We started our service with Nextiva July 1st. They somehow "forgot" to route the calls from our business number to the phone number they assigned me, so I received ZERO calls for the 1st 6 hours of the workday - I had to call a customer I was friends with to call and troubleshoot the issue for me because their CS people would call the number and, once they heard the menu message, said it worked fine, but it wasn't until someone actually pushed a menu option that the issue was discovered. This was our FIRST day with Nextiva! I don't know if it could be any more unprofessional. Since then, I've had to sign in and out of the app anywhere from 3-8 times about every other day just to be able to receive calls; they drop or fail constantly, both through the phone app and the desktop app. When I've called to have them troubleshoot, they'd open a ticket then close it without ever providing me a resolution. I've had to waste hours at a time during my workday (which means I can't take calls from our customers or make calls to them during that time) to "fix" these ongoing issues just to be met with "uh, I don't know why you're having that problem" or "let me try this" only to have nothing resolved. I'm also not getting all the voicemails that people leave. This has caused my job to become exponentially harder to do on a daily basis. We're coming up on 3 months of service with them with over half of that time receiving sub-par service.
While I am not tech savvy, it was only a short whil to get up and running. I made a few calls and the sound clarity is really good - actually an improvement on the old landline with its static problems. It is great for the monthly price and no contract. Would definitely recommend Nextiva!
Nextiva allows our team of remote workers to function like a single office and that’s really important for the success of a startup like ours. The setup was a breeze, the customer service chat feature clutch, and in a day our new and improved call flows all set. 10/10 just make the switch you will not regret it! We certainly don't! We have even traveled internationally and haven't missed a beat with their mobile app. Freedom!
Started working for my Moms company about 3 months ago and one of the first tasks I was given when I started working was finding a VOIP service for our company to use. While I wasnt too excited for this task, I did end up learning quite a bit about the VOIP industry and the different companies and services that exist. I called about 5 different companies, one of which was Nextiva. Out of all of the companies I called Nextiva was the second most affordable and the service package we purchased came with more than enough features. However, it was their customer service that I was most impressed with. They really took care of me and they were not pushy when it came to selling me their service. Since then we have only had good experiences and would recommend them to any type of business. Thanks Nextiva.

NEXTIVA has the worst customer service I have encountered in business telephones in many years of business. Every issue is shunted to off-shore call centers and reps that can't problem-solve anything. There is no way to elevate questions to a supervisor, and no way to talk to a person of knowledge/intelligence to address a problem. Porting services (my main issue) are a nightmare. Its hard to get into Nextiva, but next to impossible to get out(!). Prepare yourself to waste multiple business days of staff time trying to deal with incompetent and uncooperative "Amazing" support people who run you in circles. If you are thinking of NEXTIVA, I suggest you THINK AGAIN.

Nextiva claims high reliability; nothing can be further from the truth. Go to a site called downdetector.com and you will see the amount of outages. I dis find a provider called Vinixglobal.com that has the best business phone service designed for the environment in which we live. They have an excellent hybrid solution to accommodate your remote employees.

Nextiva staff have been very helpful every step of the way from signup to installation and until now. They helped me understand the system to help me utilize the features I need to their fullest step-by-step via a phone call and via email. They have been wonderful.
We love Nextiva because it makes it so much easier to connect the outside sales force and people can work from anywhere in the country while connected to the office. When clients call in looking for a specific salesperson, it is easy to transfer the call to any cell or landline phone. Since there’s never a missed call, there’s never a missed opportunity to grow the business. Nextiva has been a great investment.
My experience with Nextiva's customer service has been exceptional. Their agents are dedicated, and will happily spend as much time resolving any issues as is required.

