I searched for resume templates and this site advertised as free. Once information is entered, it requires a credit card for a $2.25 charge. What wasn't obvious (later found on the proof of purchase email in the small print) was the "automatic" $23.95 per month charge that comes from the previously entered card. Unfortunately for me (fortunately for this company) I saw this on my card statement three months later.
Everything goes very well but my concern is about the cancelation, i paid for my resume, why i got into a membership if i just need one resume and beside that i have to be pending to cancel within 14 days to avoid additional charge.
Could you modify that
I called in regards to my monthly payment to see if there would be any changes and was told by the young lady that helped me that my month to month payment would be locked in as long as continue with the service. She was very friendly and the program itself has been very helpful in my resume writing and job searches. Thank you so much!

This is the second time I have let myself become involved with this company. All to do with cancelling subscriptions! You get to the end of the resume ( which takes hours!) only to fi d that it's NOT FREE. You have to pay to access it! So when you cancel they just keep taking the payments out. Last time I lost $50 -- this time it's a SECOND DEBIT of $2.95 -- even although I emailed them to cancel it after the first payment. BEWARE of this company.

The auto renewal is listed with the features of the 14 day subscription on the sales page, as well as on the payment and confirmation pages. We also send a payment confirmation email stating the date and amount of the auto- renewal.
Cancellation stops the auto-renewal. Once it’s canceled, we send a cancellation confirmation email for your records. There are times that auto emails can get picked up as spam or junk mail. Be sure to check your spam/junk mail folder.
If you are receiving another charge after the cancellation and the amount it's $2.95. That's our initial period payment and for what you are telling us we are under the impression that another account was created and that will explain the charge discussed.

Wish you would say up front that a purchase is required to get the resume when it's done. What a waste of time if you don't want to sign up to have a recurring payment. It seems that a one time charge should be an option.

I cancelled my subscription and request customer service cancel my account. I provided the information via email to customer service, to have this cancellation done before the initial subscription ended, but my credit card was still charged.
I find this very depressing and disappointing, and you are not given a confirmation of cancelation.

Took me 4 calls to get my FULL refund back. They took out $35 without letting me know and then only refunded back half. By the last call I almost coudn't control my laughter. They all parroted the same thing. He was going on and on about how an offer was only on the table for that day I had rung up 3 times previously on different days (thats how long it took to get my refund) and they all said the same thing. Oh well whoever gave them that script to read is ridiculous and I quite honestly feel sorry for them having to read it out. This review was all written out while the guy was talking as well. And I had time to make a coffee its laughable really.

The first time I called to cancel l, it took 6 minutes before I gave up. The second time I called, it took 8 minutes for them to finally answer. Why can't I manually cancel instead of waiting 14 minutes for someone to finally answer?

I have been utilizing this service for sometime. Initially i used it as a quick and easy way to re write my resume. However I have had to continue using it anytime I need to update the slightest thing. For example my address. To summarize, I think the product is useful. But overpriced.

I used this site once to make a resume a year ago. After using this site they automatically signed me up for a membership and have been taking fees out of my account that I used to pay for my resume. I had no idea until I was going through my bank app. After I addressed this with the company they pretty much let me know to read the fine print. If you want to be stolen from, use this site. (Scam warning, fraudenlent charges, identity theft, fraud.)

They initially send you email confirmation of payment but never alert you by email for their consecutive withdrawals from your account. Done by stealth. Zero warning by email. Zero receipt by email. Zero payment confirmation by email for the many many charges they deduct without you knowing. I already lost 2 24.95 payments on my card for no reason. Dont get tricked by their hidden agenda and steal your money!, please read the fine print.

When you select our 14-day trial enrollment, it provides all details on screen that after the 14th day it will auto enroll into the monthly subscription service. It also explains, that you can cancel at any given time. This alert is also given when the credit card information is requested where it explains that, unless you cancel, you automatically authorize us to charge your account every four weeks at the current rate of the subscription. Lastly, when you finish your enrollment process, an e-mail is sent explaining this as well. We are very sorry that you have had this experience with our product.

I like the website and the resume builder. But why lie about it being free. I am happy to pay. Why make the pricing confusing? They have a good product but I cannot give them my cc info knowing they purposefully lied about it being free. Again, I am happy to pay but after the lie about it being free, then the confusing pricing I cannot trust them to cancel my subscription when I am ready. Why be so dishonest? I am so disappointment because it is such a great site. Why do business like this? I would guess the owner is a former used car salesman.

After calling in to customer service twice,
Two of their reps could not get the formatting correct.
There is an extra blank line under two of my work history entries--and no blank line
Under the others.
The resume does not look uniform.
If I'm paying for a resume builder, I should AT THE VERY LEAST expect it to format it and not spend hours of my own time trying to remove a mysterious blank line; and then be told by two representatives that they tried a few things and could not remove that extra blank line.
The last rep I spoke with told me he was sending the issue in. However, I've had 3 interviews now, and handed in this resume that looks "almost right," when the very position I'm seeking demands of me to be detail-oriented. They will expect me to hand them a resume that looks visually uniform and consistent.
The reason I looked into myperfectresume to begin with was because I didn't want to have headaches over formatting my resume.

I was pleased with the website use and service, until I cancelled and 2 days later I see a withdrawal from my account $24.99. They claim that they had already taken it out before I cancelled. I had a free trial before. I did not even use any of the month of the $24.99 they charged. Once I contacted them twice they refunded me the money which was great. Thank you. I recommend this site to those who need to build their resumes. Just make sure to cancel right after you do it if you just want the free trial.

I loved the format--professional, sharp, and effective. It was tricky moving sections (I wanted to move Skills higher on the page and couldn't). Don't try to edit your resume in Word. I thought it was free, so I create a resume and when was done you have to pay $2 something. So for little money is not worth creating a new one on word. I agree the website is not upfront telling you is not free, but again was cheap. Then it says is a free 14 day trial and it cost $25/month after the trial, but you can cancel it if you don't want to get charge monthly. And that's what I did, I called customer service number and they helped me out and the person on the phone was very nice.
