and the help I received went above and beyond my expectations! I was able to quickly get on the phone with a representative and he told me that they would be glad to refund me the amount and they surely did! He also gave me more information concerning cover letters, resumes, and more. He even offered me a discounted monthly subscription price if I wanted to stay longer with their company in order to create a cover letter. When I tell you that was one of the best customer services I have ever experienced, I truly mean it. That guy did an awesome job and I was glad that I got a chance to speak to him.

I tried to cancel my service after the first month since I got the job; I got changed a few extra months so I called customer service to see what happened. The gentlemen I spoke to, Ivan, was friendly and very helpful. He took great care of me and got a refund submitted for me without any hassle or being pushy. 10/10 customer service.
The website itself was great too. It was really easy to navigate and to insert all my information.

Great tool that helped me get the interview and got hired as well. There are tools that you could continue to utilize beyond making your resume but that was the only piece that I used.
