I placed my order 4 days ago I bought a bathing suit from this website thinking they were good due to website being put so well. My bathing suit came perfect but too small, I spoke to someone first who told me i could send it back but this was before I tried on the bottom piece and realized it was small also. My true size is medium when i thought on this site was the same thing BUT UT WASN'T. The garnet was too small, then when I called the second time a different lady gave me a different excuse saying I have to order a other was first and then send the one I have, which I found strange because I have order from other high end sites and they never told me such a thing. NOW THAT I READ ALL THESE REVIEWS I AM AFRAID TO SEND IT BACK AND NOT GET MY MONEY BACK. THESE PEOPLE DO SEEM LIKE SCAMMERS. Their return policy said one thing on the website and a different one on the receipt. BE CAREFUL WITH THEM. When I was on the phone I asked for someone higher and she said everyone left for the day which I found strange as well. For those of you who haven't got your money back YOU SHOULD FIGHT FOR IT BACK. I WOULD NEVER BUY A CROP TOP THAT I SAW MARKED FOR 300.00 THAT WAS INSANE I WOULD RATHER GO HUNTING IN STORES FOR SOMETHING WITH BETTER QUALITY. These people must be smoking something to put $#*!ed prices like those on that site, it really isn't worth the money and I am a shopaholic but I wouldn't fall for these dumb prices on these garrnents. THIS SITE DESERVES A MINUES STAR FROM ME.
I ordered foolishly without checking reviews, I should have seen the red flags like the way the BIG 60% OFF SALE seemed to last for weeks only really hovering from 50% off to 60% off(but it was EOFYS so I wasn't thinking straight), or that there were no item reviews on the website. I was so shocked and disappointed to receive my order, everything was poor quality(Barely even worth its sale price),"leather" sandals made of cheap plasticky material, They sent the wrong sunglasses(which due to looking into their return policy and realising that they make you pay for returns even if they've made a mistake - and the return shipping being more than the sunnies were worth- instead I just messaged them directly and told them that I didn't receive the sunglasses that I ordered(technically true) they just replied that they couldn't send them(?) so they refunded me, so now I just have ugly sunglasses that I'm not going to wear, but hey at least I didn't pay for them(So worth trying for people who are having issues with exchanges etc). Also the twin set pants and boob tube I purchased was pretty poor material, like that of a $2 store Halloween costume, and the boob tube in a size 8 - when not stretched out- was the circumference of my leg, further demonstrating how crappy the quality is. Overall just very low quality, not just disappointing but would go as far as to say that the store has reached scam level dodginess.
I placed my order with Nastygal last month. I received the email confirmation that they received my order. A day or two after that, I received an email that my order had shipped. This was about a month ago, and I still have NOT received my order. I have emailed customer service multiple times letting them know I was concerned that when I check their tracking, there has been no movement of my order since the day after my package went out in the mail. I then check the FedEx tracking number that is included on their tracking information, and that has only said "pending shipping date" since the day I received tracking information, and has not updated. There has been zero movement of my order according to their tracking and FedEx. Their customer service keeps giving me the run around assuring me that my package is still coming. At the beginning of speaking with customer service, they actually told me my order would be delivered November 10th, and to contact them if it doesn't come. Surprise, it didn't come. So I emailed them again, and then they told me to contact them November 26th if I still have not received my package because they are sure my package is still coming. I don't understand how it is still coming if I haven't received any updates on my tracking since day two of my package going out (mid October). The last time I spoke to customer service, I had asked for a refund since it looks as if my package is lost. They wouldn't give me a refund and asked for me to wait longer for my package. This is absolutely ridiculous. If I knew it would take over a month to receive my order, I would have never placed the order. Now I am trying to just get my money back, and their customer service isn't helpful in that area either. I guess I'll have to deal with getting my money back through my credit card company now. Ugh.

I had made a purchase using PayPal and when I returned it NastyGal gave me a store credit instead of refunding my PayPal. The $648 in credit was in my NastyGal account and when they were acquired by Boohoo my account was deleted and I could no longer access my credit. This was understandably very frustrating and as the new parent company they should have reached out but instead they didn't and I fought endlessly with Boohoo to refund my credit to PayPal which is what NastyGal was supposed to have done but when they said they couldn't do that I accepted store credit. They send me 13 merchandise credits, each for $50 each, the credits have no expiration date written on them. A few months after they were issued I used one of them to purchase a couple items but when I received the clothing I was disappointed by the quality and decided to wait to use the rest of the credits when purchasing pajamas or throwaway shoes or accessories that I would give as gifts to younger nieces and cousins. I just went to use the credit- 18 months after it was issued and when I enter the code they say expired. I wrote to NastyGal/Boohoo through their customer service portal and explained the issue in detail but they said something akin to "sorry they expired, nothing we can do about it." I wrote back and explained that they do not have any expiration dates on them or I certainly would have used them by now and they wrote again "sorry but we're sure you were notified of the expiration date" I wrote again asking them to escalate the issue to a supervisor and offering Screenshots or forwarded copies of ALL of my correspondence including the merchandise credits so that they can see that in fact there are NO expiration dates. They wrote back again to say there's nothing they will do for me and recommended I take it up with my credit card company. YES to a class action lawsuit, this company and their customer service are thieves. They have literally stolen over $600 of my hard-earned money and countless hours in communication with their customer service team which amount to nothing. I will be reaching out to PayPal asking for assistance ASAP.
I started shopping at Nasty Gal in 2011/2012 and used to shop there religiously. However, I've noticed their service has gotten progressively worse. They used to do free shipping for orders $50 or more, now it's $75 (such a strange number, and always hard to add up to get that!). Their return/exchange service also changed -- used to be no questions asked and get refund on your card you used. Now you only get store credit if you want shipping waived... How irritating. Even worse, I got a defective dress (stitching was uneven) in the mail today so I contacted them for an exchange. I think they make it a hassle now so customers wouldn't bother returning items. In this case, they told me they'll let me return it with shipping waived; HOWEVER, because I got the dress on sale, they're telling me to purchase it at FULL price and I'll get "refunded" with store credit. Yeah, right. It's a total ploy to get customers to spend more money. In the past, if I wanted an exchange on an item that was on sale, they'd honor it in a heartbeat. I totally DO NOT trust them. Another example in the past, in 2012: I got shoes that were damaged from the rain en route to my house and they happily allowed me to return it -- full refund, and shipping waived.
And get this -- with the recent dress defect, they're asking me to take a picture and email it to them to "make sure the other dresses in the same style are not defected." Um... isn't that what quality control employees are for? Shouldn't you send someone at the warehouse to check the dresses, not a customer? It's like if you're shopping at a store in the mall and noticed a dress you bought is defected and then the sales associate tells you to go to the rack where you got the dress and check if the other dresses are okay. (and just the record, I did describe what was wrong with the dress through text to the Nasty Gal agent) It just doesn't make sense for me to do all this extra work for a simple refund (and now, writing this review).
What happened to your service, Nasty Gal? I'm not surprised I no longer really shop there anymore, when I used to buy something literally every other week. Super disappointed.
I mainly only look out for sales now, because items are definitely overpriced. You can google the item you're looking at and see it cheaper elsewhere.

