I booked a flight through this agent and paid additional charge for choosing the seat.(about $90)
However, when I checked in, airline said those seats are not reserved and other customers are already taken.
I was embarrassed so i called to Mytrip.com.
They said it's none of their business, they made a reservation in the right way. I required them the evidence, however they said it's not possible.
The employee even insulted me for my language skill.
How can this happen?
I want to accuse them of committing the fraud.

I have recently booked a flight with them, and I noticed after a few days I had misspelt my partner's last name (by just one letter). I immediately checked the airline policy and, after confirming this was a very easy and quick fix, I contacted MyTrip.
Well, after 2 months of me calling and emailing them almost daily to get an update, they told me the airline did not allow name changes and I should just cancel the ticket. Thing is, I knew they were lying cause they told me this AFTER we had already gotten on the flight (the lady at check-in fixed it in 2 seconds).
I am 100% sure they never contacted the airline and tried to get me to cancel it to keep the money for themselves.
Thankfully everything went well, but I was so anxious about this whole thing I didn't sleep for a week before getting on the flight. This company is super shady and awful, it's not worth the little money you save by booking through them. I for sure will never use MyTrip again.
My flight was cancelled by airline company, not by me.
Mytrip take 30 pounds fees for refund. But the ticket itself cost 50 pounds. They take more than a half. Why I should pay if flight was cancelled not because of me?

Disgusting. Just disgusting. No knowledge of anything. I am so outraged. Stay away and pay a bit extra. There's no need for me to give you finer details of the situation, just here to give you, another human being, a genuine warning. Please save yourself the time and hassle. I will be getting my refund but all I know is that blood, sweat and tears have gone into this. Save yourselves. It's too late for me.
As out page is loading for the final payment, page popped that there was a price increase! Within seconds! Not good! We didn't want to type up all the information for all the 6 passengers again so we were left with NO CHOICE! Upsetting!
au.mytrip.com (MyTrip) is not transparent and have no interest in customer service nor fair consumer practices. I will never use My Trip again and I don't recommend this Travel Agency to anyone. They are almost impossible to contact and when this eventually does occur offer no assistance or support. Please please do not deal with this organisation.
Booked flights from UK to Halifax, Nova Scotia. Two flights either way. Paid £160 to reserve specific seats, since my mum is a nervous 1st time flyer and really wanted to make sure she was sat next to me. Neither of the flights had our seats reserved. We complained via email and I've beeb told that I'm not getting refunded any money for the reserved seating, and that the return flights don't have seats reserved either.
Very annoyed to check in for the trip home to find that even though we paid My Trip for luggage for both flights they didn't book luggage with Ryanair for the return flight so had a nice 59.99 euro charge to get the luggage home. Message looking for a refund and been told we are not a priority. Not a good experience with this company and won't be silly enough to use them again
Do yourself a favor and NEVER use this agency! I booked a flight with them and during the process the page froze and the site wrote that my card was not charged so I made the reservation again, just to receive two confirmations. They ended up charging me for two identical tickets! When I called to cancel the operator was very unhelpful and condescending and they made me pay a cancellation fee. I tried to issue a complaint but their policy only allows you to do so two months after the flight! Worst experience I ever had in booking flights.
I wanted to make them some changes in my reservation. They charged me 78€ and then they were not able to do it but kept the money.
Choose any other platform of those but hands off mytrip.
Also I have to say that the CS agent was arrogant and incompetent.
Avoid this company. We had booked a flight to Canada. Contacted several times the company via email and phone to postpone the trip. According to the reservation policy this was possible. Also the airline confirmed that the trip can be postponed by email. No adequate response till one week before the trip. Received an email saying if you agree that we will receive 50$ administration cost, we will postponed it otherwise you should pay the full charge! So basically they forced us to pay for their horrible service. Won't recommend this company.
Do not use this online agency, My trip they are scammers from India, sometimes i called follow up a refund tickets and they put me on hold and then hung up. Two Times i called on a french number and they answered with an indian accent which is strange
Booked my flight and paid, next day received an email that my booking is cancelled due to "a technical reason". They also suggested that i book directly with the airline. Exactly, you should stay away and book directly with the airline or travel agent. Totally non trusted booking platform.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Please do not use this company. The airline issued a refund over 3.5 months ago after cancelling flights yet my trip are not issuing the refund. I have tried to make a complaint and speak someone over the last 3.5 months but their customer service and complaints procedure is non existent. Please avoid them at all costs!
I always get the best deals with My Trip and have also found them helpful when I had concerns or queries.
They did a mistake in a reservation of a flight from Miami to Mexico City. I couldn't check in and forced to pay another 50$ for not checking in time. The customer support told me "show them the travel document an it'll be fine", not what happened.
Definitely now buying with them again.
Absolutely shocking. Do not book with these - avoid at all costs. Our flight for July has been cancelled so contacted these tonight after already trying twice and being on hold for 45 mins each time and getting sick so hung up. Tonight I persisted... For two hours. I eventually got through to someone after an hour and a half and was passed from pillow to post four times. Over 2 hours later, (the picture shows this) spoke to someone who said we can't change our flights - despite receiving an email from them saying that we needed to call them to change the flight as it had been cancelled. (After I enquired with Norwegian air, who we were supposed to be flying with.) I ended up requesting a refund because they couldn't change the flight (no other option) and was charged £30 to request to refund. F*** knows if I will receive the refund. I am so so annoyed and upset.
I have called so many times it all a scam, they literally lie to get you off the phone and its the same every time, I have forwarded this to my senior manager at accounts and you will be getting an email confirmation about you refund in the next 3 to 5 days, well its been 1 year and 2 weeks or 372 days
I booked a flight and had to cancel it,I have been calling and waiting for my 1000,00 refund for 4 months now, they admit they have the money just won't send it, I think they are drawing interest on the money. Please do not use this company.
I bought a one-way flight ticket. Due to personal reasons, I had to cancel the flight within 24 hours. Disregarding the fact that the Airline company returns the full price of the ticket in such cases, MyTrip returned nothing mentioning that the tickets are not refundable according to the airlines' policies. They also refused to provide any sources of these policies as well.
Airline changed flight dates and mytrip. Is useless to request any solution to the customer. They only offer refund after i had to pay 54 euros for administration fee which is a robbery.
After 2 weeks i still do receive my money back.

Answer: NO! They won't provide any service, unless you pay a penalty. Even if you need assistance for a situation that is outside your responsibility. This is really the type of sales an marketing organizations that ads nothing, just takes commissions and turns away when they need to deliver. Stay away!
