I searched for resume templates and this site advertised as free. Once information is entered, it requires a credit card for a $2.25 charge. What wasn't obvious (later found on the proof of purchase email in the small print) was the "automatic" $23.95 per month charge that comes from the previously entered card. Unfortunately for me (fortunately for this company) I saw this on my card statement three months later.
I thought it was free, so I create a resume and when was done you have to pay $2 something. So for little money is not worth creating a new one on word. I agree the website is not upfront telling you is not free, but again was cheap. Then it says is a free 14 day trial and it cost $25/month after the trial, but you can cancel it if you don't want to get charge monthly. And that's what I did, I called customer service number and they helped me out and the person on the phone was very nice.
I didn't know when you subscribe it automatically charges you 23.95 a month I realized after 2 months that they charged me. I called for a refund they didn't want to give me back my money! I Used this site for my resume with a charge of 2.95 and all of a sudden my bill is $50! I Will DISPUTE it!

I was charged for $24.95, however this is heard and taken care for refund back to me as they also realize its too much too charge one. I loved the service that was provided by the call center. Having said this I also wanted to appreciate the website for its best quality and products.

The product was very very easy to use I was able to create a couple of different types of resumes. Anyone can create a resume that looks professional using this system. I did get quite a few charges on my account before I noticed it and had to call and have it cancelled. I guess that's my fault for not paying attention. I was anticipating the worst, but I was on the phone with a very nice service rep who politely cancelled my subscription and hopefully I won't see the charge on my account anymore. So far I'm very satisfied.

I know for a fact I chose the week option to just get a few printed off and sent out. I then check my account and find they pulled the monthly fee out. When I went to the site to unsubscribe and remove my credit card info, it gives you just an e-mail instead. Avoid this site.

I have just noticed on my account that these thief's have stolen four lots of £23.80 of my debit card without any authorisation keep well away from this company and police have been informed of this theft and said they have heard of this company whatever you do please do not give them any of your details.

You are given a contact number to call them and the call doesn't get through. I created a resume in January of this year 2017. In April I thought I could edit the resume and noticed that I was going to be charged so I did not go ahead with editing my resume. I was charged $35 anyway. I sent an email demanding a refund. Be careful not to open a resume created with MyPerfectresume as they have your bank details and charge you for just this. They have not contacted me and until today... no refund.

I am not happy with your deceitful practice. After spending hours creating my resume i find out i have to subscribe before i can download it. I might have used your service anyway but you never gave me the option to choose until after my work was complete! The guy who helped me with the cancellation on the phone was kind and helpful. Unfortunately, at the end he offered to send me an email that would tell me about a deal for $4.95 for a month of continued service. I told him to go ahead and send the email and I would review it. Instead of giving me an email to review, they went ahead and charged my account the $4.95 which was not what the customer service rep had said. Disappointed.

Called customer service twice and they refused to help. I cancelled my service in June over the phone. They cancelled it for one month in July and then started charging me again in August and September. I called to request a refund since I cancelled and they refused. Very difficult customer service and refuse to cancel/stop charging. Do not use.

I purchased my resume template for $3 and they signed me up for a membership that I never knew about. I saw charges on my bank account and logged on to find a recurring membership charge. I'm blown away at how scammy this company seems. The customer service agent was incredibly rude. See screenshots of the chat. It took me threatening them to get a refund and it's still doubtful that they will refund me the full amount. I would like to add that the customer service rep said it says three different times that I'm being signed up for a membership. That never happened. I approved a charge of $3 for my resume and another one of 0.45 for the word version. I never approved a membership.
I was pleasantly surprised when calling to cancel my subscription. Enrique was extremely helpful. If I want any assistance with my resume or cover letter I will be contacting MyPerfectResume again. They were wonderful to deal with.
