The women's adventure pants have one less pocket and no reinforced knees. They also don't have the cute orange zippers that the men's do. Trust the size guide, the size numbers are not the same as most clothing. Exchange process has been easy enough so far.

Excellent service and I am very satisfied. The sizing guide was accurate, however, I did not follow the recommendation to go lower in size if you are in between sizes. I preferred a bit more room through the waist and seat. They are perfect for me.

I ordered my pants at the beginning of January and got an initial delivery notice for January 10. That was changed once to January 12, then became January 12, then indefinite. I followed up by email with Northbound Gear and was told someone would look into it. No followup so I emailed again and got just another apology.
Finally I was notified by Shop.com that Delivery would be January 30, and by checking the Post Office tracking I saw that my package had just cleared customs! After that all proceeded on schedule and I am happy with my pants.

I was a little bit skeptical buying clothing online, but decided to take a punt based on the great prices of both the adventure pants and the tactical jacket. I haven't tested them out in the bush yet, but even wearing them around the city keeps me so warm.

The weather-resistant adventure pants kept popping up on social media. I checked the company out (because some of those pop-ups are sketchy) and decided they were the real deal I'm a horse person, and I thought these pants would be really great for winter barn days. I'm very pleased with the pants. I'm between a 6 and 8 women's, so I ordered the 6 and the fit is perfect.

First time buyer and impressed with customer service and the on line buying experience but you could save yourself a whole lot of customer service time if the package tracking actually worked. I had to contact customer service twice to check on my package delivery status and even then just cross my fingers. It turned out for the best, but not knowing package status makes me think twice about future purchases.

Dry quick delivery. I think Northbound gear make excellent products. Very comfortable and durable. This purchase was the UV shirt. Very light and comfortable but on hot days +30° C it was warm.

Like all of their products I will buy more.

I purchased these for work, which is outside in all weather. They have kept me dry in very wet conditions and fit as expected. I am think of purchasing the fleece lined adventure trousers for the winter as a result of this.

I am very happy with the purchase of my trousers and they fit perfectly. I am unable to trial them at the moment as I have bought them for the Australian winter which is in the next 12 months. Look forward to seeing how they perform in a cross country situation.

Just ordered my second pair of trousers, first pair in my regular 36 had been far too big. Fortunately a friend bought them from me. Ordered 34 which are a great fit, I feel with the Stretch fabric you can get away with a snug fit. Let's see how the do in the autumn!

The high level of comfort is deceiving given the degree of protection these quality pants provide. Trekking across a rugged landscape or kneeling over a hole in the ice, these pants move with you. Ordered 1 snug fit for active days and 1 slightly loose fit to allow room for a second layer on colder days. Great quality gear!

I'll first say that i have never given a negative review - however, i wanted to warn other people. I bought 2 pairs of pants - I could tell immediately that i did not like the material or the fit. I tried calling and emailing to find out how to get a refund. After NO response and finally then getting an email (3 attempts) - the message said that i needed to wait to see if they will "approve" allowing me to return the items. Then waited days later to find out that i have to pay for shipping myself to Canada and then will be charged a $5 fee. It was completely unacceptable the hoops they have us go through and then we are charged for shipping and restocking. NOT a way to treat a customer. I will NOT be buying anything again since the return process was horrible.

Bought Apex Waterproof jacket. Very nice product. Actually too warm outside to use it so far in this weird winter in New England. I do have an issue with the tracking numbers on shipments with both this purchase and a previous one. I live in the US, so any product I get from Northbound is imported and must go through customs. The US Postal Service tracking that Northbound includes when the product ships is never accurate- USPS will indicate that the tracking number cannot be found in their system. My purchase took almost 3 weeks to get here. The good news is that the Northbound customer service team is very responsive and can identify where your purchase is in the shipment cycle, which was very helpful.

Both the original order of Adventure Pants, and the replacement pair in a smaller size took a long time to be delivered. Despite getting a delivery date email, the parcel didn't arrive until a few weeks later.
The pants are great. Have kept the cold wind and snow out very well.

Great service in the shopping experience and delivery. I'm just waiting to try that pants on my next mountain next month. Will be Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

The delivery took much longer than expected. The pants are of no better quality than those similar that I ordered from Amazon for $35. Very overpriced. They are however warm, comfortable and I like the high waist option

I ordered a pair for my boyfriend and he loves them. They didn't come in a woman's (size18) for me but I found out I could wear his - 38/28 so bought me some too! Great for hiking. They breathe very well while keeping you dry!