I want to start off by saying I rarely ever write reviews. This experience with Nastygal was so frustrating, it warranted me registering for an account to write this. So, It's been awhile since I've shopped at Nastygal. Last purchase probably made 5 years ago... recently bought a few items for an upcoming vacation. Was incredibly disappointed they had sent me the incorrect bathing suit top. To top it all off, the material for all items I ordered was VERY cheap quality. Frustrated with receiving the incorrect bikini top and customer service not getting back to me quickly to correct this, I wanted to return my whole order. Sadly, I did not think anything I purchased was worth keeping. Sizing was not consistent and also off, material was cheap, nothing was quality about my purchase. The bathing suit was okay, just a standard two piece. I would've kept that had they not sent me the wrong top. Fast forward to customer service finally getting back to me, they mentioned I could return the bathing suit but could not exchange it. I had to repurchase and place a new order for the bikini top (that I had originally bought) in order to receive it and to top it all of, pay for the return shipping costs. No apologies, no nothing. Eventually, with enough photos of proof and constant requests, they ended up covering the shipping costs. So throughout the next month, I track my order so I can anticipate my refund. It took a month plus for them to finally refund me and that's only because I reached out to customer service again and resent them photos of my tracking info. They tell me to reach back out after 28 days. I reach back out after 30+ days. Finally got refunded. How it took that long for my refund, I do not know. Probably would've taken longer had I not tracked my order. Overall, TERRIBLE experience. One of the worst online shopping experiences I've had by far. Towards the end as well, no ownership or sign of being apologetic whatsoever for such a dissatisfying customer experience. TL; DR - don't shop at Nastygal if you're looking for terribly slow customer service and poor quality clothing... also if you're looking to expect incorrect items shipped to you all the while you as a customer has to make sure you do the legwork to get issues and refunds corrected.
I have been a loyal NastyGal customer for about 4 years now. The customer service has never been great but in the past year it seems that as they grow bigger their customer service is of their least of their concern. It seems to me and from other reviews I have read on here that Nastygal's quality control is at a low point. I ordered a pair of Jeffrey Campbell beige leather booties. When I opened them in the box it was clear that the shoes had been worn. There was a large stain on the front of the shoe and a number of noticeable scuffs everywhere. It looks to me as if someone had spilled something on the shoe and a girl in shipping decided to clean the stain with a chemical and it looked "good enough" to send to a customer as new. Naturally I contacted their customer service live chat (which is the biggest waste of time – but that is another story) and was re-directed to their email service with no information whatsoever. No where.
Now it is up to me to take my time to PRINT the label, PACK the items, DRIVE to ups to ship the item back because of NASTYGAL'S mistake for sending a defective item. Then WAIT for my refund (which took 15+ business days last time, which by reading the previous reviews, I am considered "lucky" to have even gotten it back.)
Additionally, during our conversation through email it sounded like a robot because she would have the same opening welcome line and same ending line. I had to ask questions repeatedly for her to answer since she would not answer them the first and second time.
The clothes are cool and trendy but it seems as if the customer service representatives think that having helpful considerate customer service is not. I guess it's not "cool" or "trendy" to apologize for a mistake at this company. Bottom line: I do NOT and will not recommend buying from NastyGal. You may not have an issue with them now like I did in the past, but sooner or later you will if you continue to shop there. To me, the items are not worth the stress and dealing with their terrible customer service. Sending the shoes back will mean they will try to rip off some other customer by sending it to them trying to pass it as "new."
PLEASE GIVE THE NEW OWNERS OF NASTY GAL A CHANCE, MOST OF THE ISSUES THAT CUSTOMERS HAVE ARE WITH THE OLD CAMPANY.

Answer: Hi! I had to order 2 sizes up... these clothes are made for slim petite women. If u are not then order at least one size up.
Answer: I never ordered Anything from this company, they got my debt card # and just started to Take funds out of my acc. That is how they got caught, I would NEVER order anything from them! Be very careful if you do.
