I searched for resume templates and this site advertised as free. Once information is entered, it requires a credit card for a $2.25 charge. What wasn't obvious (later found on the proof of purchase email in the small print) was the "automatic" $23.95 per month charge that comes from the previously entered card. Unfortunately for me (fortunately for this company) I saw this on my card statement three months later.
"my Perfect resume" is a total scam. As soon as you click on the Create my Resume" button you "agree" to the terms and conditions. Even when you read through every term (of which there are many) nowhere does it state that you will have a reoccurring fee of $35.80 until you call to cancel your "subscription." They should be ashamed of themselvesthey are no less than thieves.
I showed my resume to a recruiter who made several suggestions like using months not numbers for dates. When I called for help making these changes I'm told this is not possible WTF? I thought this was customizable. Huge waste of time and money

I had an excellent customer service agent. She helped me cancel my subscription and get a smaller package that was affordable for me. She was polite, but not pushy and seemed to know what she was doing when she asked me to look in my email for confirmation of the transaction. It made things much easier than I thought it was going to be. I was sure I was going to get into an argument with their customer service and I didn't. I was delightfully surprised!

You should state the cost of this service upfront, and allow better editing ability in the sections that weren't aligning correctly. Give more suggestions in the formatting and correct amount of information needed by employers. Thankful for this service and it does save time and money than having to go to a vendor to format.

I searched for completely free resume templates, and this site is not free. Since I already did my resume on it, I went ahead and paid the subscription fee. I would not recommend if you are actually in need of free templates to update your resume.

In a moment of desperation I downloaded the $2.95 one-time use template. I was charged an additional $1.00 fee and a "foreign transaction fee" which appeared on my credit card statement.
The resume was extremely poor quality, and was uneditable upon download. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!

If your page says "free" then someone spends over an hour building, you probably shouldn't write "free" and then charge them. I'd have been happier to pay if you were upfront about your costs. Will not recommend.

It's great i you need to create or edit your resume however they charge you $24.95 after the period ends if you don't remember to cancel your subscription. I agreed to pay a small fee and forgot to cancel the subscription. What kills me is they don't notify you that they will charge your card again. They just take the money out of your account. I was under the impression that I paid for my downloaded resume for $2.95. Which did come out nicely, I will add. I downloaded a Microsoft Word version of it so I can make changes later as needed.
Yesterday I noticed a $23.95 charge from them on my bank account! I did an online chat and found out the $2.95 was for a 2 week trial period. Apparently, seeing some reviews, I'm not the only one who did not catch this. The rep assured me she'd help me with the cancelation and refund. Then after a few attempts to get me to take a better deal, to which I declined because I am not in good shape financially, she canceled my account and then said they can only refund me 50%! Of course they have reviews disabled on Facebook, how convenient. But I will post this on every site like this one.
