Ive been a lot more active the past few years. Saw the ad, pants on sale. Figured id give a try. Loved them. Got another pair.very comfortable. I like i dont need to wear compression pant underneath, no chaffing. Pockets are pretty good. And i like that they feel like real pants.

The order was shipped quickly and the oackage could be track easily.
The pants are superb, warm and seems sturdy.
I already wore them for motorcycle rides and I don't feel the wind coming through, which is very good.
I was expertise them a bit stretchier (reason for 4 stars), we I bend the knees the waist drops down a bit. Maybe they will become smoother with time.
I order size 12 short tactical pants black.
Very glad of my purchase.

Products were disappointing and therefore considered seriously overpriced.
The sizing is now on the small size whereas it used to be accurate.
Delivery was slow.
Overall not a good experience this time round.

I ordered a pair of adventure pants, and they are fantastic. I am always nervous buying clothing without being able to try it on, but the Northbound Gear information on the website for sizing and fit proved right on. The pants are super comfortable and perform exactly as described. The order process was easy and clear. There was lots of communication from the team. Well done. I will order again.

The pants I received are really well made and I'm looking forward to trying them out in the mountains next weekend.

I clicked on a Facebook ad for Northbound Gear and thought I would give them a try. The pants I ordered are of excellent quality and were delivered in about 3 days. I use them for ice fishing and cutting wood in NE Wisconsin. I ordered a second pair! Great job NBG!

I was a bit dismayed about the shopping experience. I was trying to use the discount code sent to me "EARTH20" which is supposed to be good until April 26 for an additional 20% off anything in stock. It did not work. I bought the waterproof jeans anyway without the additional discount as I would like to try them for motorcycle riding and needed to order now for my May ride. However I did not appreciate that the discount code did not work.

On a whim a few years ago I purchased a pair of the "adventure" water resistant pants. Over the years these pants have become my staple for any fall/winter/spring outdoor activities: Hiking, Mountain Biking, Winter Fatbiking, XC Skiing, and just general day to day wear, when I want a warmer lined, and windproof pant. I usually blow the knees out of my pants, but the heavy duty reinforced knee fabric has held up like they are still new on those pants. I use them so much I purchased a 2nd pair last month in the new green colour. Highly recommended.

However Northbound send way too many marketing emails which resulted in me unsubscribing. Too many emails have the opposite effect ending up downgrading the brand.

I had ordered another pair of pants which I thought were the same as my older pants which I adore. I love the cut, style and comfort those pants afforded me. So ordered what I thought was the same but in Tan. Turns out the styling was changed and they are now 1.5 inches wider in the thigh and don't sit right on my legs. So very disappointed. Asked why and they said new styling. So that was news to me. Then they said send them back in the original packaging and with the tags left on. Well I never keep the tags or bags so I was out of luck.
I was always a big supporter but not anymore.
