I don't usually post reviews. Felt compelled to do so today thanks to the excellent customer service from this company. I returned an item months ago but never received a credit. Suddenly remembered today and called them. The customer service rep (Terence) was very apologetic and promptly processed my request for refund. Keep up the good work One Kings Lane!
I ordered a bed from them for a client project. It came in irreparably damaged and they refused to refund or replace despite photos of it in the box because it was more than 30 days. They didn't even bother to respond to my submission to their customer service department and I had to call to get them to tell me "tough luck" Order number 767750
Bought the 94" "Moore Sofa" made by South Cone Home for nearly $2000. The frame now squeaks like a cheap bed. Back cushions are disproportionately thick and uncomfortable. They are now selling the same sofa under a different name, "Charlotte Sofa". DO NOT BUY this poorly designed, badly manufactured sofa but if you already have and are experiencing the same problem, let OKL know so they stop selling this terrible item.
Good products, but I didn't like the fact that when signing up or referring a friend they said I'd get store credit, but didn't mention that there would be a minimum charge in order to get it (maybe I missed it in the tiny, tiny small print)...
I compared prices on 1kl with ebay, etse and Chairish. 1KL FRAGMENTS IDENTITY Charges $425 for the identical pillow on etse for $49.99! They sell batik pillows that you can get for 65 on etse for 349 on 1kl. African indigo stripe pillow. 1kl 345, etse 49.99. Exact same pillow, same backing and same fill... total rip off. 1kl says its originally priced at $600... Bull...! MIKE SERRATT has fake match strikers that he sells for for $299. You can find them on ebay and etse for 49.99 One kings lane is a big scam in my opinion.The ORIGINAL prices mean nothing... they are all made up. I read that they are going under... about time they went away. I now shop on Chairish... go and compare. Even the SAME dealers selling the SAME item are selling it for way less on Chairish. I have compared dozens of items and they are almost all at least double on 1kl!
I purchased a painting on One Kings Lane on April 3, and paid for it via PayPal. I received an email stating the delivery would be made between April 12 and the 15th. That was the last email or communication that I received. I contacted One Kings Lane around the 12th and was told I would get a response within three business days. Finally heard back that they were reaching out to the vendor. Received an email yesterday with a tracking number stating that I would receive the painting today. The painting was never delivered and was never delivered to Fedex as stated. Buyer beware...

Be careful when ordering to non-continental US addresses. The website does not publish any of the actual costs to Hawaii and Alaska but charges prices greater than even second day air. Delivery can take nearly 2 months. I am still waiting for an order placed on July 8th. It is now estimated to arrive on August 26th. When customer service was contacted, no one emailed back EVER until I emailed again, at which time they said they had emailed, but they really hadn't. As a means of answering my question regarding shipping costs to Hawaii, they sent me a link to the same page that says shipping is based on total spent... they obviously don't even read their own website to know it doesn't state how much shipping is. In short, expect to pay second day air prices for shipping that is clearly ground shipping and takes up to 2 months time. I will never shop at OKL again. OKL, if you want to do something about it, refund my shipping costs!

We purchased a rug for our guest room, a space in our house that gets used maybe 5 times a year max. My husband and I were moving furniture around when we noticed some discolored patches. At first we weren't sure what they were, then realized they matched the traffic patterns around the furniture. Less than 10 months of use of a $400 rug and it looks horrible. The rug that was originally blue has worn and now looks yellow in areas. Of all the rugs we've ever purchased, I've NEVER seen one wear so poorly, especially when its hardly walked on. Frankly, if the rug were in my living room and walked on daily I'd still think that level of quality is unacceptable. OKL doesnt believe its their problem since we're passed the return window. We now have a rug that needs to be replaced at our expense as OKL refuses to stand behind their products. Stay FAR away.

Will not order jewelry from this site again. I ordered a druzy necklace as a gift for my daughter. I realize that this is a natural stone but, necklace that was pictured was significantly different in color from what I received. Not returnable! My experience is if an item is NOT returnable there is a reason. I won't forget this $70 leason.

I've been waiting a month for a refund. I've called about once a week to check, as they have advised me to do, and still am being told "it's coming." I will not order from here ever again.
I ordered recently a sofa and it was delivered on time but the color of the fabric was so faded that it seems like the sofa was standing in the sun for some time. There were also stripes within the fabric and the color was different from the color which this company advertised on their website's photo. Also the fabric itself which is linen must be the cheapest one available, very rough. I'm very disappointed. That was my first purchase and most likely the last one. Before delivery, I got automated phone calls from the company four days in a row telling me about delivery on each of those days, which never happened. The first call informed me of delivery on the date of call in a window between 1PM-6PM. The automated call was made at 5:50PM. Another call gave a window of 1PM- ******* (No Joke). The final call gave a military time between 1800 and 1 which would equate to 6PM in the evening and 1 o'clock in the morning.
I order 5 bracelets in 2 orders from OKK. I received the 1st order no problem. 2nd order was not delivered... went to check the order details... OKK had given both orders the same shipping/tracking?!? I called and was told I would receive a refund. Followed up 2 weeks later still no bracelets or refund... told again I would receive a refund, but first I had to return the bracelets I never received! Showed them their system error, told again I would receive a refund. Still no refund, so called again... told same runaround and given a new case #... we will see if I ever get a refund... it has been a month so far. Also 1st order bracelets sucked.

