I searched for resume templates and this site advertised as free. Once information is entered, it requires a credit card for a $2.25 charge. What wasn't obvious (later found on the proof of purchase email in the small print) was the "automatic" $23.95 per month charge that comes from the previously entered card. Unfortunately for me (fortunately for this company) I saw this on my card statement three months later.
The subscription is very useful, however as circumstances changed, I no longer needed the service and called to cancel. Victor was very kind and understanding. He provided excellent customer service as he processed my request. Thank you!
I don't mind paying for a service, but it really feels like a bait and switch when it says it's a free service only to hold the item hostage for a fee once you have taken the time to complete it. I really thought it was a great platform to get the resume done, just don't say it's a free service if it isn't.
Called customer service twice and they refused to help. I cancelled my service in June over the phone. They cancelled it for one month in July and then started charging me again in August and September. I called to request a refund since I cancelled and they refused. Very difficult customer service and refuse to cancel/stop charging. Do not use.

A very sneaky and misleading way to get people to invest time in trying to build a resume only to hold it hostage if we want to download it. How about saving everyone time and frustration by being more forthcoming with the fact that you do charge for people to actually download the resumes you provide tempates for?

I used MPR for two months and it was great. Two days ago I was suddenly unable to email my resume from the site. I attempted to do so using multiple devices, sending it to multiple email address. It would say the email was sent but it never arrived anywhere. I spoke to two different customer service people about the issue. One told me there was a "Glitch" in the system and that I should give it time. The next day after still not being able to email the resume, the next person I talked to told me that the system was fine and there was nothing he could do. Conflicting info much? Since I am unable to reap the full benefits I closed my account and will find another service.

I apparently used this service once over a year ago and they have been charging me $25 a month for nothing ever since. I did not catch the extra charges on my account because the name on the charge kept changing and then the one it changed to was very similar to another charge on my bank statement. I finally caught it now because i canceled the other service and noticed the charges still going through. I looked more closely and noticed the different name. I called customer service because obviously this was a mistake right? Apparently to them posting a resume once is worth getting charged $25/month. I still do not even remember signing up for this service and yet all they offered me was to cancel my subscription, and after begging for a refund of at least the last month they oh so graciously offered me $12 back.
In short: their service was obviously not memorable and they are a dirty, greedy company.

My perfect resume was a great service to use when in search of a job. It was very helpful and it also alerted you when a job in your qualifications was available. I have refered many friends and family members to this service. They were also very helpful when it came time to cancel my subscription without any problems. At first I was upset about being charged $24 especially at my poorest moment in life. But the guy I spoke with on phone was very nice and helpful, and also had exceptional salesman skills. The use of the resume building was great. Customer service, not so great. The website states that you can email customer service for changes to your subscription. I sent an email on the 5th of October and as of the 15th still had no response. Also the fact that it's $25 per month, but when you click cancel, they offer you to stay for $3 a month. That's just tacky.

This is a fraudulent site, I was charged over $300 to my credit card in a matter of 3 months. They have no real customer service and I was simply ignored when I tried to contact their site.

I was approached with a job offer and was asked for a resume. Since mine was over 7 years old, I needed quick help. I was very pleased with the My Perfect Resume website. I imported my old resume and it helped me revise, update and buff it up. I really liked how the computerized review of the nearly finished resume helped to finalize it. I will admit that I too was disappointed that the "free" was only free to use, not print or download, but I understand they have to make money.
I intended to cancel right away, but my mom was hospitalized for over 2 weeks and I completely forgot until the charge went through. Jonathan was able to kindly help me to get the charge refunded. If I were in a job search, this would likely be a great help. But with no need to go further than a properly constructed single resume, this was more than I needed. 5 Stars for customer service. 4 stars for the site.

I got the 14 day trial and paid $2.00. However, after the 14 days i was charged $34.95 and immediately cancelled my membership. I later called to request a refund, a very nice customer service lady named Jackie was very helpful. She gave me a full refund and even gave me a discount on the membership to be only $4.95 a month and helped me set up the alerts for jobs within my field near me. She stayed on the line with me until her manager processed the refund and made sure I got the email with the refund before she hung up. It usually takes 24 hours to process the refund, but she stayed on the line with me until her manager processed it that same day. She even said "bless your heart, I wish you the best" before she hung up. Amazing experience and amazing customer service - I highly recommend you ask for Jackie when you call. I believe that this company need to change how they do business as do hundreds of others that have fallen victim to this horrendous trap.
I also have fallen into their trap of thinking I have a one time only fee only to revise that there are charges on my credit card.
You would think after all these complaints online that they would change their ways and try to be more open and honest about their site!
