You have to take about 7 steps to cancel their service. And even if you do there's a chance it might not even go through. Plus customer service is terrible they're basically automated bots. The service itself isn't very good either within the 6 months I got it I had more emails about my accounts being compromised then I ever had before.
This used to be a great VPN. Simple and effective. But Nord has increasing quality issues across multiple platforms. It either won't let you login, or when you do it won't connect, or will run into updating issues. On top of this, they will renew your subscription at an exorbitant rate, and refuse to refund you if you come across quality issues like I did. A VPN that doesn't connect is broken, any way you slice it, and customers deserve to know that this once great VPN is no longer what it once was, and that their customer service is just as terrible as their product is. It's time for everyone to start evaluating other options.
I was billed at a higher rate on the second year renewal and when I complained they refused to issue a refund and compensated by extending my subscription by 18 months.
1 year later they bill me AGAIN although my subscription is still active for another year+. When I contacted them for a refund they refuse once more and say that my services were set to expire because I was on a 1 year plan; never mind the fact that I have years and years of active service because they seem to not believe in refunds. Once they have your money they will not return it.
Unfortunately, I have experienced difficulty accessing the Nord servers in Iran and despite contacting customer service several times, I have received the same unhelpful response each time. In my experience, this has led to a lack of customer satisfaction. I would recommend exercising caution before investing in a service that may not be able to meet your needs in the specific region.

I purchased Nord VPN October 16 2023. I needed help immediately. Threat protection was stopping me accessing a legitimate web site which was primary purpose for purchasing the VPN in the first place. Nord does not have phone support. They only reply to help emails about once in 24 hours. They could not solve my issue and stopped responding to me November 1. I asked for my money back within the time frame based on the 30 day money back guarantee. I have received no replies on 2 emails about my money back. I have not received a credit to my credit card either. If you purchase this product and need support or have issues good luck! 30 day money back guarantee is just a sales ploy and obviously means nothing to Nord

Downloaded on trail period, cancelled by subscription in the app and uninstalled as it DOES NOT WORK. I gave this feedback when uninstalling. Forgot about it until I saw my bank statement where I saw I'd still been charged for a 1-year subscription - £98! For something that DOES NOT WORK. Refused refund as outside of 30-days refund period (by a few days). I do not even have the app installed.

Just terrible service. Im currently in Abu Dhabi and when I try to connect it works for like 2 minutes and then it stops. Waste of money + they will try to charge you without your knowledge, so be very carefull