I love browsing this site, but only just recently went to purchase a couple of items. And the reason I didn't go through with the purchase is that I got to PayPal when I noticed a shipping charge that more than doubled the price of my order and was MULTIPLE times as expensive as the shipping charges they quote on their site. No explanation was included. The added shipping cost was a scam for what I was buying. The items I was looking at I was able to find on Amazon or the product company's website directly for less with shipping than OKL was charging me. After reading these reviews, I will only ever use this as a window shopping website, and search out any specific items elsewhere to purchase.

Nearly every single item I've ordered from OKL has been defective. I guess I've finally learned my lesson as the table I just got arrived with ALL of it's legs broken off and sharp jagged metal edges sticking out everywhere. I will never order from OKL again.

It was very difficult to find return instructions on website. I finally called them (about 1 month after I received the item) because I could not find instructions on line - or a time limit to return the rug. I wanted to return the rug because the quality was poor (shiny, cheap looking fabric) I first was told I had to send pictures of it - and then was told after discussing that I couldn't get pictures there for a while because the rug is at my lake house, and I wouldn't be there for about a week and a half. The customer care person told me that I couldn't return it at all because it had been too long. I will not shop at one kings lane again, and I will advise people if they ask me not to shop there either. Very disappointing.

I ordered 2 directors chairs that were pictured online in a bleached bamboo wood. The color of the chairs I received was a dark mahogany burgundy color, no where near what was on the website. Also, the chairs were wobbly, and were not even the same height as one of them was about two inches taller than the other and the wood was damaged. I contacted them in less than an hour after received my shipment, both on the phone and emails. I sent pictures of everything and they wrote me back saying they would refund 5% for the damage and that the chair color was what was on the website. Hilarious, it's as if they said black and white were the same color. I had no plans to purchase or own defective merchandise for any price, including free! They have refused to take back the chairs, which were only about $225. I have spent thousands of dollars on merchandise at One Kings Lane over the years, never ever again. With customer service like that, why even have customer service at all. Buyers beware!

In the past I have purchased thousands of dollars of wonderful things from OKL. My last purchase didnt work out - it was some bedding that wasnt quite the color that I saw on line. It arrived in 2 different boxes. When I went to return it, they charged me $20 TWENTY DOLLARS per box! I shop a lot on line and $9.99 is pretty standard or a site credit. I was stunned. NEVER AGAIN!
Do yourself a favor and don't buy anything from One Kings Lane. Not only will it arrive broken (I've received a damaged mirror, coffee table TWICE, shelf, and counting.) but your experience with customer service will be infuriatingly, horrendously, mind-numbingly terrible. I would use more descriptive, albeit colorful, language if this wasn't a public site. I hate One Kings Lane for many reasons, but more than anything, I hate them for the countless hours of my life they've wasted trying to get in contact with someone in customer service who can actually fulfill a task. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. You will regret it, as I have ten-fold. I would give them negative stars if this site would let me.

These folks are the WORST. I have never experienced such poor customer service--after purchasing over $7K and complaining about my couch not arriving after 7 weeks of waiting, the rep was snarky rude and basically asked me why don't I just cancel. So, I did along with all other pending orders! They don't need MY or YOUR money. DO NOT order from here.
I bought 4 leather dining chairs, (paid for) I recieved different chairs. Initially they sounded helpful, but then "Oh it will take 3-5 weeks to contact the vender and we can't do anything until then." We can take it back and you will get your money back then, In the mean time I don't have the chairs I paid for but they have my money. They asked me to send pictures to confirm the problem which I did. It is false advertising. It's not my fault that they or thier venders sent cheaper chairs.
I ordered a dresser from One Kings Lane and over the course of a month, it was delivered incorrectly TWICE. Both times, only one of the two boxes that are required to assemble the dresser were delivered. I now have two boxes of the same thing, that I can't do anything with.
After the second incorrect delivery, I called customer service and they told that nothing could be done that week because it was 2pm on a Friday and no body was around... I
Was told I would be called back but I had no communication. I followed up with them twice only to get a response saying, we'll send you another one. Followed shortly by we're having stock issues and that they would refund me. I responded immediately, but they have gone silent again.
This is the absolute WORST online store. There is literally no worse customer experience. I wish I had never come across them. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. BUY FROM ANYWHERE ELSE. Appalling.

I received two very defective outdoor umbrella stands. I did the usual customer service email, and they say they will get back to you in 24-36 hours. Well, I have now written three times with no response AT ALL. I have NEVER encountered such poor customer service and I will NEVER EVER EVER order anything from them again. How do they stay in business. Next time I will read reviews before ordering, because I can see here I am far from the first person to have this problem.
So I had some original artwork I am looking to sell, one is a signed Charley Harper original lithograph, one is an illustration by Halston himself, all 12 first editions of Flair magazine framed in mint condition and 4 other beautiful prints. I thought I would try to become a vendor as I thought OKL was a chic site and that my items were of the same quality/value as the items on the OKL site. They sent me an e-mail saying they declined to work with me. I can't help but take that as an insult to my taste level and I will def. Be telling all my friends to boycott that company. Your loss OKL.
OKL has attempted to charge my credit card 5x since May for phantom transactions, each time MORE THAN $4,000. OKL is unauthorized to charge my credit card and should not even have access to it. The paper trail on their excuses is endless. I've scrubbed I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and lawyers are now involved. Terrible company since the acquisition.

This company has gone way down hill. I bought a Sutton Place Console in Blueberry- it was promised for June 3 or 4 never arrived. I contact them everyday with no response. Since ONE KINGS LANE was recently sold to BED, BATH + BEYOND I guess the original owners don't feel responsible to the loyal customers who kept them in business. I will never buy anything from this site ever again.
