I booked a flight with MyTrip.com and at the beginning i didn't want to order baggage. After few days I changed my mind and wanted to add baggage to my booking. I couldn't find any place on the management booking site where I could add baggage to my booking so I contacted the customer support. After a few days they answered me they charge extra for this service. So apart from the cost of the baggage itself, they charge almost the price of the baggage only for that "service". WHAT?!?!?!?
I spent over a year trying to rebook a flight due to Covid. Must have spent 10 hours on phone over the year. Lots of emails. Now they say my booking has lapsed. What a joke! This company should be deregistered. Dont use!
I booked round trip flight; airline change schedules; mytrip.com. Notify and asked me to choose:
- if i accept d changes, click accept button.
- if i want another schedule, pay admin fee button and customer service will contact you.
I click admin fee payment; after charging me $80 admin fee, 6weeks later and multiple follow up emails i sent; i called long distance to their only phone #.
3 people from.mytrip.com said. The $80 i paid was they help me do the affected airline changes.
If i dont want what mytrip. Com imposed, i have to pay another $80 to check if they can help me for another date but no guarantee i can get & no refunds.

I booked a ticket with my trip to try on the 6th of April I booked it before Airlines started cancelling and for the past week I have been looking to see see if my plane is flight from Heathrow. I could not see it so I phoned Lufthansa and they told me it's been cancelled and I have to phone mytrip because they booked it for me. Today I have spent 3 hours 40 minutes on the phone trying to get through to them eventually I got through I asked a few questions and got put on hold again. Now mytrip has told me I cannot get a refund because of the cancellation I have to ring Lufthansa and ask for permission.
Which means I will have to wait in a queue for the Lufthansa to get permission and if they give permission I will have to wait in a queue to speak to my trip again. As far as I am aware if you employ a travel agent to do your flights for you is anything goes wrong as an agent they should be able to sort it out. So I have just lost the money I saved for my aeroplane tickets
Myself and a number of colleagues booked a flight with Mytrip, despite the airline changing flight times and requesting a refund we have not recieved any confirmation of a refund. Customer service is a disgrace
You can purchase a ticket, but afterwards you are not able to reach them any more. Phone numbers do not work. Reply to any email is only an automatic reply asking you to go to website and manage your questions there - but you are not able to manage because the lack of necessary cathegorie to select.
I wanted refund because of fight cancellation. Automatic reply: turn to the airline. Airline answer: refund can be managed by your agent and not by the airline...
Everything that could possibly get wrong has gotten wrong with my booking:
1. Althoug I paied Mytrip for checked-in suitcase the airline company denied it and said Mytrip didn't put it as part of my order
2. The same happened with the on board suitcase. I have shown the airline representatives the invoice showing that I paid for those services and they told me Mytrip didn't transfer them the payment and that's a common issue with this company.
3. I contacted the call service but the representatives didn't help of courses, blame the airline company and sounded like a bot.

I have made a name change by phone on my order, they where supposed to take 100 euro and 45 usd for services, they charged 395usd to my credit card, I have been trying to get back the difference for 4 months now, they have refunded 72usd for some reason and they owe me about 180usd that they keep telling me they will return but they just dont

I bought a ticket through this service and the airline cancelled the flight. Their customer service is unavailable and they don't have any contact form. I don't have any option to get my money back. This is a skam!
As I got it they are booking you flights that are most likely to get canceled then an airline return them money back but the site never send it to you. Be aware that an airline won't send it to you even if you show that the tickets on your name because they return to the card they got payment
We booked tickets 10 hours before flight, in a huge rush. An airline cancelled the flight, gave me a phone call about it. Lucky we! We had an acquaintance in the country
Our flight was canceled by the airline and we only received a short email by mytrip with the info that we had to book another flight. We agreed but nothing happened. It needed some further calls and emails to learn that we had to pay 30.00 euros for a rebooking or cancellation (or any further information...). Some more information (and less nonsense-fees) would be nice.
Mytrip made a mistake so I could not on-board. Contacted their customer service but only incredible bad service. They even did not give any compensation for their fault. Closed your file without provided any help. PLEASE DONT USE MYTRIP.
Book my ticket first time with My Trip received my booking confirmation then get couple email late at night to say its all good then get more email booking being cancelled i have to rebook with other airlines. Avoid at all cost. Waste of time, complete Disaster. NEVER AGAIN.
I wanted to change 3 tickets I have booked from Manaus to Sao Paulo, but when I fill the change form on their website more than 4 times, the only replies I had from them was automated replies saying that I would be contacted by a representative. I have called their US customer service, they couldn't retrieve my bookings. No answer on their Greece phone numbers. I have finally talk to a representative on their France phone number but they couldn't help me. I have called the airline directly, they told me it is only MyTrip who can make the changes. I have lost $490.10. I had to rebook the flights. Be aware.
I am actually angry at Kayak.com for even advertising this travel agency (Mytrip.com). I only bought the ticket through them because I trust Kayak, but never again. I couldn't travel to Europe as expected in July because of Europe blocking entry to US citizens due to COVID. The airline was impossible to deal with. When I finally reached someone, they told me to contact the airline for refund and the airline sent me back to them for refund. I had to stop payment via the credit card. Avoid at all cost. I plan to write a letter of complaint to Kayak.
I booked my ticket through mytrip and when I encountered problems with my ticket, they said they could not do anything. When I spoke to my airlinez they said that the agency needed to do it as they made the booking. But, the agency refused, and also refused to contact the airline. So I was left with a cancelled ticket and no way to do anything about it because my trip refused to help me.
Really Scam Site, we book 3 tickets from My trip last year in May 2022 then cancel next day because of my personal reason before cancel i called customer service and they said if you cancel we can refund you in full you can cancel anytime, but now waiting since 8 months and I called and email many many times but same response every time, they excuse me they didn't get refund from airline yet then I called airline and airline confirm that they already refund them same time, airline don't take so long and not excuse like these guys, it's too long and not any refund yet, but they lying every time, They send me same email all the time. Now I know I lost my CA$1600 already. I Wants to warn other people please don't buy anything from this site it's really scam my personal experience with them very very bad don't waste your money please.
Bad customer service. Cancellation policy is absurd. I was in a hurry and booked from this site thinking it was makemytrip.com. I tried to cancel it 10 minutes from the time of booking but it was impossible to get anyone on the phone. I cancelled it but I was charged handling fees/administrative fee which was half the amont of the original ticket. I was suposed to get a full refund since I paid extra for a flexible ticket and cancelled within the cancellation period. But that did not happen. This site is a SCAM!
This company are very bad in costumer service and also thief, I booked with them and they spelled my name incorrectly, after I contact right away after I see it they told me I need to contact the airline then they charge me $45 to fix it and after they take the money they never fix it. I think they are oversees located and they are liars.my advise never booking with them.

Answer: NO! They won't provide any service, unless you pay a penalty. Even if you need assistance for a situation that is outside your responsibility. This is really the type of sales an marketing organizations that ads nothing, just takes commissions and turns away when they need to deliver. Stay away!