I run a small retail business and have had Vonage for 5 years, but after the recent fiasco with their technical support restructuring, I decided to try Nextiva. Beware. Your business phone system is very critical to your success and having unreliable VOIP service must be avoided. These are my biggest complaints about Nextiva after one month with their service:
1. The service is reliable, but if you want too use your mobile device to receive calls on their app, forget it. Calls immediately drop when answering from my phone with the Nextiva App. Several resets and other time wasting calls to support did not resolve this serious flaw.
2. The Nextiva app does not offer distinct ring tone, so both incoming personal and business calls have the same ring. Vonage offers distinctive ring tones, which I really miss.
I guess I'll be returning to Vonage since I've experienced too many dropped calls. I must add that Nextiva support is awesome, far better than Vonage. The problem lies with their dropped calls and inability to resolve this technical issue.
After many years of dealing with bulking phones, I love the ease and convenience of Nextiva. Not only does it have incredible clarity, it is easy to use and navigate.
An absolute terrible experience so far. We were misled by the sales rep and missed our 30 trial window by 4 days because of it. The company refused to budge demanding two thousand dollars to break our contract early. And the reasons, after only 2 weeks of service we wanted out was that nothing worked correctly, from lines deregistering to line positions and the display changing, seemingly on there own to call parking slots that did nothing or even worse, just hung up on the customers. I have personally spent over 50 hours (literally) on hold or with a tech support person, mostly from Ukraine. I averaged each issue took about 2 hours to fix. But every time they eventually 'fixed' an issue or request, something else boke, causing another long phone call. I would never recommend this company and have found many many negative reviews stating almost exactly the same issues we are facing. I do not look forward to the next 15 month using them and am wondering how many customers we will loose while struggling with this system. And if Nextiva is reading this 'real world' review, please don't patronize me by responding. Your customer retention staff are rude and aggravating to speak with. Once our contract is over, we are gone. BEWARE

Nextiva is the telephone service IMHO. I’m saving like $50 per month! It works the same as a normal phone. There’s no choppy calling or dropped calls. And I get unlimited calling!
Nextiva are the worst! Terrible service! Cuts out all the time. On cancelling they are still charging my card a year later and claiming they got no cancellation! We are reporting it to bank as fraud! Dimitri their so called manager of customer service was sarcastic, rude, shouted over everything I said and had no interest in resolving the problem! As a professional business woman we have worked with many companies NEVER HAD THIS UNPROFESSIONAL FRAUDSTER SERVICE EVER They claim they keep recordings of conversations when I asked them to pull mine they said oh we don't keep them that long! Convenient! Apart from their horrible customer service in general the system is USELESS
Worst phone system and support ever
I've had this system since December 2020 and have nothing but problems since then examples, 1) 5 to 10 second delay when you pick up the phone and you were able to talk to the person calling in 2) when answering the phone cannot hear the person calling in but they can hear you so the customer gets aggravated having to call back. 3) put the person on hold then try to re-engage the line and it will not pick up then finally disconnect them. The list goes on, every time you call In to support it's another issue on your end that you have to resolve although they fix the temporarily and then two or three days later same problems come back over and over and over.
I thought I had problems when I was with spectrum, but that seems like the best system ever compared to this I would recommend you looking at other reviews and be careful with them not a good system by any standards. Would never recommend them and after my contract is over I will go with someone else, my lawyer looking into breaking the contract. So if you're in the same predicament document everything so that you have back up.
I dont know what happened to them. They went from an excellent VoIP provider with the best customer service and support, to horrible! Our system started to disconnect and would ring busy and at times the phones would just ring for hours, but no one on the lines. Support kept telling us to try this or that, to upgrade our modem and internet service, which we did everything we were told to do to fix the issues. But nothing worked. We were losing business without our phones. After 5 yrs of being with them we had to switch companies. And they were just horrible to us, when we switched. They kept trying to bill us even after we ported out our numbers, and we sent in our cancellation notice. Our contract had expired 3 yrs earlier, and we were on a month to month. They became the most rude and unthinkable type of people to deal with when we started having issues. They must have had a new turn over for management or something, because what ever took place, was not for the better. I can not recommend this company any longer. And that really makes me sad.

First thing is, their support and customer service are great! They surpass most other companies with their excellent support team! The system they use for VoIP is clear and without static. We use a 10 line system, and it was a bit different than the old system we used, but Nextiva walked us through it and made the training easy and quick. I love the people at Nextiva! Its really hard to find really good customer service these days, but the Nextiva staff really do put customer satisfaction at the top of their list.

Worst experience with a service. VOIP set up is not user friendly. A great deal of time and phone calls were spent on issues. Each service seems to have a different department and different person to speak with. Service was not worth length of time it takes for them to set up the dashboard, the time I had to dedicate to do the setup configuration, the countless time I have been on hold or had to talk to representatives, and the quality/reliability of the calls. Cancellation of VOIP has been a nightmare. My VOIP account was renewed after I received cancellation confirmation. I was furious after the numerous time and phone calls it took to actually get the cancellation confirmed. The excuse was that they had to migrate fax history since I was keeping my fax number. For a company that handles large businesses, the fact that they cannot transfer a fax history timely is concerning. I will be cancelling the fax service as soon as the VOIP issue is resolved and "finally cancelled". I wish I could bill them for the hours I have wasted with the countless phone calls with them. Stay away from Nextiva and save yourself a lot of wasted time and frustration.
